提出了一种从二维视图识别三维目标的多网络融合方法,基于单个网络分类的置信度概念,有效地结合多个网络的输出结果作出最终分类判决,应用三个多层前向网络（隐层神经元数,初始权值等取不同值）,设计了基于分类确认度的多网络融合结构,对四类车辆目标进行的识别实验表明,所提出的多网络融合方法明显优于单个网络的识别性能。     

数字视频广播有线系统中的解调与信道解码

讨论了数字视频广播有线系统标准中正交幅度解调和信道解码的基本原理和具体实现方案．在专用硬件和应用软件的配合下,实现了一个数字有线接收前端系统．该系统与符合数字视频广播标准的解码系统相连接,即可组成一个数字有线电视机顶盒,通过有线电视网,该盒可接收占用频带资源少、具有演播室质量的数字电视节目．     

Synthesis of PNIPAAm-g-P4VP Microgel as Draw Agent in Forward Osmosis by RAFT Polymerization and Reverse Suspension Polymerization to Improve Water Flux

Microgels have unique and versatile properties allowing their use in forward osmosis areas as a draw agent. In this contribution, poly(4-vinylpyridine) (P4VP) was synthesized via RAFT polymerization and then grafted to a poly(N-Isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAAm) crosslinking network by reverse suspension polymerization. P4VP was successfully obtained by the quasiliving polymerization with the result of nuclear magnetic resonance and gel permeation chromatography characterization. The particle size and particle size distribution of the PNIPAAm-g-P4VP microgels containing 0, 5, 10, 15 and 20 wt% P4VP were measured by means of a laser particle size analyzer. It was found that all the microgels were of micrometer scale and the particle size was increased with the P4VP load. Inter/intra-molecular-specific interactions, i.e., hydrogen bond interactions were then investigated by Fourier infrared spectroscopy. In addition, the water flux measurements showed that all the PNIPAAm-g-P4VP microgels can draw water more effectively than a blank PNIPAAm microgel. For the copolymer microgel incorporating 20 wt% P4VP, the water flux was measured to be 7.48 L∙m⁻²∙h⁻¹.     

Mutual diffusion and thermodynamics in the blends of polystyrene and tetramethylbisphenol-A polycarbonate

A study was made of miscible polymer blends of deuterated polystyrene (d-PS) and tetramethylbisphenol-A polycarbonate (TMPC). The Flory interaction parameter χ was obtained from the relation between mutual and tracer diffusion coefficients, D? and D^*, which were measured by forward recoil spectrometry. The temperature dependence of diffusion at PS weight fractions ω of 0.25 and 0.5, and the composition dependence at temperatures 45°C above the glass transition temperature, T_g, were investigated. A stronger dependence of χ on both temperature (at ω = 0.5) and composition was observed in comparison with other miscible binary polymer blends involving PS. Analysis using the generalized lattice-fluid model of Sanchez and Balazs¹ showed that the incorporation of a significant specific interaction is needed to explain the temperature dependence of χ. The diffusion coefficients obtained in the one-phase region were extrapolated to the two-phase region, and these were compared with the effective diffusion coefficient extracted from phase separation dynamics measured by light scattering.² A significant discrepancy between the extrapolated and effective diffusion coefficients was observed. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.

Dynamical beats of forward-scattered resonant synchrotron radiation as a nuclear polariton effect

The decay of the nuclear exciton (immobile collective excitation), created by a pulse of synchrotron radiation, is analyzed. It is shown that in the later phases of the decay, the exciton becomes localized at the sample’s frontal surface. Inside the sample, the secondary gamma-quanta, emitted by the contracting exciton, are converted into polaritons (mobile nuclear excitations) characterized by different frequencies and equal group velocities. On the sample’s back surface, the polariton interference causes a beating structure of the transmitted radiation, observed in experiments.     

Limiting Connection between Discrete and Continuous Time Forward Interest Rate Curve Models

We study discrete time Heath–Jarrow–Morton (HJM) type of interest rate curve models, where the forward interest rates – in contrast to the classical HJM models – are driven by a random field. Our main aim is to investigate the relationship between the discrete time forward interest rate curve model and its continuous time counterpart. We derive a general result on the convergence of discrete time models and we give special focus on the nearly unit root spatial autoregression model.     

Laser-induced forward transfer of focussed ion beam pre-machined donors

In this paper we report femtosecond laser-induced forward transfer (LIFT) of pre-machined donor films. 1 μm thick zinc oxide (ZnO) films were first machined using the focussed ion beam (FIB) technique up to a depth of 0.8 μm. Debris-free micro-pellets of ZnO with extremely smooth edges and surface uniformity were subsequently printed from these pre-machined donors using LIFT. Printing results of non-machined ZnO donor films and films deposited on top of a polymer dynamic release layer (DRL) are also presented for comparison, indicating the superior quality of transfer achievable and utility of this pre-machining technique.
