Dalian Coherent Light Source will use a 300 MeV LINAC to produce fully coherent photon pulses in the wavelength range between 150–50 nm by high gain harmonic generation free electron laser(FEL)scheme.To generate stable FEL pulses,a stringent tolerance budget is required for the LINAC output parameters,such as the mean beam energy stability,electron bunch arrival time jitter,peak current variation and the transverse beam position ofset.In order to provide guidance for the design of the Dalian Coherent Light Source,in this paper,the sensitivity of FEL pulse energy fluctuation to various error sources of the electron bunch was performed using intensive start-to-end FEL simulations.  相似文献

 研究了光阴极微波电子枪输出电荷量与驱动激光相对于微波入射相位的关系。通过对光阴极材料在光电子发射时的肖特基效应和电子束团在电子枪内的纵向加速过程分析模拟,得到了电子枪输出电荷量与激光入射相位的一段线性关系,设计了利用此关系测量驱动激光脉冲相对于微波相位的时间抖动的实验方案。结果表明,这种测量方法可以分辨1.15fs的时间抖动,误差为0.23fs。  相似文献

In this paper, a theoretical model is proposed for the analysis of timing jitter induced by intrachannel interactions in optical fiber communication systems using chirped fiber grating (CFG) as dispersion compensator. And for the first time, the impact of group-delay ripple (GDR) on timing jitter is taken into account in detail, theoretically and numerically. Results show that the GDR may increase or decrease the timing jitter of certain pair of adjacent pulses, deciding by the ripple parameters. The maximum influence will be obtained when ripple period is about 2/5 of the input pulse width. In practical systems, the GDR enhance the timing jitter for some adjacent pulses while reduce it for some other adjacent pulses, depending on the pulse pattern and the GDR parameters. In our simulation, the GDR guarantees a 3.04 ps increase of the standard deviation of the timing jitter.  相似文献

Cascading stages of high gain harmonic generation free electron laser (FEL) seem to be a feasible way to generate short wavelength radiation. With help of the analytical estimates, we design a two-stage cascading scheme to achieve 131 nm DUV radiation on the basis of the Shanghai deep ultraviolet free electron laser test facility. Detailed studies on the FEL performance, the stability and the sensitivity of the output power to parameter variation have been achieved by GENESIS1.3, and design of the lattice structure is presented.  相似文献

随着系统电路工作频率的不断越高,在应用中对系统互连和电路间的时钟提出了更高的要求。针对在某信号处理系统的设计中,在测试中偶尔出现SRIO链路异常问题,对高速时钟的参数进行了深入分析,发现了时钟信号受到热噪声的影响引起时钟抖动,会导致SRIO链路断开。提出了增加时钟信号的过渡斜率的优化方案,改善了时钟信号的品质,试验证明系统工作稳定可靠,达到了预期效果。  相似文献

In order to achieve high linear density recording, a narrow transition width or small transition parameter, a, is imperative. Reducing the grain size improves transition jitter and also reduces the transition width. The correlation between transition width and transition jitter was examined. The observed discrepancy from simple, analytical expressions introduces more realistic magnetization transitions with island magnetization reversals. It was found that island reversals increase the transition width, rather than the transition jitter, which must be suppressed to attain high linear density.  相似文献

 建立了精确的激光触发沿面闪络试验系统,用波长1 064/532 nm,调Q开关的Nd:YAG固体激光器来触发绝缘试品的沿面闪络。分别测量了Marx发生器的触发器输入电压和输出电压、Marx发生器的触发脉冲和Marx发生器输出电压、激光器的Q开关控制信号和输出激光脉冲之间的时延和抖动。应用自制的数字脉冲发生器控制Marx发生器的触发器及激光器的氙灯信号触发,用Marx发生器输出电压控制激光器的Q开关;根据所测时延和激光器的控制时序,调整数字脉冲发生器各通道的时延。实验结果显示:Marx输出电压与激光脉冲时延516.1 ns,抖动4.5 ns,达到激光脉冲与脉冲电压的精确同步。  相似文献

We present a novel system design that can generate the optimized wavelength-tunable optical pulse streams from an uncooled gain-switched Fabry–Perot semiconductor laser using an optical amplifier as external light source. The timing jitter of gain-switched laser has been reduced from about 3 ps to 600 fs and the pulse width has been optimized by using our system. The stability of the system was also experimentally investigated. Our results show that an uncooled gain-switched FP laser system can feasibly produce the stable optical pulse trains with pulse width of 18 ps at the repetition frequency of 5 GHz during 7 h continuous working. We respectively proved the system feasibility under 1 GHz, 2.5 GHz and 5 GHz operation.  相似文献

Simulations for data formats Return to Zero (RZ), Non-Return to Zero (NRZ), RZ-Soliton, Duobinary and their subcategories have been done with and without ideal dispersion compensation for optical communication systems. The results show that, in general, dispersion compensation improves timing jitter. RZ-Rectangular pulses show the smallest value of jitter without compensation. It has been observed that the RZ-Raised Cosine, and Soliton, give minimum jitter after ideal compensation. It has been reported that the BER performance of optical communication system using Duobinary data format is 10−8 and 10−37 before and after dispersion compensation, respectively. Further the comparative study shows that the timing jitter is the lowest in case of RZ-Soliton (0.0127 ns) after dispersion compensation and 0.0135 ns for RZ-Rectangular data format before dispersion compensation.  相似文献
