The infrared and visible cooperative emissions of ytterbium ions are studied in Yb-doped NdVO4 single crystals. The absorption of optical phonons allows the emissions at room temperature when a Nd:YAG laser is used. Low temperature emissions are observed due to the Nd3+→Yb3+ energy transfer following an argon ion laser excitation of the Nd3+ ions. Analysis of the cooperative emission at low doping concentration (1%) indicates that it is generated by distant pair forming Yb3+ ions while at high doping concentration (≥ 5%) close ions magnetically coupled and superexchange mechanisms prevail in the emitting process.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The structural, electronic, and magnetic properties of materials under high pressure are of fundamental interest in physics, chemistry, materials science, and earth sciences. Among several hard X-ray-based techniques, X-ray emission spectroscopy (XES) provides a powerful tool to probe element-specific information for understanding the electronic and magnetic properties of materials under high pressure. Here, we discuss on the particular requirements and instrumentation used in high pressure XES experiments. We then present several examples to illustrate the recent progress in high pressure XES studies at the Advanced Photon Source, followed by an outlook toward future development in high pressure XES.  相似文献

3-cube-based Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET) microscopy, a sensitized acceptor FRET quantification method, has been widely used to visualize dynamic protein–protein interaction in living cells. Determining the FRET sensitized-quenching transition factor (G factor) of a particular donor-acceptor pair and optical system is crucial for 3-cube FRET quantification. We here improved the acceptor photobleaching-based G factor determination method (termed as mPb-G) and the two-plasmid-based G factor determination method (termed as mTP-G) for rapid and reliable measurement of the G factor. mTP-G method determines G factor by simultaneously detecting three images of cells exclusively expressing each of two tandem constructs with multiple donors and multiple acceptors. This method circumvents switchover of the cells exclusively expressing each of the two constructs. mPb-G method images G factor by detecting three images of cells expressing a donor-acceptor tandem FRET construct before and after partially photobleaching acceptor. We performed the two methods on our dual-channel wide-field FRET microscope to obtain reliable G factor, and also measured the FRET efficiency and acceptor-to-donor concentration ratio of tandem constructs with different acceptor-donor stoichiometries in living HepG2 cells. mTP-G and mPb-G methods provide two simple and reliable tools for determining the G factor, in turn, quantitatively measuring FRET signal and monitoring dynamic biochemical processes in living cells.  相似文献

运用三维荧光光谱技术对污泥LB-EPS和TB-EPS的荧光特性进行了研究.实验结果表明,在污泥LB-EPS和TB-EPS中都有三个明显的荧光峰,分别为Peak B(λex/λem=270~280 nm/345~360 nm),Peak C(λex/λem=330~340 nm/410~430 am)和Peak D(λex/λem=390 nm/450~470 nm).其中Peak B为类蛋白荧光(Protein-like)、Peak C为可见区类富里酸荧光(Visible fulvic-like)、Peak D为类腐殖酸荧光(Humic-like).从各荧光峰的荧光强度来分析,LB-EPS和TB-EPS中的主要成分都为类蛋白,然后依次为富里酸和腐殖酸.浓度和pH值对污泥LB-EPS和TB-EPS的三维荧光特性都有很大的影响,但影响程度略有区别,表明作为外层的胞外聚合物,LB-EPS表现出与TB-EPS不全相同的化学结构.  相似文献

The unified fission model (UFM) combining with the phenomenological assault frequency has been carried out to investigate the proton-radioactivity half-lives of spherical proton emitters. The results are in good agreement with the experimental data and other theoretical values, and newly observed spherical proton emitters have been analyzed. Finally, the effect of angular momentum transfer on half-life of proton emission has been discussed in detail and a formula can be used to describe this relationship.  相似文献

The Fourier-transform infrared emission spectra of BO were recorded using a Bruker IFS 125 HR spectrometer. The observed spectrum of BO in the 1200-2100 cm−1 region contains three bands: the fundamental bands of 11BO and 10BO and a hot band of 11BO with band origins measured to be 1861.9242(97), 1915.3071(09) and 1838.3773(68) cm−1, respectively.  相似文献

The results of spectroscopic investigation of plane plasma discharge and sputtering processes in the triode system are presented. The forced electric discharge with currents of 1–4 A at an argon pressure of 1 mTorr was studied using the emission spectroscopy method. The spectra of plasma discharge were observed in the 200–1100 nm wavelength range. Two metal targets, gold and silver, were used for sputtering. It was found that a part of sputtered particles is ionized in plasma. The emission spectra of the ionized gold and silver species were observed as a function of target voltage while sputtering. It was shown that the number of ionized metal species depends on the energy of argon ions.  相似文献

The spectral characteristics of mini-optically pumped NH3 cavity laser emission at 67.2μm was studied. It was found that the spectrum of 67.2μm emission was duality. With low power CO2-9R(30) pumping condition (lp<1MW/cm2), the spectrum appeared to be two wide FIR laser lines (∼4.6GHz for each line), which were the result of competition of multi-Raman processes. With high power pumping condition (lp>2MW/cm2), the spectrum extended to be a very wide band (∼14GHz), which was the result of the combination of the competition and interaction enhancement of Raman processes. The wide band spectral characteristics of 67.2 μm would be significant to the tuning of NH3 OPFIRL. Supported by theNatural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province, P.R. China.  相似文献

Two aggregation-induced emission (AIE) macrocycles (DMP[5]-TPE and PCP[5]-TPE) were prepared by embedding Tetraphenylethene (TPE) unit into the skeletons of Dimethoxypillar[5]arene (DMP[5]) and [15]Paracyclophane ([15]PCP) at meso position, respectively. In crystal, the PCP[5]-TPE showed a distorted cavity, and the incubation of hexane inside the DMP[5]-TPE cavity caused a distinct change in the molecular conformation compared to PCP[5]-TPE. There was no complexation between PCP[5]-TPE and 1,4-dicyanobutane (DCB). UV absorption experiments showed the distorted cavity of DMP[5]-TPE hindered association with DCB.  相似文献
