The chaotic dynamics of a micromechanical resonator with electrostatic forces on both sides are investigated. Using the Melnikov function, an analytical criterion for homoclinic chaos in the form of an inequality is written in terms of the system parameters. Detailed numerical studies including basin of attraction, and bifurcation diagram confirm the analytical prediction and reveal the effect of parametric excitation amplitude on the system transition to chaos. The main result of this paper indicates that it is possible to reduce the electrostatically induced homoclinic and heteroclinic chaos for a range of values of the amplitude and the frequency of the parametric excitation. Different active controllers are applied to suppress the vibration of the micromechanical resonator system. Moreover, a time-varying stiffness is introduced to control the chaotic motion of the considered system. The techniques of phase portraits, time history, and Poincare maps are applied to analyze the periodic and chaotic motions. 相似文献
We demonstrate the laser performances of Nd, Y:SrF2 crystals with Nd'3+ concentrations of 0.15 and 0.43 at.%. The sample with 0.43 at.% Nd3+ concentration yields a maximum output power of 1.023 W at 1056.9 nm with a slope efficiency of 53%. The focal length of the thermal lens is analyzed for the 0.15 at.% Nd3+-doped crystal sample. An improved cavity is designed considering the thermal lens. The maximum output power is 464 mW at 1056.9 nm, with a slope efficiency of 36.1%. The wavelength is tuned within the range of 1049.74-1059.13 nm. 相似文献
We consider a hunting area and a wildlife reserve and answer the question: How does clever migration decision affect the social optimal and the private optimal hunting levels and population stocks? We analyze this in a model allowing for two‐way migration between hunting and reserve areas, where the populations’ migration decisions depend on both hunting pressure and relative population densities. In the social optimum a pure stress effect on the behavior of smart wildlife exists. This implies that the population level in the wildlife reserve tends to increase and the population level in the hunting area and hunting levels tend to decrease. On the other hand, the effect on stock tends to reduce the population in the wildlife reserve and increase the population in the hunting area and thereby also increase hunting. In the case of the private optimum, open‐access is assumed and we find that the same qualitative results arise when comparing a situation with and without stress effects, but of course at a higher level of hunting. We also show that when net social benefits of hunting dominate the net social benefits of populations, wildlife reserves are optimally placed in areas of low carrying capacity and vice versa. 相似文献
The sensitivity of glycan analysis using nano-liquid chromatography interfaced with electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) increases with the decrease of the mobile phase flow rate, accompanied by reduced ion suppression. In this study, we describe the preparation and performance of high efficiency 10 microm I.D. amine-bonded poly(vinylbenzyl chloride-divinylbenzene) hydrophilic interaction (HILIC) porous layer open tubular (PLOT) columns operated at 20 nL/min for the separation and analysis of glycan mixtures. HILIC-PLOT columns with a uniform porous polymer layer were reproducibly prepared ( approximately 4% RSD in retention time from column-to-column) via in situ polymerization, followed by one step modification with ethylenediamine. When coupled on-line with negative ESI-MS, low detection limits (0.3fmol) for a 3-sialyl-tetrasaccharide were achieved using a 2.5mx10 microm I.D. HILIC-PLOT column. A dextran ladder standard was used to evaluate the performance of the column, and high efficiency separation was achieved with detection of the dextrans up to G22 from approximately 50 fmol amounts injected. As an example of the high sensitivity of the column, MS(6) characterization of glycan structures was possible from the injection of 10 fmol of a neutral and sialylated glycan. As another example of high sensitivity LC-MS analysis of 3 ng of a PNGase F digest of ovalbumin allowed 28 N-linked glycans to be confidently identified from a single analysis. High quality MS/MS spectra for each ovalbumin glycan were acquired and manually interpreted for structure analysis. The HILIC-PLOT column is a very promising approach for LC-MS analysis of glycans at the ultratrace level. 相似文献
Spin‐restricted time‐dependent DFT for open‐shell systems is used to study the spin multiplicity dependence of nonlinear optical coefficients. Calculations are performed for various spin states of the pyrrole radical (see figure). The results indicate a substantial dependence on spin multiplicity of the NLO properties, which are sensitive to the basis set compared to closed shells at the DFT level of theory.
Polymer solar cells (PSCs) made by poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) with multi-adducts fullerenes, [6,6]-phenyl-C61-butyric acid methyl ester (PC61BM), PC61BM-bisadduct (bisPC61BM) and PC61BM-trisadduct (trisPC61BM), were reported. Electrochemistry studies indicated that PC61BM, bisPC61BM and trisPC61BM had step-up distributional lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) energy. PSCs made by P3HT with above PC61BMs show a trend of enlarged open-circuit voltages, which is in good agreement with the energy difference between the LUMO of PC61BMs and the HOMO of P3HT. On the contrary, reduced short-circuit currents (Jsc) were observed. The investigation of photo responsibility, dynamics analysis based on photo-induced absorption of composite films, P3HT:PC61BMs and n-channel thin film field-effect transistors of PC61BMs suggested that the short polaron lifetimes and low carrier mobilities were response for reduced Jsc. All these results demonstrated that it was important to develop an electron acceptor which has both high carrier mobility, and good compatibility with the electron donor conjugated polymer for approaching high performance PSCs. 相似文献
