A new type of magnetically-separable nanocatalyst was prepared through the immobilization of phosphomolybdic acid (H3PMo12O40) in 10–30 wt.% on the surface of core-shell zirconia-coated magnetite nanoparticle (nano-Fe3O4@ZrO2). The developed heterogeneous nano-sized acid catalyst named nano-Fe3O4@ZrO2 supported PMA (or n-Fe3O4@ZrO2/PMA) was characterized using several techniques such as FT-IR, XRD, FE-SEM, VSM, EDX, TEM and TGA. The characterization data derived from FT-IR spectroscopy exhibited that H3PMo12O40 species on the support retained their Keggin structures. Additionally, the potentiometric titration with n-butylamine was employed to measure the acidity content of the as-obtained catalyst. Surprisingly, this novel active solid acid catalyst displayed to have a higher number of surface active sites compared to its homogeneous analogues. Besides, the catalytic activity of the catalyst was evaluated in multicomponent reactions (MRCs) for the rapid and efficient one-pot synthesis of 2, 4, 5-trisubstituted and 1, 2, 4, 5-tetrasubstituted imidazoles in high yields and selectivity. The sample of 20 wt.% displayed higher acidity content which led to its enhanced activity in the catalytic transformation. Moreover, the catalyst could be easily reused without deactivation after five runs, which made it a promising catalyst for practical and large-scale applications. This outstanding reusability was ascribed to the strong attachment of PMA molecules on the n-Fe3O4@ZrO2 support material.  相似文献

Functionalized magnetite nanoparticles (Fe3O4) were prepared using the coprecipitation method followed by functionalization with a multipotent antioxidant (MPAO). The MPAO was synthesized and analyzed using FTIR and NMR techniques. In this study, the functionalized nanoparticles (IONP@AO) were produced and evaluated using the FTIR, XRD, Raman, HRTEM, FESEM, VSM, and EDX techniques. The average determined particle size of IONP@AO was 10 nanometers. In addition, it demonstrated superparamagnetic properties. The magnitude of saturation magnetization value attained was 45 emu g−1. Virtual screenings of the MPAO’s potential bioactivities and safety profile were performed using PASS analysis and ADMET studies before the synthesis step. For the DPPH test, IONP@AO was found to have a four-fold greater ability to scavenge free radicals than unfunctional IONP. The antimicrobial properties of IONP@AO were also demonstrated against a variety of bacteria and fungi. The interaction of developed nanoantioxiants with biomolecules makes it a broad-spectrum candidate in biomedicine and nanomedicine.  相似文献

A composite of iron oxide nanoparticles and mineral matrix has been studied by XRD, Mössbauer spectroscopy, and TEM. Magnetite and superparamagnetic magnetite have been identified by Mössbauer spectroscopy in the nanocomposite. A relationship between the hyperfine parameters and iron oxide particle size has been confirmed by TEM. The optimal concentration of “magnetite—bentonite” composite, when the MRI signal is fully reduced, was found for using this composite as a negative contrast agent.  相似文献

超声条件下, 在乙醇分散的3-氨丙基三乙氧基硅烷(APTES)功能化的磁性Fe3O4纳米粒子和四氯合金酸的混合溶液中滴加柠檬酸钠, 成功地制备了磁性Fe3O4/Au复合纳米粒子. 采用X射线粉末衍射仪(XRD)、紫外吸收可见光谱(UV-Vis)、带有电子能谱仪(EDS)的扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、透射电子显微镜(TEM)、光电子能谱(XPS)、超导量子干涉仪(SQUID)等方法, 对复合粒子的形态、结构、组成以及磁学性质进行了表征. 结果表明: 在此条件下制得的复合粒子粒径在30 nm左右, 室温下磁化强度可达63 emu/g.  相似文献

We propose a two-lattice method for direct determination of the recoilless fraction using a single room-temperature transmission Mössbauer measurement. The method is first demonstrated for the case of iron and metallic glass two-foil system and is next generalized for the case of physical mixtures of two powders. We further apply this method to determine the recoilless fraction of hematite and magnetite particles. Finally, we provide direct measurement of the recoilless fraction in nanohematite and nanomagnetite with an average particle size of 19nm. A list of values obtained for the recoilless fraction in various materials using the two-lattice method is given.  相似文献

The Fe3O4(111)/graphene/Ni(111) trilayer is proposed to be used as an ideal spin‐filtering sandwich where the half‐metallic properties of magnetite are used. Thin magnetite layers on graphene/Ni(111) were prepared via successive oxidation of a thin iron layer predeposited on graphene/Ni(111) and the formed system was investigated by means of low‐energy electron diffraction and photoelectron spectroscopy. The electronic structure and structural quality of the graphene film sandwiched between two ferromagnetic layers remain unchanged upon magnetite formation as confirmed by experimental data.

