A novel periodic boundary condition (PBC), that is the constant transverse wavenumber (CTW) method, is introduced to solve the time delay in the transverse plane with oblique incidence. Based on the novel PBC, the FDTD/PBC algorithm is proposed to study periodic structure consisting of plasma and vacuum. Then the reflection coefficient for the plasma slab from the FDTD/PBC algorithm is compared with the analytic results to show the validity of our technique. Finally, the reflection coefficients for the plasma photonic crystals are calculated using the FDTD/PBC algorithm to study the variation of bandgap characteristics with the incident angle and the plasma parameters. 基于密度泛函理论方法,本文开展了氦掺杂AlΣ3((111)/180°)晶界数值模拟拉伸试验.计算结果表明,He在晶界中最低杂质形成能为2.942 eV,偏析到晶界的偏析能为0.085 eV;在拉伸条件下,清洁Σ3晶界的理论拉伸强度为9.65 GPa,拉伸断裂从晶界界面开始;而He掺杂后,晶界的理论拉伸强度下降到7.14 GPa,在断裂发生前应力曲线中出现平台效应,拉伸断裂从包含He杂质的界面开始.通过对比键长和电荷密度分布,本文认为He的满壳层电子结构一方面导致了He与Al之间

Self-forming core/shell nanoparticles of magnetic metal/oxide with crystalline grain size of less than 40 nm were synthesized. The nanoparticles were highly concentrated in an insulating matrix to fabricate a nanocomposite, whose magnetic properties were investigated. The crystalline grain size of the nanoparticles strongly influenced the magnetic anisotropy field, magnetic coercivity, relative permeability, and loss factor (tan δ=μ″/μ′) at high frequency. The packing ratio of the magnetic metallic phase in the nanocomposite also influenced those properties. High permeability with low tan δ of less than 1.5% at up to 1 GHz was obtained in the case of the nanoparticles with crystalline grain size of around 15 nm with large packing ratio of the nanoparticles. 相似文献

We consider the finite temperature Casimir effect of a massive fermionic field confined between two parallel plates, with MIT bag boundary conditions on the plates. The background spacetime is Mp+1×Tq which has q dimensions compactified to a torus. On the compact dimensions, the field is assumed to satisfy periodicity boundary conditions with arbitrary phases. Both the high temperature and the low temperature expansions of the Casimir free energy and the force are derived explicitly. It is found that the Casimir force acting on the plates is always attractive at any temperature regardless of the boundary conditions assumed on the compact torus. The asymptotic limits of the Casimir force in the small plate separation limit are also obtained. 相似文献

Interfacial energy is a fundamental physiochemical property of any multi-phase system. Among the most direct approaches for determining solid–liquid interfacial energy is a technique based on measuring the shape of grain boundary grooves in specimens subjected to a linear temperature gradient. This technique was adapted to crystallizing colloids in a gravitational field. Such colloids exhibit a freezing–melting phase transition and are important not only as self-assembling precursors to photonic crystals, but also as physical models of atomic and molecular systems. The grain boundary groove technique was tested using suspensions of sterically stabilized poly(methyl methacrylate) spheres, which have been shown to closely approximate the hard sphere potential. Whereas isotropic models did not fit grain boundary groove data well, the capillary vector model, which is suitable for both isotropic and anisotropic surface energies, produced γ110?=?0.58?±?0.05 k B T/σ2. This value of interfacial energy is in agreement with many of the published values for hard spheres, supporting the validity of our grain boundary groove technique adaptations to colloidal systems in a gravitational field. Finally, kinks observed in groove profiles suggest a minimum anisotropy parameter of ε?=?0.029 for hard spheres. 相似文献

With decreasing grain size, grain boundary junctions become increasingly important for microstructure evolution. We show that the effect of a limited mobility of triple junctions on the growth rate of polycrystals can be implemented in theories of three-dimensional (3D) grain growth. Respective analytical relations are derived on the basis of the average n-hedra approach introduced by Glicksman to describe the volume rate of change of 3D grains in a polycrystalline aggregate under the impact of a limited triple junction mobility.
