The effect of sintering dispersed and bulk, low molecular weight (Mn = 50,000 Da), nano-emulsion polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) particles near their melting point is described. With the nascent particles consisting of ca.75 nm diameter, hexagonal, single crystals, sintering at, e.g., 350℃, results, initially, in merger of neighboring particles,followed by individual molecular motion on the substrate and the formation of folded chain, lamellar single crystals and spherulites, and on-edge ribbons. It is suggested these structures develop, with time, in the mesomorphic "melt". Sintering of the bulk resin yields extended chain, band structures, as well as folded chain lamellae; end-surface to end-surface merger,possibly by end-to-end polymerization, occurs with increasing time.  相似文献

Doping is a vitally important technique that can be used to modulate the properties of two‐dimensional materials. In this work, by using first‐principles density functional calculations, we investigated the electrical properties of SnSe2 monolayers by p‐type/n‐type and isoelectronic doping. Substitution at Sn/Se sites was found to be easy if the monolayer was grown under Sn‐/Se‐poor conditions. Substitutions at Sn sites with metallic atoms (e.g. Ga, Ge, In, Bi, Sb, Pb) resulted in positive substitution energies, which indicated that they were not effective doping candidates. For substitutions at Se sites with nonmetallic atoms, no promising candidates were found for p‐type doping (e.g., N, P, As). Among these, N and As showed positive substitution energies. Although P had a negative substitution energy under Sn‐rich conditions, it introduced trap states within the band gap. For n‐type doping (e.g., F, Cl, Br), all the calculated substitution energies were negative under both Sn‐ and Se‐rich conditions. Br was proven to be a promising candidate, because the impurity introduced a shallow donor level. Finally, for isoelectronic doping (e.g., O, S, Te), the intrinsic semiconducting features of the SnSe2 monolayer did not change, and the contribution from the impurity to the states near the band edge increased with the atomic number.  相似文献

The mechanism of ionization of an H atom interacting with intense laser electric fields is altered when a strong, oscillating magnetic field is applied along a direction parallel to the laser field. In this first study, these two strongly nonperturbative situations have been combined together and the corresponding time‐dependent (TD) Schrödinger equation has been numerically solved without using any basis set. The electric field arising out of the magnetic field and the magnetic field arising out of the laser electric field are found to be negligibly small, thereby not affecting the results. There are two main, apparently counter‐intuitive results from this study of parallel fields of the same frequency but different field strengths: (1) In presence of an oscillating magnetic field, the ionization rate due to the laser field diminishes, and (2) increasing the laser intensity, keeping the magnetic field strength the same, makes the electron density ionize with a lesser rate, in contrast to the situation with intense lasers in the absence of a strong TD magnetic field. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献

We present an automated, open source toolkit for the first‐principles screening and discovery of new inorganic molecules and intermolecular complexes. Challenges remain in the automatic generation of candidate inorganic molecule structures due to the high variability in coordination and bonding, which we overcome through a divide‐and‐conquer tactic that flexibly combines force‐field preoptimization of organic fragments with alignment to first‐principles‐trained metal‐ligand distances. Exploration of chemical space is enabled through random generation of ligands and intermolecular complexes from large chemical databases. We validate the generated structures with the root mean squared (RMS) gradients evaluated from density functional theory (DFT), which are around 0.02 Ha/au across a large 150 molecule test set. Comparison of molSimplify results to full optimization with the universal force field reveals that RMS DFT gradients are improved by 40%. Seamless generation of input files, preparation and execution of electronic structure calculations, and post‐processing for each generated structure aids interpretation of underlying chemical and energetic trends. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献

在加热激波管上测量了气相正十一烷/空气混合物的着火延迟时间,着火温度为宽温度范围731-1399 K,着火压力在2.02 × 105和10.10 × 105 Pa附近,化学计量比分别为0.5、1.0和2.0。通过监测管侧壁观测点处的反射激波压力和OH*发射光测出着火延迟时间。实验结果显示:在910 K以上,着火延迟时间随着火温度的降低而变长,从910到780 K,着火延迟时间随着火温度的降低而变短(显示出了负温度系数效应),在780 K以下,着火延迟时间随着火温度的降低再次变长。在所研究的压力下,着火压力的增加使着火时间变短。化学计量比对着火延迟的影响在着火压力为2.02 × 105和10.10 × 105 Pa时是不同的,与在高温区相比,着火延迟在低温区对化学计量比非常敏感。在整个温度范围内,当前实验结果和LLNL(LawrenceLivermore National Laboratory)机理的预测值表现出了很好的一致性。现在的正十一烷/空气的着火数据和先前实验测量的正庚烷/空气、正癸烷/空气和正十二烷/空气的着火延迟时间相比较显示了着火延迟时间随着直链烷碳原子数的增加而减小。敏感度分析显示,高、低温条件下影响正十一烷着火延迟过程的反应是显著不同的。在高温条件下起最大促进作用的反应是H + O2=O+OH,然而在低温条件下,起最大促进作用的反应是过氧十一烷基(C11H23O2)的异构化反应。本文研究首次提供了正十一烷/空气的激波管着火延迟时间。  相似文献

