D transitions in Tl II (n = 7) and Ga II (n = 5) are presented. These levels are filled due to the charge exchange in thermal collisions of neon ions with thallium and gallium atoms in thallium--neon and gallium--neon mixtures, respectively. The total pumping rate of all levels of a metal due to the charge exchange in the hollow-cathode discharge plasma at the operating concentrations of metal vapors was shown to be equal to the gas ionization rate. The latter is defined by the number of fast electrons and is independent of the charge-exchange cross section. The exciting and deexciting collisions with slow electrons and gas atoms were taken into account for all Tl II and Ga II levels related to the laser ones, and the radiation trapping by the resonance transitions of metal ions was considered. The partial pumping rates by the charge exchange were found for levels with 0 < E() < 1.5 eV. Theoretical results are compared with experimental data. The behavior of the lasing characteristics is explained for the known laser transitions. The parameters of the as yet unknown transitions in the IR range are predicted. 相似文献

The absorption and photoluminescence spectra as well as the photoluminescence lifetimes of laser dyes (Phenylamine 430, Rhodamine 6G, Rhodamine 6G zwitterion, Rhodamine 4C, and Rhodamine 101) in new matrices are studied. These matrices represent the hybrid of two types of porous glasses (microporous and sol-gel glass). Chemical transformations of the dye molecules in the matrices are not found. The dye dimers mentioned above are also absent for concentrations up to 10-4 M. The luminescence efficiencies of the dyes in the matrix and in the ethanol solutions are compared. The difference in concentration dependences of the photoluminescence spectrum of Rhodamine 6G in the matrix and ethanol solution is found and discussed. The collective emission of the dyes in new matrices is observed at a power density of exciting radiation of 1025 cm-2s-1 and a concentration of 10-4 M. The energies and collective emission spectra of the dyes in the matrix are compared with those in the solutions. 相似文献

Proteomics is a powerful tool to screen brain protein expression but the methodology is hampered by low abundance of proteins or compartmentalization or overload of high-abundance proteins. It was therefore the aim of the study to determine the expression of brain proteins by using enriched cellular subfractions and pre-electrophoretic chromatographical separation of brain homogenates. We used two-dimensional electrophoresis with subsequent matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI) detection and characterization of brain proteins. Subfractionation into cytosolic, mitochondrial and microsomal compartments was performed by ultracentrifugation. Pre-electrophoretic fractionation of the cytosolic fractions was carried out by ion exchange column chromatography. We detected and identified a large series of 437 proteins in rat brain and have shown proteins specific for the individual subcellular compartments. These proteins included housekeeping, signaling, cytoskeletal, intermediary metabolism, antioxidant proteins on the one and neuron and synaptosomal specific proteins on the other hand. Using fractionations of brain homogenates we were able to improve the power of the method on forming the basis for brain protein expressional studies and providing a reference map as a powerful tool for the neuroscientist. 相似文献

The transient flow field in the standard 20-liter explosion sphere was investigated by means of laser Doppler anemometry.
Velocities were measured at various locations within the flow field, and this information was used to quantify the transient
behavior of the root-mean-square of the velocity fluctuations and to investigate the spatial homogeneity and the directional
isotropy of the turbulence. The investigation involved the transient flow fields generated by the three most widely used dust
dispersion systems, namely, the Perforated Dispersion Ring, the Rebound Nozzle, and the Dahoe Nozzle. With all three dispersion
dust devices, the decay of turbulence could be correlated by a decay law of the form
It was found that no formal cube-root-law agreement exists between the 20-liter explosion sphere and the 1-m3 vessel. The results of this work also call into question the widely held belief that the cube-root-law is a valid scaling
relationship between dust explosion severities measured in laboratory test vessels and the severity of industrial dust explosions.

Mixed vanadium oxide thin films, as VO2 for the main composition are materials for uncooled microbolometer due to their high temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) at room temperature. This paper describes the design and fabrication of 8-element linear array IR uncooled microbolometers using the films and micromachining technology. The characteristics of the array is investigated in the spectral region of 8–12 m. The fabricated detectors exhibit responsivity of up to 10 KV/W, typical detectivity of 1.89×108 cmHz1/2/W, and thermal time constant of 11 ms, at 296 K and at a frequency of 30 Hz. Furthermore, The uncorrected response uniformity of the linear array bolometers is less than 20%. 相似文献
