Abstract

Phosphate-based bioactive glasses and their glass ceramics for 47P2O5– (30.5)CaO–(22.5 ? x)Na2O–xZrO2 for different ZrO2 contents (x = 0, 1.5, 3.0, 4.5, and 6.0 mol%) were prepared through melt quenching and controlled heat treatment procedures. The amorphous nature of glasses and the presence of crystalline phases in glass ceramics were studied by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD) studies. The density, molar volume, ultrasonic velocities, attenuation, elastic constants, and microhardness of glass and glass ceramics were used to study the structural changes. The formation of hydroxyapatite layer on the surface of glasses and glass ceramics after immersion in simulated body fluid (SBF) was explored through XRD, Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analyses. The results indicate that the added ZrO2 increases the crosslink density of glasses, resulting in network stability, and also induces the formation of an apatite layer on the surface of glasses.

Abstract

Syntheses and structures of penta- and hexaphosphorus analogues of ferrocene have been described recently1. Unlike their simple ferrocene analogues, these complexes have further ligating potential towards other transition metal centres by virtue of the availability of the ring phosphorus lone-pair electrons that are not involved in the η5-coordination. We now describe the first examples of coordination compounds of the triphospha-ferrocene [Fe(η5-C5Me5) (η5-C2 tBu2P3]. In the ruthenium complex [Fe(η5-C5Me5)(η5-C2 tBu2P3) Ru3(CO)9] 2 two adjacent phosphorus atoms of the η5-C2 tBu2P3 ring are interlinked by a ruthenium carbonyl cluster in which all three ruthenium atoms interact with the phosphorus atoms. The tetrametallic nickel complex [Fe(η5-C5Me5)(η5-C2 tBu2P3)Ni(CO)2]2 3 represents the first example of intermolecular interlinkage of two phospha-ferrocene systems by two metal centres.  相似文献

Abstract

Six new nickel complexes of two dithiocarbamate ligands (cyfdtc = N-cyclohexyl-N- furfuryldithiocarbamate and bztpedtc = N-benzyl-N-[2-thiophenylethyl]dithiocarbamate) namely, (Ni[cyfdtc]2) (1), (Ni[bztpedtc]2) (2), (Ni[cyfdtc][NCS][PPh3]) (3), (Ni[bztpedtc] [NCS][PPh3]) (4), (Ni[cyfdtc][PPh3]2)ClO4 (5), and (Ni[bztpedtc][PPh3]2)ClO4 (6) have been prepared and characterized using IR, electronic, and NMR (1H and 13C) spectra. A single crystal X-ray structural analysis was carried out for complex 3 and showed that nickel is in a distorted square planar arrangement with the NiS2PN chromophore. The shift in νC?N of the heteroleptic complexes to higher frequencies compared with the parent complex is assigned to mesomeric delocalization of electron density from the

dithiocarbamate ligand toward the metal atom, which increases the contribution of polar thioureide form in mixed ligand complexes. Electronic spectral studies suggest square planar geometry for the complexes. In the 13C NMR spectra, the upfield shift of NCS2 carbon signal for 3 and 4 from the chemical shift value of 1 and 2 is due to effect of PPh3 on the mesomeric drift of electron density toward nickel throughout thioureide C?N bond.  相似文献

Tiourea reacts with dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylates in solventless conditions to form 1:1 adducts, which undergo a cyclization reaction to produce alkyl Z-2-(2-amino-4-oxo-1,3-thiazol-5(4H)-yliden)acetates in fairly good yields. The stereochemistry of the ethyl Z-2-(2-amino-4-oxo-1,3-thiazol-5(4H)-yliden)acetate was established by the use of X-ray single crystal structure analysis. Abstract

Bisthiocarbohydrazone derivatives of three heterocyclic ketone ligands, having a flexible coordination ability; 1, 5-bis (2-acetylthiophene) thiocarbohydrazone; 1, 5-bis (2-acetylfuran) thiocarbohydrazone; and 1, 5-bis (2-acetylpyrrole) thiocarbohydrazone were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, UV-visible, FT-IR, cyclic voltammetry, and 1H and 13C-NMR spectral studies. All bisthiocarbohydrazone exhibited the thioketone—thioenol tautomeric forms, as evidenced by IR spectral data and single crystal X-ray diffraction studies of 1, 5-bis (2-acetylfuran) thiocarbohydrazone and 1, 5–bis (2-acetylpyrrole) thiocarbohydrazone.

The crystal structure of a new organic cation cyclohexaphosphate, [4-ClC 6 H 4 CH 2 NH 3 ] 4 Li 2 P 6 O 18 .4H 2 O, is reported. It crystallizes in the triclinic system (space group P-1) with the following unit-cell parameters: a = 9.628(8), b = 12.801(9), c = 19.528(6) Å, α = 78.60(4)°, β = 83.00(5)°, β = 89.98(4)°, Z = 2, and V = 2341(3)Å 3 . The structure has been solved using direct methods and refined by least-squares analysis [R 1 = 0.043, wR 2 = 0.108]. The structure can be described as infinite anionic layers with composition of [Li 2 (P 6 O 18 )(H 2 O) 4 ] 4 ? and parallel to the ac plane. The organic groups are located in the accessible voids. The molecules are stabilized by O─H…O and N─H…O types of intermolecular hydrogen bonds in the unit cell in addition to Van der Waals forces.  相似文献

Chemical preparation, crystal structure, thermogravimetric and differential analysis, solid state 31P MAS NMR characterization, and IR spectroscopic investigations are given for a new organic cation dihydrogenmonophosphate, (2-CH3OC6H4CH2NH3)H2PO4. This compound is monoclinic C2/c, with unit cell parameters a = 27.740(8), b = 4.827(2), c = 16.435(3) Å, β = 93.79(2)°, V = 2196 (1) Å3, Z = 8, and ρ = 1.422 g · cm?3. The crystal structure has been determined and refined to R = 0.046 (Rw = 0.056), using 1,746 independent reflections with I > 3σ (I). Its atomic arrangement can be described by infinite polyanions [H2PO4] n n ?, organized in ribbons alternating with organic cations. Strong hydrogen bonds connect the different components. Electrical conductivity measurements show that the [2-CH3OC6H4CH2NH3]H2PO4 has a low ionic conductivity value at 403 K.  相似文献

The complexes were synthesised by adding a hot solution of the appropriate substituted thiourea in MeOH (Br m complexes) or DMF (I m complexes) to a solution of TeO 2 dissolved in hot conc. HCl. The structures of the resulting four-coordinate square planar complexes, cis -[TeBr 2 {( i PrNH) 2 CS} 2 ] ( 1 ), cis -[TeBr 2 {( i BuNH) 2 CS} 2 ] ( 2 ), trans -[TeI 2 {( i PrNH) 2 CS} 2 ] ( 3 ), and trans -[TeI 2 {( i BuNH) 2 CS} 2 ] ( 4 ), were studied by means of X-ray crystallographic methods. The average Te-S bond length in 1 and 2 is 2.5364 Å. The corresponding average Te-Br bond length is 2.9639 Å, reflecting the stronger trans influences of the two thioureas as compared to that of bromide. In 3 and 4 where there is no trans influence affecting the Te-ligand bonds, the average Te-S and Te-I bond lengths are 2.6926 and 2.9761 Å respectively. Tetraalkyl- or arylsubstituted thioureas alone as well as bulky disubstituted thioureas together with I m ligands seem to favor formation of trans complexes.  相似文献
