In the current study, we have synthesized an imidazolium based cross-linked polymer, namely, 1-vinyl-3-ethylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide (poly[veim][Tf2N]-TRIM) using trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate as cross linker, and demonstrated its efficiency for the removal of two extensively used ionic dyes—methylene blue and orange-II—from aqueous systems. The detailed characterization of the synthesized poly[veim][Tf2N]-TRIM was performed with the help of 1H NMR, TGA, FT-IR and FE-SEM analysis. The concentration of dyes in aqueous samples before and after the adsorption process was measured using an UV-vis spectrophotometer. The process parameters were optimised, and highest adsorption was obtained at a solution pH of 7.0, adsorbent dosage of 0.75 g/L, contact time of 7 h and dye concentrations of 100 mg/L and 5.0 mg/L for methylene blue and orange-II, respectively. The adsorption kinetics for orange-II and methylene blue were well described by pseudo-first-order and pseudo–second-order models, respectively. Meanwhile, the process of adsorption was best depicted by Langmuir isotherms for both the dyes. The highest monolayer adsorption capacities for methylene blue and orange-II were found to be 1212 mg/g and 126 mg/g, respectively. Overall, the synthesized cross-linked poly[veim][Tf2N]-TRIM effectively removed the selected ionic dyes from aqueous samples and provided >90% of adsorption efficiency after four cycles of adsorption. A possible adsorption mechanism between the synthesised polymeric adsorbent and proposed dyes is presented. It is further suggested that the proposed ionic liquid polymer adsorbent could effectively remove other ionic dyes and pollutants from contaminated aqueous systems.  相似文献

Organic dyes are widely used in the textile, biological, medical and other fields. However, a serious environmental problem has appeared because of the presence of organic dyes in industrial aqueous effluents. Thus, the efficient treatment of organic dyes in industrial wastewaters is currently in real demand. The current study investigated the oxidative degradation of the organic dye gentian violet by meso-tetra(carboxyphenyl) porphyriniron(III), [FeIII(TCPP)] as a cytochrome P450 model and iodosylbenzene (PhIO) as an oxidant at room temperature. The degradation reaction was monitored by UV–vis absorption spectroscopy via the observation of UV–vis spectral changes of the gentian violet. The results showed that the efficiency of catalyzed degradation reached more than 90% in 1 h, indicating the remarkable oxidative degradation capacity of the [FeIII(TCPP)]/PhIO system, which provided an efficient approach for the treatment of dyeing wastewater.  相似文献

A boron-dipyrromethene (BODIPY) derivative reactive towards amino groups of proteins (NHS-Ph-BODIPY) was synthesized. Spectroscopic and photophysical properties of amine-reactive NHS-Ph-BODIPY and its non-reactive precursor (COOH-Ph-BODIPY) in a number of organic solvents were investigated. Both fluorescent dyes were characterized by green absorption (521–532 nm) and fluorescence (538–552 nm) and medium molar absorption coefficients (46,500–118,500 M−1·cm−1) and fluorescence quantum yields (0.32 – 0.73). Solvent polarizability and dipolarity were found to play a crucial role in solvent effects on COOH-Ph-BODIPY and NHS-Ph-BODIPY absorption and emission bands maxima. Quantum-chemical calculations were used to show why solvent polarizability and dipolarity are important as well as to understand how the nature of the substituent affects spectroscopic properties of the fluorescent dyes. NHS-Ph-BODIPY was used for fluorescent labeling of a number of proteins. Conjugation of NHS-Ph-BODIPY with bovine serum albumin (BSA) resulted in bathochromic shifts of absorption and emission bands and noticeable fluorescence quenching (about 1.5 times). It was demonstrated that the sensitivity of BSA detection with NHS-Ph-BODIPY was up to eight times higher than with Coomassie brilliant blue while the sensitivity of PII-like protein PotN (PotN) detection with NHS-Ph-BODIPY and Coomassie brilliant blue was almost the same. On the basis of the molecular docking results, the most probable binding sites of NHS-Ph-BODIPY in BSA and PotN and the corresponding binding free energies were estimated.  相似文献

Recent studies on the removal of pollutants via adsorption include the use of carbon-based adsorbents, due to their high porosity and large surface area; however, such materials lack photoactive properties. This study evaluates the synergistic effect of integrated mesoporous carbon xerogel (derived from resorcinol formaldehyde) and titanium dioxide (TiO2) for combined adsorption and photodegradation application. The complex formed between carbon xerogel and TiO2 phase was investigated through FTIR, proving the presence of a Ti-O–C chemical linkage. The physicochemical properties of the synthesised adsorbent–photocatalyst were probed using FESEM, BET analysis and UV–Vis analysis. The kinetics, equilibrium adsorption, effect of pH, and effect of adsorbent dosage were investigated. The expansion of the absorbance range to the visible range was verified, and the corresponding band gap evaluated. These properties enabled a visible light response when the system was exposed to visible light post adsorption. Hence, an assistive adsorption–photodegradation phenomenon was successfully executed. The adsorption performance exhibited 85% dye degradation which improved to 99% following photodegradation. Further experiments showed the reduction of microorganisms under visible light, where no microbial colonies were observed after treatment, indicating the potential application of these composite materials.  相似文献

