Luminescent Properties of a Polymer Photoluminescent Composite Containing the Binuclear (EU,TB) Complex as an Emitter

Uninuclear europium (Eu), as well as binuclear Eu and terbium (Tb), complexes were synthesized using acrylic acid (AA) as the first ligand and 1,10-phenanthroline (Phen) as the second ligand. The relative weight ratio of the europium (III) (Eu³⁺) to terbium (III) (Tb³⁺) ions of the binuclear complex was 1:1 as determined via energy dispersive X-ray analysis. The structures of the Eu(AA)₃Phen and Eu_0.5Tb_0.5(AA)₃Phen complexes were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. A series of tri-cellulose acetate (TCA)/ the Eu(AA)₃Phen and TCA/Eu_0.5Tb_0.5(AA)₃Phen composites were prepared by solution blending, and their luminescent properties were investigated by fluorescence spectrophotometry. The excitation spectra of all composites indicated that the TCA matrix probably affected the energy absorption and transfer of organic ligands. In TCA/Eu_0.5Tb_0.5(AA)₃Phen composites the introduced Tb³⁺ ions had some influence on energy absorption and transfer of organic ligands; the energy transfer process of the complex is suggested to be as follows: Phen→AA→Tb³⁺ion→Eu³⁺ion. The emission spectra indicated that the luminescent intensity of the TCA/Eu_0.5Tb_0.5(AA)₃Phen composites was noticeably stronger than that of the TCA/Eu(AA)₃Phen composites, suggesting that the comparatively stable and high-efficiency energy transfer process was only slightly influenced by the TCA matrix. In summary, the TCA/Eu_0.5Tb_0.5(AA)₃Phen (90/10) composite possesses fine luminescent properties for potential usage as red fluorescent materials.     

神经元电生理学等效电路模型及参数特性研究

从考虑神经元轴突朗飞结的电缆模型入手,根据脑磁图和电磁场理论的“场路一致性”原理,讨论了应该从著名的Hodgkin-Huxley一阶静态等效电路扩展为二阶动态电路的合理性和必要性,并通过具体的计算实例进一步研究电生理学材料参数膜电容C 和电感L的频率特性,实验结果表明,有髓神经元纤维轴向信号传递速度越快,其电容和电感值就越小.     

Indentation studies on 〈1 0 0〉, 〈0 0 1〉 and 〈1 0 1〉 face of ammonium dihydrogen phosphate (ADP) single crystals: A novel nonlinear optical material

In the present work, Vickers microhardness measurements were carried out on different faces i.e. (1 0 0), (0 0 1) and (1 0 1) of ammonium dihydrogen phosphate (ADP) single crystals grown by slow evaporation solution technique at room temperature in the load ranging from 0.2 to 2 N. The obtained results show that the load independent hardness values are 0.8, 0.7 and 0.66 GPa, respectively at different faces of ADP crystal. From the crack length measurements, the fracture toughness values (K_c) was estimated using Evans and Anstis model and the present studies suggest that Evans model is more relevant when compared to Anstis model. The load variation of some mechanical properties viz. brittle index number (B_i) and yield strength (σ_y) for ADP have also been calculated for the first time.     

Synthesis,growth and characterization of non-linear optical material: l-Tryptophan p-nitrophenol (LTPNP) single crystal

A new nonlinear optical organic crystal l-tryptophan p-nitrophenol (LTPNP) of dimension 19 mm × 2 mm × 1.5 mm has been grown from an aqueous solution for the first time by slow evaporation technique at ambient temperature. The crystal structure of LTPNP was confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction. LTPNP crystallizes in non-centrosymmetric monoclinic system with space group P₂₁. The recorded FTIR spectrum confirms the presence of various functional groups in the grown crystal and confirms the formation of LTPNP. Thermal stability and melting temperature of the LTPNP crystal were identified from TG/DTA analysis. The optical absorption study confirms the suitability of the crystal for device applications. LTPNP exhibits SHG efficiency over 1.7 orders of magnitude higher than that of urea and 4 orders of magnitude higher than that of KDP.     

