In the context of the covariant teleparallel framework,we use the 2-form translational momentum to compute the total energy of two general spherically symmetric frames.The first one is characterized by an arbitrary function H(r),which preserves the spherical symmetry and reproduces all the previous solutions,while the other one is characterized by a parameter ξ which ensures the vanishing of the axial of trace of the torsion.We calculate the total energy by using two procedures,i.e.,when the Weitzenbo¨ck connection Γ_α~β is trivial,and show how H(r) and ξ play the role of an inertia that leads the total energy to be unphysical.Therefore,we take into account Γ_α~β and show that although the spacetimes we use contain an arbitrary function and one parameter,they have no effect on the form of the total energy and momentum as it should be.  相似文献

General relativity has a geometric and a field interpretation. If angular momentum conservation is invoked in the geometric interpretation to explain experiments, the causality principle is violated. The field interpretation avoids this problem by allowing faster-than-light propagation of gravity in forward time. All existing experiments are in agreement with that interpretation. This implies the existence of real superluminal propagation and communication of particles and fields, free of causality problems. The introduction of real physical faster-than-light propagation into gravitation, electrodynamics and quantum theory has important consequences for physics.  相似文献

A 5D SU(7) family unification model with two spinor representations of SO(14) is presented. The fifth dimension is compactified on S1/Z2×Z2′. The orbifolding is used to obtain 4D SO(10) chiral fermions. The 4D grand unification group is the flipped SU(5)×U(1). The doublet–triplet splitting through the missing partner mechanism is achieved. Based on the vector graviton metric theory of gravitation (VGM) suggested by one of the authors of this article, using the method of null tetrad and analytic continuation, this paper gives the metric of the rotating charged spherical mass in VGM. The result shows once again that a replacement of G by G*= G(1 - G M / 2r ) in general relativity will yield the corresponding result in VGM for the metric in vacuum.  相似文献

A theory has been presented previously in which the geometrical structure of a real four-dimensional space time manifold is expressed by a real orthonormal tetrad, and the group of diffeomorphisms is replaced by a larger group. The group enlargement was accomplished by including those transformations to anholonomic coordinates under which conservation laws are covariant statements. Field equations have been obtained from a variational principle which is invariant under the larger group. These field equations imply the validity of the Einstein equations of general relativity with a stress-energy tensor that is just what one expects for the electroweak field and associated currents. In this paper, as a first step toward quantization, a consistent Hamiltonian for the theory is obtained. Some concluding remarks are given concerning the need for further development of the theory. These remarks include discussion of a possible method for extending the theory to include the strong interaction.  相似文献
