本文采用顶部籽晶高温溶液法,以Li4P2O7为助熔剂,生长了大尺寸BaBPO5单晶.进行了BaBPO5晶体的结构测定,结果表明该晶体属三方晶系,空间群:P3221,晶胞参数为a=b=0.71329(10)nm,c=0.70368(14)nm,α=β=90°,γ=120°, Z=3.该晶体结构中沿[001]方向存在BO4四面体链,每一个硼氧四面体用它的两个顶点分别与两个PO4四面体相连组成螺旋状的链.硼氧四面体、磷氧四面体和钡氧多面体结合在一起形成一个三维网络结构.同时,对BaBPO5的粉末倍频效应进行了研究. 相似文献

This paper presents results of experiments on the oscillatory convection of mercury in a Czochralski configuration with cusp magnetic field. Temperature fluctuation measurements are carried out to determine the critical Rayleigh number for the onset of time dependent natural convection. The effects of a cusp magnetic field on the supercritical natural convection coupled with rotation of crystal disk are investigated. In the presence of a rotating flow it is found that a cusp magnetic field can induce a new long wave instability and can amplify the temperature fluctuation depending on the magnitude of the relevant flow similarity parameters and the melt aspect ratios. A flow regime diagram for the amplification and damping of the temperature fluctuations is presented to provide an experimental data base for finding optimum growth conditions in the cusp magnetic field Czochralski process. 相似文献

β-BaB2O4 (BBO) crystals with well-defined morphology have been grown from Na2O solutions using the top seeded solution growth (TSSG) method. The crystal morphology in relation to its structure and growth conditions has been studied in detail on the basis of crystallography and crystal chemistry. It is found that the morphological characteristics are related to the orientations of structural unit (B3O6)3— anion rings in the crystal. On the other hand, the growth parameters may greatly affect the appearance of faces of the crystal, but the crystals still generally take trigonal in outline and have a diagnostic character of point group 3m. The observed morphology is in disagreement with BFDH and PBC analyses and is explained from the incorporation of the growth units on the faces and facets. Since the incorporation rates of the growth units are different on different faces, the boule habits with well-defined morphology are formed. 相似文献

A facile method to control the contracting rate of the thermal expansible bars for pulling crystal is first suggested. The thermal expansible bars, set in a modified Dewar flask whose vacuum degree is controlled, are heated to designed temperature and then switch off the power to let it cool down at a desired rate, which depends largely on the changeable vacuum degree. This new approach is expected to completely eliminate the effects, which possibly reduces the smooth extent of thermal expansion, caused by the minor temperature fluctuations during crystal growth process and to realize the utmost smooth and slow pulling rate. It is expected to install this apparatus in optical floating zone furnace, instead of traditional motor, to grow peritectic crystal, such as crystal Bi‐2223, since for the peritectic reaction, in principle, the extremely slow growing rate is considerably essential. 相似文献

Zinc oxide (ZnO) nanorod arrays made by the hydrothermal method were treated with hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) solution through two different approaches. One is to immerse ZnO nanorod sample into H2O2 solution. The other is a pre-treatment of spin-coating H2O2 solution on the seed layer before the growth of the ZnO nanorods. In the first approach, we found that the ultraviolet (UV) emission peak of the ZnO nanorod photoluminescence (PL) spectra was strongly dependent on the immersion time. In the second approach, the H2O2 solution influences not only the quality of the seed layer, but also the amount of the oxygen interstitial defects in the ZnO nanorods grown thereon. As a result, the UV emission intensity from the ZnO nanorods is enhanced almost five times. The ZnO nanorod arrays with few oxygen interstitial defects are prepared by the hydrogen peroxide treatment and expected to enable the fabrication of optoelectronic device with excellent performance. 相似文献

The applicability of the edge-defined film-fed growth (EFG) technique for YbxY(1−x)VO4 (x=0.05, 0.1 and 1) was approved by successful growth of crystals up to 80 mm in length as the thin plates. Low-angle grain boundaries and the crystal coloration as main defects were found. Optimal seed orientation was suggested on the strength of vanadate crystal plate morphology. The surface tension driven‐flow in BaB2O4 (BBO) melt‐solution is visualized by differential interference microscope coupled with Schlieren technique, and the streamline of the steady thermocapillary convection is found to be in form of an axially symmetric pattern. Based on the observation of BBO crystal rotation caused by the convective vortex, the widths of interfacial concentration, heat and momentum boundary layer are calculated. The effect of thermocapillary convection on boundary layer thickness is also investigated. Zirconium‐doped KTiOPO4 (KTP) crystals were grown using a high temperature flux method in the K2O‐P2O5‐TiO2‐ZrF4 system. The dopant content in the single crystals with general composition KTi1‐xZrxOPO4 (where x = 0 – 0.026) strongly depends on zirconium concentration in the homogeneous melts. AES‐ICP method and X‐ray fluorescence analysis were used to determine the composition of the obtained crystals. Phase analyses of the products were performed using the powder XRD. The structures of KTiOPO4 containing different quantities of Zr were refined on the basis of single crystal XRD data. Applying ZrF4 precursor for zirconium injection into the flux allowed growing the zirconium‐doped KTP crystals at 930–750°C. (© 2008 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim) 相似文献
