In a recent paper, O. Costa de Beauregard shows that Mach's conjecture can be expressed by the equation U=c
2 (U denoting the cosmological potential). This result leads us to a geometrical interpretation of Einstein's constant c (the so-called velocity of light) which appears as intimately connected to the expansion of the universe. We also present some cosmological consequences of that interpretation for the horizon problem, for the problem of the homogeneity of the cosmic background radiation, and for the problem of the flatness of the universe. 相似文献

In this work, we explore some cosmological implications of the model proposed by M. Visser in 1998. In his approach, Visser intends to take into account mass for the graviton by means of an additional bimetric tensor in the Einstein?s field equations. Our study has shown that a consistent cosmological model arises from the Visser?s approach. The most interesting feature is that an accelerated expansion phase naturally emerges from the cosmological model, and we do not need to postulate any kind of dark energy to explain the current observational data for distant type Ia supernovae (SNIa). 相似文献

The existence of global solutions is established for compressible Navier–Stokes equations by taking into account the radiative and reactive processes, when the heat conductivity κ (κ1(1 + θq) ≤ κ ≤ κ2(1 + θq),q ≥ 0), where θ is the temperature. In this paper we classify Bianchi type VIII and IX space—times according to their teleparallel Killing vector fields in the teleparallel theory of gravitation by using a direct integration technique. It turns out that the dimensions of the teleparallel Killing vector fields are either 4 or 5. From the above study we have shown that the Killing vector fields for Bianchi type VIII and IX space—times in the context of teleparallel theory are different from that in general relativity. 相似文献
