The solubility of bosentan in aqueous-2-propanol mixtures at several temperatures,measurement and data correlation

ABSTRACT

The solubilities of bosentan (BST) in binary aqueous mixtures of 2-propanol at temperatures ranging from 293.15 to 313.15 K were determined using a shake-flask method. The produced data were modelled with the Jouyban-Acree-van’t Hoff model and difference between the predicted data and experimental ones were illustrated by percent average relative deviations (%ARD). Moreover, the thermodynamic functions of dissolution for BST in the aqueous 2-propanol solutions were computed which suggest that the dissolution process is endothermic and not spontaneous.

研究目前文献中常见的１８种微光成像系统探测方程之间的内在联系和异同之处，分析论证各种阈值探测理论和探测方程存在的问题和不足。在此基础上，从人眼的视觉理论和阈值特性出发，建立微光成像系统新的阈值探测理论模型，并分别导出微光直视系统和微光电视系统的视距探测方程。应用所导出的理论公式计算的数据与各种实际系统的实测数据进行了比较，证明新的阈值探测理论和视距探测方程是正确可靠的，且具有很高的精度。     

The size distribution for theA g RB f−g Model of polymerization

This paper gives the equilibrium distribution of polymer sizes for Flory'sA _g RB _f–g model of polymerization. In this model, the polymers are composed of structural units withg functional groups of the typeA and (f-g) functional groups of the typeB. Reaction is subject to three conditions: (1) Functional groups of the typeA react only with those of typeB, and vice versa. (2) Intramolecular reactions do not occur [and therefore only branched-chain (noncyclic) polymers and formed]. (3) Subject to conditions (1) and (2), all functional groups are equally reactive. The derivation employs Stockmayer's statistical mechanical method (first used on Flory'sRA _f model), coupled with a recursion giving the number of distinct polymers which may be assembled fromk units of theA _g RB _f–g type. We also give distributions for a limiting case of theA _g RB _f–g model, the so-calledA _g RB model. This paper completes the solution of the Smoluchowski coagulation equation (monodisperse case) for the kernelsa _ij =A + B(i +j)+ Cij. The proof will be given in another publication.     

具转向点常微分方程混合边值问题的一致收敛差分格式

本文得到了具转向点的二阶常微分方程混合边值问题解的导数估计,提出了Il′in型差分格式,证明了此差分格式按L~1模关于小参数ε的一阶一致收敛性。最后,给出了一个数值例子,计算结果与理论分析一致。     

Existence of solutions for integral inclusions of Urysohn type with nonconvex-valued orientor field

In this paper, we prove the existence of solutions for an integral inclusion of Urysohn type with nonconvex orientor field and with delay. We make standard boundedness and continuity assumptions on the data, and we assume that the orientor field is l.s.c. in the state variable. Using a selection theorem of Fryszkowski, we are able to prove the existence of solutions, extending an earlier result of Angell.This research was supported by NSF Grant No. DMS-86-02313.     

A simple game with a singular focal line

We propose a simple game whose solution contains a singular focal line, i.e., a focal line reached by optimal trajectories in a nontangential fashion. We also provide a discussion of how the optimal discriminating strategy can be approximated by a pure feedback.This work was prepared while the first author was visiting at INRIA-Sophia Antipolis, Valbonne, France.

On Weak Solutions of an Integral Equation Driven by a p-Semimartingale of Special Type

We consider the integral equation driven by a standard Brownian motion and by a fractional Brownian motion. Sufficient conditions under which the equation has a weak solution are obtained.     

Invariance Principle Under Self-Normalization for Nonidentically Distributed Random Variables

Let V _n ^–1 _n be the adaptive process of self-normalized partial sums S _k of independent random variables X _i , defined by linear interpolation between the points (V _k ²/V _n ²,S _k /V _n ), kn, where V _k ²= _ik X _i ². We prove that if the X _k 's are symmetric, V _n ^–1 _n converges weakly to the Brownian motion W in each Hölder space supporting W if and only if V _n ^–1 max _kn |X _k |=o _P (1). We give some partial extension to the non symmetric case.