A uracil‐based heterocyclic azo derivative was prepared by coupling diazotized 5‐aminouracil with 2‐naphthol. This ligand, viz., 1‐(2,4‐dioxopyrimidine‐5‐yl)‐azo‐naphth‐2‐ol (HNAP), was used as a precursor for the synthesis of a series of complexes with manganese(II), cobalt(II), nickel(II), copper(II), and zinc(II) ions. Various physicochemical measurements UV–Visible, Infrared (IR), 1H NMR, 13C Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), and electron spin resonance (ESR) spectral studies were employed to characterize the ligand and the metal complexes. The ligand showed good selectivity toward Mn2+ over the other metal ions with a detection limit of 1.36 μM. This probe was used for the confocal fluorescence imaging of Mn2+ ions in Michigan Cancer Foundation‐7 (MCF‐7) cells. The ligand and the metal complexes were tested for their cytotoxicity on the MCF‐7 cell line. It was observed that complexation of HNAP with the metal ions exhibited a promising cytotoxicity.  相似文献

The quantification of three alkaloids is important because quantitative study is a means of assessing the reliability of the experimental method, and three alkaloids of peimine, peiminine, and peimisine are main active ingredients in Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2015. An effective method based on the matrix solid‐phase dispersion microextraction was developed for the extraction of alkaloid compounds in Fritillariae Thunbergii Bulbus. Target analytes were analyzed by capillary electrophoresis coupled with quadrupole time‐of‐flight mass spectrometry. The optimized experimental condition was that 50 mg Fritillariae Thunbergii Bulbus was blended homogeneously with 10 mg citric acid for 5 min. Two hundred microliters of water acidized by 1 mol/L hydrochloric acid (pH = 4.5) was selected to elute tested alkaloids. The results demonstrated that the investigated method had low limits of detection (1.32–1.59 ng/mL), good recoveries (86.63–98.12%), and reproducibility (relative standard deviations of peak areas < 0.87%). The proposed matrix solid‐phase dispersion microextraction coupled with capillary electrophoresis combined with quadrupole time‐of‐flight mass spectrometry was successfully applied for the extraction of alkaloids in plants.  相似文献

Recently, pure organic thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) emitters have attracted considerable interest from the scientific community in the field of organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) as they can theoretically realize 100 % of the internal quantum efficiency by exploiting both the singlet and triplet excitons via the reverse intersystem crossing enabled by small singlet‐triplet energy splitting. Currently, the external quantum efficiency of the TADF emitters is reaching the level of phosphorescent emitters. Therefore, the TADF approach is considered as a potential alternative to the low efficiency conventional fluorescent and expensive phosphorescent emitters. In this account, we summarized our recent development of blue and green TADF molecular designs to improve the device performances of the TADF devices.  相似文献

A method to analyze human plasma proteins without fractionation, directly applying a plasma-matrix mixture on the target plate of a matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization-time of flight-mass spectrometer (MALDI-TOF-MS), has been described. Peaks of ionized plasma proteins could not be detected applying a mixture of an undiluted plasma sample and a matrix solution, but they appeared when the plasma was diluted before mixing with the matrix. Tenfold diluted plasma provided well-resolved protein peaks in the m/z range from 4000 to 30,000. The addition of a simple post-crystallization washing procedure performed on the target plate further improved the quality of mass spectra. We numbered 58 peaks in the range of 4-160 kDa and 32 out of which were assigned to the plasma protein species which have been reported. Especially high sensitivity and resolution were obtained in the region < 30 kDa, where multiple isoforms of apolipoprotein A-I, apolipoprotein A-II, apolipoprotein C-I, apolipoprotein C-II, apolipoprotein C-III, and transthyretin could be assigned. Various post-translational modifications are involved in the isoforms, e.g., proteolytic cleavage, glycosylation and chemical modifications. This method will become complementary with the present electrophoretic techniques, especially for the analysis of low-molecular-mass proteins.  相似文献
