We present proofs of two results concerning entanglement in three-dimensional bond percolation. Firstly, the critical probability for entanglement with free boundary conditions is strictly less than the critical probability for connectivity percolation. (The proof presented here is a detailed justification of the ideas sketched in Aizenman and Grimmett.) Secondly, under the hypothesis that the critical probabilities for entanglement with free and wired boundary conditions are different, for p between the two critical probabilities, the size of the entangled cluster at the origin with free boundary conditions does not have exponentially decaying tails. 相似文献

We make use of natural induction to propose, following John Ju Sakurai, a generalization of Bell's inequality for two spin s=n/2(n=1,2,...) particle systems in a singlet state. We have found that for any finite integer or half-integer spin Bell's inequality is violated when the terms in the inequality are calculated from a quantum mechanical point of view. In the final expression for this inequality the two members therein are expressed in terms of a single parameter . Violation occurs for in some interval of the form (,/2) where parameter becomes closer and closer to /2, as the spin grows, that is, the greater the spin number the size of the interval in which violation occurs diminishes to zero. Bell's inequality is a relationship among observables that discriminates between Einstein's locality principle and the non-local point of view of orthodox quantum mechanics. So our conclusion may also be stated by saying that for large spin numbers the non-local and local points of view agree. 相似文献

This paper investigates thermal entanglements of a two-qubit Heisenberg XY chain in the presence of the Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya anisotropic antisymmetric interaction. By the concept of concurrence, it is found that the effects of spin-orbit coupling on the entanglement are different from those of spin-spin model. The preparations of remote two-atom and three-atom entanglements governed by this interaction are discussed in a specific parameter region. We present a scheme to prepare cluster-type entangled squeezed vacuum states (CTESVS) by considering the two-photon interaction between a two-level atom and a high-quality cavity, driven by a strong classical field. After the realization of simple atomic measurements, the generation of CTESVS in four separate cavities is accomplished within the cavity decay time.
