Squeezing and sub-Poissonian effects up-to fourth order in fifth harmonic generation

The concept of squeezing of the electromagnetic field is investigated in fundamental mode in fifth harmonic generation with the approximation |gt|²?1, where g is coupling constant and t, the interaction time between waves during the process. It has been found that squeezing occurs in amplitude, amplitude-squared, amplitude-cubed and fourth-order amplitude states of the field for selective phase values of field amplitude of fundamental mode. The dependence of squeezing on the photon number has also been investigated and found to be sub-Poissonian in nature. The signal to noise ratio has been studied in different order. It is found that the signal to noise ratio is higher in lower order.

微生物批式流加发酵脉冲系统的参数辨识及稳定性

针对微生物批式流加发酵生产1,3-丙二醇的非线性脉冲系统,建立敏感参数的优化辨识模型(PDP),论述了模型解的性质、解与参量的关系以及辨识问题最优解的存在性.通过构造算法求得辨识问题最优解,并讨论了新参数下脉冲系统解的稳定性.     

Nonlinear wave interactions in patterned Silica and AlGaAs waveguides

We study nonlinear interactions between discrete optical solitons that propagate in different regimes of diffraction, and the nonlinear scattering of dispersive waves by local optical potentials. It is well known in optics that when linear coherent waves meet, they interfere without interactions. Linear waves also scatter through local optical structures not exchanging any power with the guided modes of these structures. As a focusing Kerr nonlinearity is present, such linearly-inhibited phenomena can exist. Our studies are performed in silica and AlGaAs nonlinear waveguides, excited by ultra-short pulses in the near infrared. An X‐shaped π‐conjugated polymer comprising of fluorene units and anthracene units with high efficiency. Synthesis and optical and electrochemical properties

A new X‐shaped π‐conjugated monomer comprising of fluorene units and anthracene units was synthesized, and it was used to fabricate the new X‐shaped π‐conjugated polymers and investigate the properties of the new polymers. Using different molar ratios between such monomer and a fluorene monomer gave three polymers that showed higher absolute PL quantum yields than the linear polyfluorene (PF) in the solid state. After thermal annealing at 200 °C for 4 h, the linear PF showed an additional bathochromic emission at about 550 nm, whereas such red‐shifted emission was fully eliminated for the X‐shaped polymers. The electroluminescent devices based on the X‐shaped polymers with a configuration of ITO/PEDOT:PSS/polymer/LiF/Ca/Al displayed blue emission with low turn‐on voltage and high brightness. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. This paper concerns with properties of solutions of a nonlinear diffusion problem in non-divergence form.By constructing proper test functions,it is proved that solutions of the problem possess the property of localization.     

Particle production and nonlinear diffusion in relativistic systems

The short parton production phase in high‐energy heavy‐ion collisions is treated analytically as a nonlinear diffusion process. The initial buildup of the rapidity density distributions of produced charged hadrons within τ_p? 0.25 fm/c occurs in three sources during the colored partonic phase. In a two‐step approach, the subsequent diffusion in pseudorapidity space during the interaction time of τ_int? 7‐10 fm/c (mean duration of the collision) is essentially linear as expressed in the Relativistic Diffusion Model (RDM) which yields excellent agreement with the data at RHIC energies, and allows for predictions at LHC energies. Results for d+Au are discussed in detail.     

Long-Distance Transmission at Zero Dispersion: Exact Expressions for One-Time Statistical Properties

We study the transmission of a signal through a dispersionless fiber with in-line amplifiers. The nonlinearities of the fiber and the noise generated at each amplifier are taken into account. Exact analytical expressions are obtained for the field averages. From these results we obtain the distributed amplification approximation, and study the conditions under which this approximation is valid.     

求解非线性方程组的L-M方法

本文研究了求解奇异非线性方程组的Levenberg-Marquardt方法的收敛性.利用选取新的迭代参数求解非线性方程组的L-M方法,获得点列的超线性收敛性和二阶收敛性,并把试验结果与文献[19,20]的结果进行了比较.     

极大单调映象的满射定理及其应用

The main purpose of this paper is to study the surjectivity theorems for maximal monotone mapping in reflexive Banach spaces by using fixed point theory.We prove some new surjectivity theorems under some conditions and give its application in differential equation.
