We propose a scheme to transmit information via the statistical distribution of excitations of a nanomechanical resonator. It employs a controllable coupling between this system and a Cooper pair box. The success probability and the fidelity are calculated and compared with those obtained in an atom-field system in different regimes. Addtionaly, the scheme can also be applied to prepare low excited Fock states.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to the scattering of photons by charged particles in models of non-relativistic quantum mechanical matter coupled minimally to the soft modes of the quantized electromagnetic field. We prove existence of scattering states involving an arbitrary number of asymptotic photons of arbitrarily high energy. Previously, upper bounds on the photon energies seemed necessary in the case of n>1 asymptotic photons and non-confined, non-relativistic charged particles.  相似文献

A scheme for approximately and conditionally teleporting an unknown atomic-entangled state in cavity QED is proposed.It is the novel extension of the scheme of [Phys.Rev.A 69 (2004) 064302],where the state to be teleported is an unknown atomic state and where only a time point of system evolution and the corresponding fidelity implementing the teleportation are given.In fact,there exists multi-time points and the corresponding fidclities,which are shown in this paper and then are used to realize the approximate and conditional teleportation of the unknown atomic-entangled state.Naturally,our scheme does not involve the Bell-state measurement or an additional atom,which is required in the Bell-state measurement,only requiring one single-mode cavity.The scheme may be generalized to not only the teleportation of the cavity-mode-entangled-state by means of a single atom but also the teleportation of the unknown trapped-ion-entangled-state in a linear ion trap and the teleportation of the multi-atomic entangled states included in generalized GHZ states.  相似文献

This paper investigates the dynamics of two two-level atoms, which simultaneously couple to a quasi-1D waveguide with rectangular cross section. The waveguide modes serve as environment, which induces the interaction and collective dissipation between the two distant atoms. When both of the two atoms are located in the middle of the waveguide, a retardation effect is observed, which can be broken by moving one of the atoms away from the center of the waveguide. To preserve the complete dissipation of the system via dark state mechanism, a scheme where the connection of the atoms is perpendicular to the axis of the waveguide is proposed.  相似文献