In this study, a polysaccharide-based hydrogel microsphere (SFP/SA) was prepared using S. fusiforme polysaccharide (SFP) and sodium alginate (SA). Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) demonstrated that SFP was effectively loaded onto the hydrogel microsphere. Texture profile analysis (TPA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) showed that, with the increase of SFP concentration, the hardness of SFP/SA decreased, while the springiness and cohesiveness of SFP/SA increased, and the thermal stability of SFP/SA improved. The equilibrium adsorption capacity of SFP/SA increased from 8.20 mg/g (without SFP) to 67.95 mg/g (SFP accounted 80%) without swelling, and from 35.05 mg/g (without SFP) to 81.98 mg/g (SFP accounted 80%) after 24 h swelling. The adsorption of crystal violet (CV) dye by SFP/SA followed pseudo-first order and pseudo-second order kinetics (both with R2 > 0.99). The diffusion of intraparticle in CV dye was not the only influencing factor. Moreover, the adsorption of CV dye for SFP/SA (SFP accounted 60%) fit the Langmuir and Temkin isotherm models. SFP/SA exhibited good regenerative adsorption capacity. Its adsorption rate remained at > 97% at the 10th consecutive cycle while SFP accounted for 80%. The results showed that the addition of Sargassum fusiforme polysaccharide could increase the springiness, cohesiveness and thermal stability of the hydrogel microsphere, as well as improve the adsorption capacity of crystal violet dye.  相似文献

The present work describes the preparation and characterization of a new cobalt(III) porphyrin coordination compound named (chlorido)(nicotinoylchloride)[meso-tetra(para-chlorophenyl)porphyrinato]cobalt(III) dichloromethane monosolvate with the formula [CoIII(TClPP)Cl(NTC)]·CH2Cl2 (4). The single-crystal X-ray molecular structure of 4 shows very important ruffling and waving distortions of the porphyrin macrocycle. The Soret and Q absorption bands of 4 are very red-shifted as a consequence of the very distorted porphyrin core. This coordination compound was also studied by fluorescence and cyclic voltammetry. The efficiency of our four porphyrinic compounds—the H2TClPP (1) free-base porphyrin, the [CoII(TClPP)] (2) and [CoIII(TClPP)Cl] (3) starting materials, and the new Co(III) metalloporphyrin [CoIII(TClPP)Cl(NTC)]·CH2Cl2 (4)—as catalysts in the photochemical degradation was tested on malachite green (MG) dye. The current voltage of complexes 3 and 4 was also studied. Electrical parameters, including the saturation current density (Js) and barrier height (ϕb), were measured.  相似文献

为充气靶丸的精密装配提供有效的胶斑定位检测方法,研究了具有荧光特性的环氧胶黏剂,通过环氧胶黏剂与香豆素和JS-064荧光染料的相容性及荧光性的研究,探索其适用于靶丸装配和检测的添加工艺。分别测定了入射波长和适用于工艺的激发波长,研究了荧光强度与香豆素浓度的关系以及固化剂对荧光强度的影响。并确定了无水乙醇减小表面张力的工艺方法。结果表明:香豆素的激发波长为274 nm,入射波长为519 nm;荧光染料的激发波长为435 nm,适用于胶斑定位检测的激发波长为365 nm;香豆素能很好地溶于固化剂176中,有淡蓝色荧光,而荧光染料均匀分散于胶黏体系,且荧光性能良好。  相似文献

蜂窝夹层板撞击极限方程是空间碎片撞击航天器风险评估的关键技术,目前描述其预测能力的指标主要有总体、安全预测正确率和绝对、相对误差。基于131个蜂窝夹层板的实验数据,分别描述各个预测指标在方程系数空间的变化特征,并采用层次化思路进行方程预测指标提升的探讨。结果发现,进行方程优化时,预测概率型指标可精确优化,而预测误差型指标可快速优化;总体预测正确率作为首要预测指标可优先用于研究航天器的在轨防护特性,而安全预测正确率作为首要指标则可优先用于其设计安全性。

The rational design of small building block molecules and understanding their molecular assemblies are of fundamental importance in creating new stimuli-responsive organic architectures with desired shapes and functions. Based on the experimental results of light-induced conformational changes of four types of triangular azo dyes with different terminal functional groups, as well as absorption and fluorescence characteristics associated with their molecular assemblies, we report that aggregation-active emission enhancement (AIEE)-active compound (1) substituted with sterically crowded tert-butyl (t-Bu) groups showed approximately 35% light-induced molecular switching and had a strong tendency to assemble into highly stable hexagonal structures with AIEE characteristics. Their sizes were regulated from nanometer-scale hexagonal rods to micrometer-scale sticks depending on the concentration. This is in contrast to other triangular compounds with bromo (Br) and triphenylamine (TPA) substituents, which exhibited no photoisomerization and tended to form flexible fibrous structures. Moreover, non-contact exposure of the fluorescent hexagonal nanorods to ultraviolet (UV) light led to a dramatic hexagonal-to-amorphous structure transition. The resulting remarkable variations, such as in the contrast of microscopic images and fluorescence characteristics, were confirmed by various microscopic and spectroscopic measurements.  相似文献

Based on the functional properties of electrospun cellulose nanofibers(CNF), scientists are showing substantial interest to enhance the aesthetic properties. However, the lower color yield has remained a big challenge due to the higher surface area of nanofibers. In this study, we attempted to improve the color yield properties of CNF by the pad-steam dyeing method. Neat CNF was obtained by deacetylation of electrospun cellulose acetate(CA) nanofibers. Three different kinds of reactive dyes were used and pad-steam dyeing parameters were optimized. SEM images revealed smooth morphology with an increase in the average diameter of nanofibers. FTIR results showed no change in the chemical structure after dyeing of CNF. Color fastness results demonstrated excellent ratings for reactive dyes, which indicate good dye fixation properties and no color loss during the washing process. The results confirm that the pad-steam dyeing method can be potentially considered to improve the aesthetic properties of CNF, which can be utilized for functional garments, such as breathable raincoats and disposable face masks.  相似文献