In this article, magnetite nanoparticles (MNPs) coated with glycopolymer bearing glucose moieties were designed with optimal structural, colloidal, and magnetic properties for biomedical applications. MNPs with an average size of 17 ± 2 nm were synthesized by thermal decomposition process and then their surfaces were modified with active vinyl groups. Two different monomers were immobilized onto the surfaces: dopamine methacrylamide, a monomer with properties inspired on mussels adhesive capacity, or unprotected glycomonomer, 2‐{[(D ‐glucosamin‐2N‐yl)carbonyl]‐oxy}ethyl methacrylate. Afterward, the glycomonomer were polymerized at the interface of both vinyl functionalized MNPs by conventional radical polymerization. The resultant hybrid NPs were water dispersible presenting good stability in aqueous solution for long time periods. Moreover, the high density of carbohydrates at the surface of the magnetic NPs could confer targeting properties to the system as demonstrated by studies of their binding interactions with lectins, where the binding activity is higher as the glycopolymer content augments. The magnetic and magneto‐thermal properties of the synthesized hybrid NPs were evaluated. The magnetization curves reveal superparamagnetic features at 300 K, with high values of saturation magnetization. Furthermore, the hybrid glycoparticles show suitable heat dissipation power when exposed to alternating magnetic field conditions. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Microcystins (MCs), produced by freshwater cyanobacteria, can be serious water pollutants, so it is important to monitor their concentration in drinking water. We have developed a method for rapid and accurate determination of microcystin levels in environmental water, using magnetic solid‐phase extraction and high‐performance liquid chromatography with UV detection. The magnetic composite material, which was combined with cetylpyridinium chloride, was prepared by hydrothermal synthesis. The optimal extraction of microcystins in water sample was achieved by optimizing the amount of adsorbent, time of adsorption, ratio of eluting solvent, and volume of eluent. Under the optimal conditions, the limit of detection of MC‐LR was 0.001 μg/L, and the limit of quantification was 0.0028 μg/L. The limit of detection of MC‐RR was 0.001 μg/L, and the limit of quantification was 0.003 μg/L. These values are far lower than those established by the International Health Organization for the maximum concentration of microcystins in drinking water. The magnetic solid‐phase extraction adsorbent used in this method has the advantages of simple preparation, low price, and easy solid–liquid separation, and it can be used for the rapid and sensitive monitoring of trace microcystins in environmental water samples.  相似文献

A high‐performance metal oxide polymer magnetite/polyethylene glycol nanocomposite was prepared and coated in situ on the surface of the optical fiber by sol–gel technology. The magnetite nanoparticles as nanofillers were synthesized by a coprecipitation method and bonded with polyethylene glycol as a polymer. The chemically bonded coating was evaluated for the headspace solid–phase microextraction of some environmentally important volatile organic compounds from aqueous samples in combination with gas chromatography and mass spectrometry. The prepared fiber was characterized by scanning electron microscopy and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The mass ratio of nanofiller and polymer on the coating extraction efficiency, morphology, and stability were investigated. The parameters affecting the extraction efficiency, including the extraction time and temperature, the ionic strength, desorption temperature, and time were optimized. The sol–gelized fiber showed excellent chemical stability and longer lifespan. It also exhibited high extraction efficiency compared to the two types of commercial fibers. For volatile organic compounds analysis, the new fiber showed low detection limits (0.008–0.063 ng/L) and wide linearity (0.001–450 × 104 ng/L) under the optimized conditions. The repeatability (interday and intraday) and reproducibility were 4.13–10.08 and 5.98–11.61%, and 7.35–14.79%, respectively (n = 5). For real sample analysis, three types of water samples (ground, surface, and tap water) were studied.  相似文献
