The Casimir energy for massless scalar field which satisfies periodic boundary conditions in two-dimensional domain wall background is calculated by making use of general properties of renormalized stress-tensor. The line element of domain wall is time dependent, the trace anomaly which is the nonvanishing T for a conformally invariant field after renormalization, represent the back reaction of the dynamical Casimir effect.  相似文献

The Krafft temperatures and enthalpies of solution of N-hexadecanoyl alaninate and valinate, and N-tetradecanoyl phenylalaninate were obtained from differential scanning calorimetry. The Krafft temperature of N-acyl amino acid surfactant increased with decreasing size of the counter ion, with some exceptions. The enthalpy of solution was endothermic and increased with decreasing size of the counter ion except for the cases of lithium salt. The results showed that the L-L interaction in the solid state of N-hexadecanoyl amino acid surfactant salt was superior to the D-L interaction for both the alanine and valine systems when the counter ion size increased. However, the D-L interaction was still advantageous for the phenylalanine system with Cs+ as a counter ion. Both Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy studies and theoretical calculations suggested that the difference in magnitudes of the interactions between peptide and counter ion was a dominant factor for the chiral effect.  相似文献

A study of the indentation size effect (ISE) in aluminum and alpha brass is presented. The study employs rate effects to examine the fundamental mechanisms responsible for the ISE. These rate effects are characterized in terms of the rate sensitivity of the hardness, , where H is the hardness and is an effective strain rate in the plastic volume beneath the indenter. can be measured using indentation creep, load relaxation, or rate change experiments. The activation volume V∗, calculated based on which can traditionally be used to compare rate sensitivity data from a hardness test to conventional uniaxial testing, is calculated. Using materials with different stacking fault energy and specimens with different levels of work hardening, we demonstrate how increasing the dislocation density affects V∗; these effects may be taken as a kinetic signature of dislocation strengthening mechanisms. We noticed both H and exhibit an ISE. The course of V∗ vs. H as a result of the ISE is consistent with the course of testing specimens with different level of work hardening. This result was observed in both materials. This suggests that a dislocation mechanism is responsible for the ISE. When the results are fitted to a strain gradient plasticity model, the data at deep indents (microhardness and large nanoindentation) exhibit a straight-line behavior closely identical to literature data. However, for shallow indents (nanoindentation data), the slope of the line severely changes, decreasing by a factor of 10, resulting in a “bilinear behavior”.  相似文献

Using 170Yb and 155Gd M?ssbauer measurements down to 0.03 K, we have examined the semiconducting pyrochlore Yb2Mo2O7 where the Mo intra-sublattice interaction is anti-ferromagnetic and the metallic pyrochlore Gd2Mo2O7 where this interaction is ferromagnetic. Additional information was obtained from susceptibility, magnetisation and 172Yb perturbed angular correlation measurements. The microscopic measurements evidence lattice disorder which is important in Yb2Mo2O7 and modest in Gd2Mo2O7. Magnetic irreversibilities occur at 17 K in Yb2Mo2O7 and at 75 K in Gd2Mo2O7 and below these temperatures the rare earths carry magnetic moments which are induced through couplings with the Mo sublattice. In Gd2Mo2O7, we observe the steady state Gd hyperfine populations at 0.027 K are out of thermal equilibrium, indicating that Gd and Mo spin fluctuations persist at very low temperatures. Frustration is thus operative in this essentially isotropic pyrochlore where the dominant Mo intra-sublattice interaction is ferromagnetic. The behavior of charge and spin persistent currents in an integrable lattice ring of strongly correlated electrons with a magnetic impurity is exactly studied. Our results manifest that the oscillations of charge and spin persistent currents are similar to the ones, earlier obtained for integrable continuum models with a magnetic impurity. The difference is due to two (instead of one) Fermi velocities of low-lying excitations. The form of oscillations in the ground state is “saw-tooth”-like, generic for any multi-particle coherent one-dimensional models. The integrable magnetic impurity introduces net charge and spin chiralities in the generic integrable lattice system, which determine the initial phase shifts of charge and spin persistent currents. We show that the magnitude of the charge persistent current in the generic Kondo situation does not depend on the parameters of the magnetic impurity, unlike the (magneto)resistivity of transport currents. When a gas sample of 13CH3F is prepared with a population of isomers (ortho and para forms) far from the equilibrium given by nuclear spin statistics, it relaxes towards this equilibrium with an exponential decay rate. This phenomenon called nuclear spin conversion is mainly governed by intramolecular spin-spin and spin-rotation interactions. In the quantum relaxation model [P.L. Chapovsky, Phys. Rev. A 43, 3624 (1991)], two pairs of ortho-para levels (J = 9, K = 3; J' = 11, K' = 1) and (J = 20, K = 3; J' = 21, K' = 1) are principally responsible for the conversion. The levels of the second pair are coupled by both spin-spin and spin-rotation interactions. The application of an electric field (up to 10 kV/cm) induces a crossing of the Stark components of this pair, which is observed for the first time. A specific experimental set-up based on an electric field of alternating triangular shape is used, which allows the determination of the strength of both interactions via the measurement of the spin conversion decay rates. This work yields the first experimental value for the electronic contribution to the spin-rotation interaction in 13CH3F. 本文首先利用基本统计分析和Kolmogorov -Smirnov检验发现沪市指数收益率不服从正态分布 ,随后利用了K -W检验考察周末效应的存在性 ,利用M -W检验考察周末效应的模式 ,最后利用了Levene检验来对收益率序列的方差进行分析 ,得出上海股市存在“二、五”效应的结论。并从结算制度、信息流的影响、信息披露制度等方面分析了成因。  相似文献

Given a complete and cocomplete symmetric monoidal closed category V and a symmetric monoidal V-category C with cotensors and a strong V-monad T on C, we investigate axioms under which an Ob C-indexed family of operations of the form x :(Tx) v (Tx) w provides semantics for algebraic operations on the computational -calculus. We recall a definition for which we have elsewhere given adequacy results, and we show that an enrichment of it is equivalent to a range of other possible natural definitions of algebraic operation. In particular, we define the notion of generic effect and show that to give a generic effect is equivalent to giving an algebraic operation. We further show how the usual monadic semantics of the computational -calculus extends uniformly to incorporate generic effects. We outline examples and non-examples and we show that our definition also enriches one for call-by-name languages with effects.  相似文献
