In this paper, various waves in the Oregonator model are investigated in detail. The existence of planar waves(in particular, spiral waves)is rigorously proven and their linear stability is analysed. In addition, some non-planar waves in the model are also presented. 相似文献
This work presents analytical, numerical and experimental demonstrations of light diffracted through a logarithmic spiral (LS) nanoslit, which forms a type of switchable and focus‐tunable structure. Owing to a strong dependence on the incident photon spin, the proposed LS‐nanoslit converges incoming light of opposite handedness (to that of the LS‐nanoslit) into a confined subwavelength spot, while it shapes light with similar chirality into a donut‐like intensity profile. Benefitting from the varying width of the LS‐nanoslit, different incident wavelengths interfere constructively at different positions, i.e., the focal length shifts from 7.5 μm (at λ = 632.8 nm) to 10 μm (at λ = 488 nm), which opens up new opportunities for tuning and spatially separating broadband light at the micrometer scale.
Multi-mode spiral wave and its breakup in 1-d and 2-d coupled oscillatory media is studied here by theoretic analysis and numerical simulations. The analysis in 1-d system shows that the dispersion relation curve could be nonmonotonic depending on the coupling strength. It may also lead to the coexistence of different wave numbers within one system. Direct numerical observations in 1-d and 2-d systems conform to the prediction of dispersion relation analysis. Our findings indicate that the wave grouping can also be observed in oscillatory media without tip meandering and waves with negative group velocity can occur without inhomogeneity. 相似文献
Renormalization group calculations ind = 4 andd = 4 – are performed for a system of finite size. A form of mean-field theory is used which yields a rounded transition for a finite system, and this allows a sensible expansion in fluctuations. A combination of Ewald and Poisson sum techniques is used to produce explicit numerical results for the specific heat ind = 4 which, with the setting of two nonuniversal metrical factors and the fourth-order coupling constant may be compared with simulations. The numerical visibility of logarithmic corrections is investigated. The universal scaling function for the specific heat to relativeO() is also evaluated numerically. 相似文献
In this paper we systematically investigate the influence of control parameters on the competition results between spiral waves and target waves. Driving frequency f , amplitude A and injection area n of the input signals are three important parameters and the competition results between spiral waves and target waves are influenced by these three parameters remarkably. Based on these understandings we can control spiral waves effectively by suitable combination these parameters to generate faster target waves. And the effective controllable parameter regions are also studied. 相似文献
