In this work we study connections between various asymptotic properties of the nonlinear filter. It is assumed that the signal has a unique invariant probability measure. The key property of interest is expressed in terms of a relationship between the observation σ field and the tail σ field of the signal, in the stationary filtering problem. This property can be viewed as the permissibility of the interchange of the order of the operations of maximum and countable intersection for certain σ-fields. Under suitable conditions, it is shown that the above property is equivalent to various desirable properties of the filter such as
- (a) uniqueness of invariant measure for the signal,
- (b) uniqueness of invariant measure for the pair (signal, filter),
- (c) a finite memory property of the filter,
- (d) a property of finite time dependence between the signal and observation σ fields and
- (e) asymptotic stability of the filter.

This paper deals with the class of continuous-time linear systems with Markovian jumps and multiple time delays. The systems that we are treating are assumed to have time-varying delays in their dynamics which can be different and also have uncertainties in the system parameters. The time-varying structure of the bounded uncertainties is considered. Delay-dependent conditions for stochastic stability and stochastic stabilizability and their robustness are considered. In this paper, a new class of Runge–Kutta methods is introduced. Some basic properties of this subgroup of algebraically stable methods are presented and a complete parametric representation is given. Necessary and sufficient order conditions for lower order methods as well as sufficient order conditions for higher order methods are derived yielding a significantly reduced number of conditions when compared with general Runge–Kutta methods. The problem of transformation of the front of a plane longitudinal shock wave by curvilinear interfaces of layered anisotropic elastic media with different mechanical properties is considered. To solve the nonlinear Snell equations, the approach based on a synthesis of the Newton method and the algorithm of parametric continuation of a solution is used. The cases of focusing and scattering of rays by convex and concave interfaces of layered composite media and by convex lenses are investigated. In this paper, we study the linearization of the Cauchy problem and the mixed problem for the system of Grad--Hermite moments in nonequilibrium thermodynamics in the neighborhood of the equilibrium state. Stability conditions for solutions of the Cauchy problem are proved as a generalization of the classical Hermite--Biller theorem on stable polynomials. For the mixed problem, we prove an analog of the Vishik--Lyusternik theorem on small singular perturbations of general elliptic problems. In this paper, we study the stability conditions of the MMAP[K]/G[K]/1/LCFS preemptive repeat queue. We introduce an embedded Markov chain of matrix M/G/1 type with a tree structure and identify conditions for the Markov chain to be ergodic. First, we present three conventional methods for the stability problem of the queueing system of interest. These methods are either computationally demanding or do not provide accurate information for system stability. Then we introduce a novel approach that develops two linear programs whose solutions provide sufficient conditions for stability or instability of the queueing system. The new approach is numerically efficient. The advantages and disadvantages of the methods introduced in this paper are analyzed both theoretically and numerically. 相似文献

GLOBAL ASYMPTOTIC STABILITY IN N-SPECIES NONAUTONOMOUS LOTKA-VOLTERRACOMPETITIVE SYSTEMS WITH DELAYS
A delayed n-species nonautonomous Lotka-Volterra type competitive system without dominating instantaneous negative feedback is investigated. By means of a suitable Lyapunov functional, sufficient conditions are derived for the global asymptotic stability of the positive solutions of the system. As a corollary, it is shown that the global asymptotic stability of the positive solution is maintained provided that the delayed negative feedbacks dominate other interspecific interaction effects with delays and the delays are sufficiently small. 相似文献
