Summary Computational procedures are devised which allow accurate magnitude spectra of the modulus (v) to be evaluated from the observed tansient surface tension decay. This is achieved by proper data manipulation and by adaptation of FT algorithms, taking into account the particular characteristics of the time — and frequency — domain functions relevant to the examined dynamic properties of fluid interfaces. process due to redistribution of deuterium impurities between compressed and dilated regions of the sample, under an applied

The Hartree-Fock approximation has been generalized to incorporate the nonadiabatic effect of molecular vibration previously by Tachibana et al. Here, we will derive the Hartree-Fock equation which reflects also the nonlinear effect of the infrared radiation field as well by using the Bloch-Nordsieck transformation which was discussed first by Nguyen-Dang and Bandrauk in the field of molecular physics. The effects on the thermal properties and bioactivity of the substitution of CaO by La2O3, Y2O3 and Al2O3 in a glass of composition CaO·SiO2 were studied and compared. The trivalent metal oxides were all effective in raising the glass transformation and softening
temperatures when they replaced CaO in the glass of composition CaO·SiO2. The experimental results suggest that Al2O3 plays the role of a glass-former, while La2O3 and Y2O3 behave as glass-modifiers. The tendency to devitrify appears to be the lower, the farther the glass composition is from those
of the crystalline phases, owing to the need for diffusion over longer distances, the greater the composition difference.
The substitution with the trivalent metal oxides is detrimental to the bioactivity, which is preserved only in the event of
very small degrees of substitution. The most negative role appears to be played by Al2O3.

Tolerance, bioaccumulation, biotransformation and excretion of arsenic compounds by the fresh–water shrimp (Neocaridina denticulata) and the killifish (Oryzias latipes) (collected from the natural environment) were investigated. Tolerances (LC50) of the shrimp against disodium arsenate [abbreviated as As(V)], methylarsonic acid (MAA), dimethylarsinic acid (DMAA), and arsenobetaine (AB) were 1.5, 10, 40, and 150μg As ml?1, respectively. N. denticulata accumulated arsenic from an aqueous phase containing 1 μg As ml?1 of As(V), 10 μg As ml?1 of MAA, 30 μg As ml?1 of DMAA or 150 μg As ml?1 of AB, and biotransformed and excreted part of these species. Both methylation and demethylation of the arsenicals were observed in vivo. When living N. denticulata accumulating arsenic was transferred into an arsenic–free medium, a part of the accumulated arsenic was excreted. The concentration of methylated arsenicals relative to total arsenic was higher in the excrement than in the organism. Total arsenic accumulation in each species via food in the food chain Green algae (Chlorella vulgaris) → shrimp (N. denticulata) → killifish (O. latipes) decreased by one order of magnitude or more, and the concentration of methylated arsenic relative to total arsenic accumulated increased successively with elevation in the trophic level. Only trace amounts of monomethylarsenic species were detected in the shrimp and fish tested. Dimethylarsenic species in alga and shrimp, and trimethylarsenic species in killifish, were the predominant methylated arsenic species, respectively. 相似文献

is given. The function g1 is the derivative of Ramanujan’s function Φ (after rescaling), and χ3(n) = 0, 1 or −1 according as n≡ 0, 1 or 2 (mod 3), respectively, and |q| < 1. Many properties of the common generalization, as well as the functions g1 and g2, are proved.
