The resistivity of a one-dimensional lattice consisting of randomly distributed conducting and insulating sites is considered. Tunneling resistance of the form 0 ne bn is assumed for a cluster ofn adjacent insulating sites. In the thermodynamic limit, the mean resistance per site diverges at the critical filling fractionp c =e–b, while the mean square resistivity fluctuations diverge at the lower filling fraction =p c 2 . Computer simulations of large but finite systems, however, show only a very weak divergence of resistivity atp c and no divergence of the fluctuations at . For finite lattices, calculation of the resistivity at the critical filling is shown to be simply related to the Petersburg problem. Analytic expressions for the resistivity and resistivity fluctuations are obtained in agreement with the results of computer simulations.  相似文献

The present paper deals with the enantiomeric separation of nuarimol enantiomers by affinity EKC-partial filling technique using HSA as chiral selector. Firstly, a study of nuarimol interactions with HSA by CE-frontal analysis was performed. The binding parameters obtained for the first site of interaction were n(1) = 0.84; K(1) = 9.7 +/- 0.3x10(3 )M(-1) and the protein binding percentage of nuarimol at physiological concentration of HSA was 75.2 +/- 0.2%. Due to the moderate affinity of nuarimol towards HSA the possibility of using this protein as chiral selector for the separation of nuarimol using the partial filling technique was evaluated. A multivariate optimization approach of the most critical experimental variables in enantioresolution, running pH, HSA concentration and plug length was carried out. Separation of nuarimol enantiomers was obtained under the following selected conditions: electrophoretic buffer composed of 50 mM Tris at pH 7.3; 160 muM HSA solution applied at 50 mbar for 156 s as chiral selector; nuarimol solutions in the range of 2-8x10(-4) M injected hydrodynamically at 30 mbar for 2 s and the electrophoretic runs performed at 30 degrees C applying 15 kV voltage. Resolution, accuracy, reproducibility speed and cost of the proposed method make it suitable for quality control of the enantiomeric composition of nuarimol in formulations and for further toxicological studies. The results showed a different affinity between nuarimol enantiomers towards HSA.  相似文献

The chiral drug ketamine has long-lasting antidepressant effects with a fast onset and is also suitable to treat patients with therapy-resistant depression. The metabolite hydroxynorketamine (HNK) plays an important role in the antidepressant mechanism of action. Hydroxylation at the cyclohexanone ring occurs at positions 4, 5, and 6 and produces a total of 12 stereoisomers. Among those, the four 6HNK stereoisomers have the strongest antidepressant effects. Capillary electrophoresis with highly sulfated γ-cyclodextrin (CD) as a chiral selector in combination with mass spectrometry (MS) was used to develop a method for the enantioselective analysis of HNK stereoisomers with a special focus on the 6HNK stereoisomers. The partial filling approach was applied in order to avoid contamination of the MS with the chiral selector. Concentration of the chiral selector and the length of the separation zone were optimized. With 5% highly sulfated γ-CD in 20 mM ammonium formate with 10% formic acid and a 75% filling the four 6HNK stereoisomers could be separated with a resolution between 0.79 and 3.17. The method was applied to analyze fractionated equine urine collected after a ketamine infusion and to screen the fractions as well as unfractionated urine for the parent drug ketamine and other metabolites, including norketamine and dehydronorketamine.  相似文献

The development of analysis and simulation of propagation characteristics of photonic crystal fiber (PCF) using scalar and fully vectorial effective index methods are described. As a result, we report how the fundamental space filling mode, guided mode and dispersion of the PCF depends on its structural parameters like its normalized air hole spacing, center-to-center spacing of the air holes in the photonic crystal or pitch and radius of the unit cell. Normalized frequency parameter Veff as a function of normalized wavelength for various relative air hole sizes is obtained to estimate the dispersion characteristics of PCF. It is observed that wavelength of zero dispersion, ultraflattened dispersion response and high negative dispersion remarkably differ from two different effective index methods.  相似文献

1.3μm emitting InAs/GaAs quantum dots(QDs) have been grown by molecular beam epitaxy and QD light emitting diodes(LEDs) have been fabricated.In the electroluminescence spectra of QD LEDs,two clear peaks corresponding to the ground state emission and the excited state emission are observed.It was found that the ground state emission could be achieved by increasing the number of QDs contained in the active region because of the state filling effect.This work demonstrates a way to control and tune the emitting wavelength of QD LEDs and lasers.  相似文献

The stress state of the surface layer of a polymeric mass during filling of bulky compression molds is analyzed. It is shown that, at particular rheological characteristics of the mass, temperature, and filling rates, cracking of the surface layer occurs, which leads to defects in the finished products. A physical analysis of this process makes it possible to conclude that the cracks arise due to the normal stresses operating in the front region of the moving polymeric mass. It is found that, under certain flow conditions, areas with a pressure lower than the atmospheric one appear on the surface of the polymer. If the tensile stresses arising in these local regions are higher than the tensile strength of the mass, the continuity of the composition is broken in the direction determined by the greatest rate of the normal deformation. To confirm the reliability of the crack-formation mechanism proposed, the distribution of the pressure and normal stresses over the free surface is calculated based on a numerical method. These calculations show that, by comparing the stress level achieved in the front region with the tensile-strength characteristics of the polymeric composition, it is possible to predict, with a sufficient accuracy, the possibility of crack formation in the surface layer of such a mass under given flow conditions and thus to solve the question on flawless manufacturing of products.  相似文献

Preparation and analysis of morphology, mechanical, and electrical properties of nanocomposites based on ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer and commercial multiwalled carbon nanotubes (CNTs) was achieved. The used techniques for obtaining nanocomposites were the conventional melt‐mixing and the in situ ethylene polymerization/coating reaction, as catalyzed directly from CNT surface, with different polyethylene content (i.e. 55.0% and 66.6%). Nanocomposites were also prepared using crude CNTs. The incorporation in the molten state of such polyethylene surface‐coated CNTs, used as “masterbatch,” in EVA was demonstrated a good strategy for allowing the complete destructuring of the native bundle‐like aggregates, leading to the preparation of polymer nanocomposites with largely improved properties, even at very low nanofiller content. 研究了镓填充二氧化硅纳米管的电子束诱导的膨胀现象, 确认微球系统中镓液体在电子束辐照下存在反常膨胀现象. 首先分析了相关的实验过程和现象, 指出此膨胀过程可以视为准静态过程; 然后根据傅里叶热传导定律, 在准静态热力学的框架下定量讨论了该系统在电子束辐 照下微球中镓液体相对体积随温度变化规律, 进一步确定系统的相对膨胀率和系统的膨胀系数, 发现反常膨胀系数是正常热膨胀系数的5-9倍. 最后指出这种反常膨胀是由系统的电离效应和残存效应共同引起的, 两者造成系统的粒子数密度急剧增加, 从而导致系统的内部压强急剧增加, 产生体积反常膨胀.  相似文献
