The mass resolution of a time-of-flight (TOF) mass spectrometer is directly proportional to its total flight pathlength. Multi-turn or multi-passage ion optical geometries are necessary to obtain fight distances of sufficient length within reasonable size limitations. We have investigated ion optics for a multi-turn TOF mass spectrometer with electrostatic sectors. The concept of 'perfect' focusing conditions is introduced. Furthermore, a new type of multi-turn TOF mass spectrometer, the MULTUM Linear plus, was developed. It consists of four cylindrical electric sectors and 28 electric quadrupole lenses. It has a vacuum chamber 60 x 70 x 20 cm in size. Mass resolution is demonstrated to increase according to the number of ion cycles. A mass resolution of 350 000 (m/z = 28, FWHM) was achieved after 501.5 cycles. The MULTUM Linear plus analyzer is not simple, however; 28 electric quadrupole lenses are used. In order to reduce the number of ion optical parts, an improved multi-turn TOF mass spectrometer, the MULTUM II, consisting of only four toroidal electric sectors, was also developed. The possibility of tandem mass spectrometric applications using multi-turn TOF mass spectrometers is also discussed.  相似文献

A photochromic polymer film containing three different diarylethene derivatives, that is, 1,2-bis(3,5-dimethyl-2-thienyl)perfluorocyclopentene (1), 1,2-bis(2,5-dimethyl-3-thienyl)perfluorocyclopentene (2), and 1,2-bis(2-methyl-5-phenyl-3-thienyl)perfluorocyclopentene (3) was prepared. Upon UV irradiation, the three derivatives changed to their closed-ring isomers having different colors, yellow, red, and blue. They showed different spectra not only in UV/Vis region but also in the IR spectral region. Upon irradiation with visible light of appropriate wavelengths, each closed-ring isomer was selectively bleached, and three bits eight states recording was performed. The eight states could be read out nondestructively by using IR light of appropriate wavenumbers.  相似文献

 Cationic amphiphilic polymers (e.g. polyvinylpyridinium bromides and polyvinylimidazo-lium bromides) adopt a compact coiled form in aqueous solutions. In the case of former polymers, the resulting hydrophobic microdomains are evidenced only by fluorescence spectroscopy if a molecular rotor (DMAC) is used as a fluorescent probe, while the behaviour of the latter can be studied in aqueous solution by using both types of fluorescent probes, i.e., pyrene and the molecular rotor. The purpose of the present investigation deals with a comparative study between the magnitude of the local viscosity and the polarity of the hydrophobic microdomains generated by poly(3-hexadecyl-1-vinylimidazolium bromide) in an aqueous medium using pyrene and DMAC as fluorescent probes. Moreover, the results are compared with the data obtained with micelles of conventional surfactants such as the homopolymer repetitive unit model and CTAB. 利用31P核磁共振谱研究了MoDTP及其与ZnDTP的相互作用,并用Timken实验机、SEM、DSC法分别考察了MoDTP与ZnDTP复合对润滑油板压、抗磨损及抗氧化性能的影响。结果表明:MoDTP与ZnDTP分子间有烷基和/或烷氧基的相互转换;二者并用在综合性能上有较好的协同增效作用。在此基础上,提出了MoDTP与ZnDTP协同增效作用的机理。  相似文献

介绍了为解决某钢铁企业的中热值煤气,蒸汽和电的短缺而开发的一台12MW的热电气多联产装置,在该系统中,把一台流化床气化炉和一台75t/h循环流化床锅炉结合在一起,从而实现煤气和蒸汽联产,在详细介绍了该装置的设计思想和结构特点的同时,用所建的热电气多联产模型对该装置包括煤气产量,煤气成分,煤气热值和系统运行温度等在内的性能参数进行了预测。  相似文献

This work presents multi‐state multi‐reference Møller–Plesset second‐order perturbation theory as a variant of multi‐reference perturbation theory to treat electron correlation in molecules. An effective Hamiltonian is constructed from the first‐order wave operator to treat several strongly interacting electronic states simultaneously. The wave operator is obtained by solving the generalized Bloch equation within the first‐order interaction space using a multi‐partitioning of the Hamiltonian based on multi‐reference Møller–Plesset second‐order perturbation theory. The corresponding zeroth‐order Hamiltonians are nondiagonal. To reduce the computational effort that arises from the nondiagonal generalized Fock operator, a selection procedure is used that divides the configurations of the first‐order interaction space into two sets based on the strength of the interaction with the reference space. In the weaker interacting set, only the projected diagonal part of the zeroth‐order Hamiltonian is taken into account. The justification of the approach is demonstrated in two examples: the mixing of valence Rydberg states in ethylene, and the avoided crossing of neutral and ionic potential curves in LiF. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Cu ( II ) supported on poly(8‐hydroxyquinoline‐p‐styrenesulfonate) (Cu ( II )@PHQSS) was prepared and fully characterized by the different techniques including fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT‐IR), 1H NMR, 13C NMR, thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA), differential thermal gravimetric (DTG), differential thermal analysis (DTA), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and energy dispersive X‐ray analysis (EDS). We present novel inorganic–organic hybrid catalyst to accomplish domino multi‐component reaction (MCR) for synthesis of 3‐amino‐2′‐oxospiro[benzo[c]pyrano[3,2‐a]phenazine‐1,3′‐indoline]‐2‐carbonitrile/carboxylate derivatives. This methodology offers remarkable development by easy production of H3PMo12O40/Hyd‐SBA‐15 in regard to solving the problem of using harsh catalysts, also it demonstrates to be impressive and environmentally friendly in term of low reaction times and high yields.  相似文献
