Powered partial least squares discriminant analysis

From the fundamental parts of PLS‐DA, Fisher's canonical discriminant analysis (FCDA) and Powered PLS (PPLS), we develop the concept of powered PLS for classification problems (PPLS‐DA). By taking advantage of a sequence of data reducing linear transformations (consistent with the computation of ordinary PLS‐DA components), PPLS‐DA computes each component from the transformed data by maximization of a parameterized Rayleigh quotient associated with FCDA. Models found by the powered PLS methodology can contribute to reveal the relevance of particular predictors and often requires fewer and simpler components than their ordinary PLS counterparts. From the possibility of imposing restrictions on the powers available for optimization we obtain an explorative approach to predictive modeling not available to the traditional PLS methods. Oscillatory behavior of a fractional partial differential equation

In this paper, a fractional partial differential equation subject to the Robin boundary condition is considered. Based on the properties of Riemann-Liouville fractional derivative and a generalized Riccati technique, we obtained sufficient conditions for oscillation of the solutions of such equation. Examples are given to illustrate the main results.     

The eigenvalue problem for elliptic partial differential equation with multi-point nonlocal conditions

We study the spectral problem for the system of difference equations of a two-dimensional elliptic partial differential equation with nonlocal conditions. A new form of two-point nonlocal conditions that involve interior points is proposed. The matrix of the difference system is nonsymmetric thus different types of eigenvalues occur. The conditions for the existence of the eigenvalues and their corresponding eigenvectors are presented for the one dimensional problem. Then, these relations are generalized to the two-dimensional problem by the separation of variables technique.     

Fixed point theorems for generalized weakly S-contractive mappings in partial metric spaces

In this paper, we establish some unique xed point theorems for generalized weakly S-contractive with nondecreasing and weakly increasing mappings in complete partial metric space. Also, we give some examples for strengthens of our main results.     

Solutions for the double Sine‐Gordon equation by Exp‐function,Tanh, and extended Tanh methods

In this work, we implement some analytical techniques such as the Exp‐function, Tanh, and extended Tanh methods for solving nonlinear partial differential equation, which contains sine terms, its name Double Sine‐Gordon equation. 设△是一个有限无圈的箭图.引入了由Δ所决定的偏周期预投射代数,它是一个定义在周期为p的稳定平移箭图Z△/(τ~p)上的代数,记为Π_(Q(Δ,p),J).当周期p=1时,偏周期预投射代数就是偏预投射代数.我们推广了Eting和Eu的方法并得到无圈的星形箭图△所决定的偏周期预投射代数Π_((Q(Δ,p)),J)的Hilbert级数的计算公式.

利用概率论方法、测度变换方法、偏微分方程的变量代换法、Green函数法、Fourier变换法,给出了一个期望E(e-r(T-t)(ST-K)+|St=S)的几种求解方法.     

Feynman integration over octonions with application to quantum mechanics

The article is devoted to Gaussian quasi‐measures and Feynman integrals on infinite‐dimensional spaces with values in the octonion algebra. Their characteristic functionals are studied. Products and convolutions of characteristic functionals and quasi‐measures are investigated. Theorems about properties of octonion‐valued Gaussian quasi‐measures and Feynman integrals are proved. Applications of the Feynman integration over octonions to quantum mechanics and partial differential equations are outlined. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

本文通过在有向图上每个状态结点处定义合作函数,运用Berge C的关于图匕对策中策略的概念,在网格状有向图上考察部分合作动态对策.局中人在对策进程中将采取部分合作而不是完全合作,部分合作的主要特征是每个局中人的行为是合作行动与单独行动的组合.本文合作函数的设定允许局中人加入某个联盟之后再脱离该联盟,同时给出了有向图上部分合作对策的值、最优路径的算法及示例.