基于三维简并四波混频的PDT光敏剂HA瞬态光栅特性研究

竹红菌甲素(hypocrellin A,HA)具有丰富的激发态特性,有可能在新型光动力疗法(PDT)光敏剂、激光染料和新型光电器件方面有一定的应用前景。利用瞬态光栅技术研究了竹红菌甲素分别在不同极性和粘度溶剂中以及溶剂本身的瞬态光栅特性,把其瞬态光栅的超快过程归结为竹红菌甲素质子转移形成的过渡态TS*的衰减,得出过渡态TS*瞬态光栅的寿命为10.5 ps。竹红菌甲素分子的质子转移过渡态TS*瞬态光栅寿命不受溶剂极性和粘度的影响。     

拉曼光谱数据库及信息查询系统

随着拉曼光谱议的不断发展,尤其是便携式拉曼光谱仪的普及,与其配套的各种拉曼数据库的建立是十分重要的。目前大多数实验室都依赖进口仪器及其相应的数据库。因此建立我国自己的拉曼数据库具有重要的意义。本文采用目前最先进的数据库软件平台,构建了大型拉曼光谱数据库。本数据库包括宝玉石及其填充物、原生矿物、毒品,农药,打印复印墨迹、化学药剂等数个子数据库,总计有数千条图谱及数据信息。可以通过中文名称、英文名称、化学式、特征峰等多种方式进行查询。系统具有智能化的信息查询模块,并且支持模糊查询。根据最强的三个特征峰值进行搜索,是其区别其他数据库的显著特点。在特征峰搜索模式中,通过依次输入拉曼图谱中的最强特征峰值,经过几次比对和确认可以显示出满足搜索条件的图谱,最终逼近真实结果。操作人员只需经过简单的培训,使用较低硬件配置的计算机,就能够在几秒钟内根据实际测得拉曼图谱,从数据库中查找出与其匹配的信息,从而快速准确的鉴定出其构成与或所属矿物。本数据库在功能上可以不断扩展,包含的数据信息可以不断扩充。该数据库可广泛应用于公安法学,宝玉石真伪,化学分析等各种物相鉴定领域。     

Guided surface modes in a hollow slab waveguide with a left-handed material substrate or cover

The structural dispersion characteristics of guided surface modes in a hollow slab waveguide with a left-handed material substrate or cover are investigated. Dispersion relation is derived by using normalized parameters, and universal dispersion curves have been obtained analytically, by solving transcendental dispersion equations in a reverse way. Existence condition, mode degeneracy and other dispersion properties of guided surface modes have been discussed for different ? or μ of three layers for this substrate or cover layer.     

Nanoporous silicon flakes as anode active material for lithium-ion batteries

Nanoporous-silicon (np-Si) flakes were prepared using a combination of an electrochemical etching process and an ultra-sonication treatment and the electrochemical properties were studied as an anode active material for rechargeable lithium-ion batteries (LIBs). This fabrication method is a simple, reproducible, and cost effective way to make high-performance Si-based anode active materials in LIBs. The anode based on np-Si flakes exhibited a higher performances (lower capacity fade rate, stability and excellent rate capability at high C-rate) than the anode based on Si nanowires. The excellent performance of the np-Si flake anode was attributed to the hollowness (nanoporous structure) of the anode active material, which allowed it to accommodate a large volume change during cycling.     

Microwave-assisted synthesis of SrFe12O19 hexaferrites

Ultra-fine and homogeneous SrFe₁₂O₁₉ hexaferrites were synthesized by a microwave-assisted calcination route. The calcined precursors were prepared by a sol-gel auto-combustion method using Fe(NO₃)₃·9H₂O, Sr(NO₃)₂ and citric acid as starting materials. The structures, powder morphology and magnetic properties of the products were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscope and vibrating sample magnetometer. The results showed that microwaves are helpful to reduce the calcination temperature and shorten the calcination time. The ferrites with saturation magnetization, remanence and intrinsic coercivity of 54.80 emu/g, 29.52 emu/g and 5261 Oe, respectively, were obtained in samples calcined at 800 °C for 80 min.
