Dilute-nitride InAs bulk materials with up to 2.25% of nitrogen were grown by molecular beam epitaxy on InAs substrates. Photoluminescence (PL) and optical absorption measurements demonstrate a bandgap reduction by up to 150 meV with increasing nitrogen incorporation. Close correspondence of the energies of the photoluminescence peak and absorption edges indicate limited Moss–Burstein shift. Minority carrier lifetimes in the nanosecond range are measured using an ultra-fast PL up-conversion technique for the samples with up to 2% of nitrogen. Orders of magnitude advance of the carrier relaxation lifetimes as compared to GaSbN encourage development of the InAsN as a potential material for mid-IR detector applications.  相似文献

We have developed spectral signal processing methods for passive acoustic anomaly detection in nuclear power plants. Furthermore, we compared the developed and existing methods by applying them to stationary sounds recorded in a controlled environment. Our new methods show significant improvement, in particular concerning robustness against false alarms. The results also demonstrate that clear detection of a given sound at a given signal-to-noise ratio is highly dependent on the distribution of characteristic frequency content in the spectrum in relation to the background noise and the spectral uncertainty. Since the frequency monitoring principle used here is quite rigid, we stress the need for research on more flexible methods, also taking into account differences between experiments and real reactor systems.  相似文献

氨苄西林与铜(Ⅱ)形成配合物,减弱了铜(Ⅱ)对核固红的荧光猝灭作用,导致体系荧光增强,据此提出了一种测定氨苄西林含量的荧光光谱法。考察了缓冲溶液、试剂加入顺序、核固红和铜(Ⅱ)的浓度、反应温度和时间、离子强度等对体系的影响。在最佳试验条件下,氨苄西林的质量浓度在0.50~26mg·L-1范围内与增强的荧光强度呈线性关系,检出限(3s/k)为0.40 mg·L-1。将方法用于氨苄西林胶囊中氨苄西林含量的测定,回收率在98.1%~101%之间,测定值的相对标准偏差(n=6)在1.7%~2.1%之间。  相似文献

A high birefringence (Δn = 0.292 at λ = 633 nm, 25°C) and low crossover frequency (<1 kHz at T = 25°C) dual‐frequency liquid crystal (DFLC) mixture was developed. The high birefringence enabled us to use a thin liquid crystal cell, which is helpful for fast response time and low operating voltage. The initially low crossover frequency allowed us to operate the DFLC device at an elevated temperature, which significantly lowers the viscosity while keeping the crossover frequency in an acceptable range (<10 kHz). We demonstrated a 2π phase shifter at λ = 633 nm using such a DFLC and obtained a sub‐millisecond response time at T~45°C. This type of DFLC mixture together with elevated temperature operation opens a new way for achieving fast response time.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Liquid crystal displays (LCDs) for vehicle displays should exhibit a fast response time in wide temperature range and wide-viewing angle in horizontal and downward directions without grey-scale inversion but limited brightness in the upward direction because the display images can be reproduced in the front window glass of a vehicle, affecting driver’s front visibility. Currently, fringe-field switching (FFS) liquid crystal device is widely commercialised for high resolution and wide-viewing-angle LCD; however, it needs to improve response times and limit the display brightness in the upward direction. As a solution, we propose a homogeneously aligned liquid crystal device in which liquid crystal director does tilt as well as twist deformation in a confined area by both vertical- and fringe-electric fields, exhibiting about two times faster decay response time than that of conventional FFS mode with suppressed luminance in the upward direction. The proposed liquid crystal device can be applied to LCDs for vehicle displays.  相似文献

The vortex method is applied to the calculation of a homogeneous shear turbulence, and compared with a finite difference code using identical calculation conditions. The core spreading method with spatial adaptation is selected as the viscous diffusion scheme of the vortex method. The shear rate is chosen so that it matches the maximum value observed in a fully developed channel flow. The isosurface, anisotropy tensors, and joint probability density functions reflect the ability of the present vortex method to quantitatively reproduce the anisotropic nature of strongly sheared turbulence, both instantaneously and statistically. A peculiar first orbit loss type was found apart from the normal ones when we use ORBIT code to simulate fast ion orbits in the EAST tokamak. Fast ion orbits were studied in the presence of toroidal field (TF) ripple and magnetohydro- dynamic (MHD) perturbations. We analyzed the properties of the drifted orbits in detail and compared their differences, finding that the combined effects of ripple and magnetic islands are much greater than the effects of either one of them alone. Then we investigated the orbitdeviations as a function of pitch angle in different radial positions. The modeling results demonstrate that the loss of trapped particles is mainly caused by the ripple, while MHD'perturbation mainly plays an important role in the passing particles. Furthermore we modeled the loss rate using different equilibriums. Results prove that a higher beta can indeed improve the confinement of fast ions, while a little change in the q profile can make the topologies of magnetic islands become quite different and results in quite different total particle losses.  相似文献

This study presents a very fast GC analysis applied for the baseline separation of isomeric tropane alkaloids extracted from the stem-bark of Schizanthus grahamii (Solanaceae). The work provided a challenging application where isothermal analysis in conjunction with very short narrow bore columns (3 m x 100 microm ID and 1.5 m x 50 microm ID) was particularly suited for the speeding up. Experimental parameters were used in the optimisation steps, including selection of stationary phase, temperature, internal column diameter and optimal practicable gas velocity. Some considerations about sample injection in fast isothermal analysis are also briefly presented. Finally, the investigated approach allowed a very fast baseline separation of four positional and configurational isomers in less than 9 s.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

We focus on mean-variance hedging problem for models whose asset price follows an exponential additive process. Some representations of mean-variance hedging strategies for jump-type models have already been suggested, but none is suited to develop numerical methods of the values of strategies for any given time up to the maturity. In this paper, we aim to derive a new explicit closed-form representation, which enables us to develop an efficient numerical method using the fast Fourier transforms. Note that our representation is described in terms of Malliavin derivatives. In addition, we illustrate numerical results for exponential Lévy models.  相似文献
