A review of different cosmological models in diverse dimensions leading to a relatively small time variation in the effective gravitational constant G is presented. Among them: the 4-dimensional (4-D) general scalar-tensor model, the multidimensional vacuum model with two curved Einstein spaces, the multidimensional model with the multicomponent anisotropic “perfect fluid”, the S-brane model with scalar fields and two form fields, etc. It is shown that there exist different possible ways of explaining relatively small time variations of the effective gravitational constant G compatible with present cosmological data (e.g. acceleration): 4-dimensional scalar-tensor theories or multidimensional cosmological models with different matter sources. The experimental bounds on Ġ may be satisfied either in some restricted interval or for all allowed values of the synchronous time variable.   相似文献

InN=2 super Yang-Mills theory, the Matone's relation relates instanton corrections of the prepotential to instanton corrections of scalar field condensation <
Trφ2>. This relation has been proved to hold for Omega deformed theories too, using localization method. In this paper, we first give a case study supporting the relation, which does not rely on the localization technique. Especially, we show that the magnetic expansion also satisfies a relation of Matone's type. Then we discuss implication of the relation for the spectrum of periodic Toda chain, in the context of recently proposed Nekrasov-Shatashvili scheme.  相似文献

A close relation between gravitational waveforms and the types of trajectories in a superposed field between a pseudo-Newtonian Kerr black hole and quadrupolar halos is shown in detail. The gravitational waveforms emitted from circular, KAM tori and chaotic orbits must be periodic, quasiperiodic and stochastic, respectively. The chaotic motion can maximally enhance both the amplitudes and the energy emission rates of the waves.  相似文献

The two-dimensional flow of viscous incompressible liquid in a square cavity with a Tree boundary and differentially heated vertical sides is considered in the present work. The influence of gravitational and thermocapillary convection on temperature and velocity fields is studied in a large range of dimensionless parameters and similarity criteria using method of exponential fitting discretization. The accuracy of the Earth’s gravitational field measured from the gravity field and steady-state ocean circulation explorer(GOCE),up to 250 degrees,influenced by the radial gravity gradient V zz and three-dimensional gravity gradient V ij from the satellite gravity gradiometry(SGG) are contrastively demonstrated based on the analytical error model and numerical simulation,respectively.Firstly,the new analytical error model of the cumulative geoid height,influenced by the radial gravity gradient V zz and three-dimensional gravity gradient V ij are established,respectively.In 250 degrees,the GOCE cumulative geoid height error measured by the radial gravity gradient V zz is about 2 1/2 times higher than that measured by the three-dimensional gravity gradient V ij.Secondly,the Earth’s gravitational field from GOCE completely up to 250 degrees is recovered using the radial gravity gradient V zz and three-dimensional gravity gradient V ij by numerical simulation,respectively.The study results show that when the measurement error of the gravity gradient is 3×10 12 /s 2,the cumulative geoid height errors using the radial gravity gradient V zz and three-dimensional gravity gradient V ij are 12.319 cm and 9.295 cm at 250 degrees,respectively.The accuracy of the cumulative geoid height using the three-dimensional gravity gradient V ij is improved by 30%-40% on average compared with that using the radial gravity gradient V zz in 250 degrees.Finally,by mutual verification of the analytical error model and numerical simulation,the orders of magnitude from the accuracies of the Earth’s gravitational field recovery make no substantial differences based on the radial and three-dimensional gravity gradients,respectively.Therefore,it is feasible to develop in advance a radial cold-atom interferometric gradiometer with a measurement accuracy of 10 13 /s 2-10 15 /s 2 for precisely producing the next-generation GOCE Follow-On Earth gravity field model with a high spatial resolution.  相似文献

The lensing effect of a cosmic string is studied, and some new methods are proposed to detect the cosmic string. The technique for using jets as extended gravitational lensing probes was first explored by Kronberg.We use the “alignment-breaking parameter” ηG as a sensitive indicator of gravitational distortion by a wiggly cosmic string. Then, we applied the non-constant deflection angle to jets, and ηG of a specific jet is just related to the projected slope of the jet. At least three jets in the sample of Square Kilometer Array (SKA) would have significant signals (ηG>10°) if the wiggly infinite cosmic string existed. The distortion of elliptical object is also studied and used to do a statistical research on the directions of axes and ellipticities of galaxies. In the direction of the string, we find that galaxies appear to be more elliptical for an observer and the distribution of apparent ellipticity changes correspondingly. The ellipticity distribution of current SDSS spiral sample has the signalto-noise ratio up to 8.48 which is large enough for astronomical observations. The future survey, such as Large Synoptic Survey Telescope (LSST) and Dark Energy Survey (DES) would weaken the requirement of special geometry in the data processing. As a result, all kinds of distributions, including ellipticity axis distribution, would serve as probes to detect wiggly strings in the near future. In brief, if a wiggly cosmic string existed, these signals would be convenient to be observed with the future weak lensing survey or other surveys in the deep space. If there was no lensing signal in these distributions, it would give the upper limit of the abundance of infinite strings.  相似文献

纯引力轨道飞行器在精密导航、重力场测量以及基础科学研究等方面具有重要意义,辐射计效应是纯引力轨道验证质量的重要干扰力之一.针对内编队重力场测量系统,利用解析和数值计算相结合的方法,分析了内卫星辐射计效应与内编队系统参数的关系,并给出了适宜于工程计算的内卫星辐射计效应近似函数及其修正因子.分析可知,内卫星辐射计效应与腔体平均压力成正比,与腔体平均温度成反比;随腔体温差的增加而增加,随外卫星腔体半径的增加存在极小值,并且取极小值时外卫星腔体半径和内卫星半径比为常数1.189 4,这一常数是由内外卫星的球形腔体构型决定的,与腔体内温度和压力无关.当内外卫星半径比大于10时,可认为外卫星腔体充分大,此时内卫星辐射计效应与内卫星半径的平方近似成正比,随外卫星腔体半径的变化可忽略.  相似文献

A preliminary estimation of gravitational waves (GWs) from the extreme-mass-ratio-inspirals (EMRIs) system in the Galactic Centre (GC) is given for the 37 observed S-stars revolving around the supermassive black hole (SMBH) at Sagittarius (Sgr) A*. Within this century, the total strain of the gravitational waveform calculated from the post-Newtonian (PN) method with eccentricity is well below the current planned sensitivity of pulsar-timing-array (PTA). New technology might be required in order to extract GW signal from this EMRIs system for future PTA detections.  相似文献
