We investigate the entanglement dynamics of two distinguishable two-level systems(TLSs) characterized by energy difference δ located inside a rectangular hollow metallic waveguide of transverse dimensions a and b. The effects of energy difference δ and the inter-TLS distance on the time evolution of the concurrence of the TLSs are examined in the single excitation subspace when the energy separation of the TLS is far away from the cutoff frequencies of the transverse mode. 相似文献

The assembly of two tripyridinium-tricarboxylate ligands and different metal ions leads to seven isostructural MOFs, which show novel 2D→2D supramolecular entanglement featuring catenane-like interlocking of tricyclic cages. The MOFs show tripyridinium-afforded and metal-modulated photoresponsive properties. The MOFs with d10 metal centers ( 1-Cd , 1-Zn , 2-Cd , 2-Zn ) show fast and reversible photochromism and concomitant fluorescence quenching, 1-Ni displays slower photochromism but does not fluoresce, and 1-Co and 2-Co are neither photochromic nor fluorescent. It is shown here that the network entanglement dictates donor-acceptor close contacts, which enable fluorescence originated from interligand charge transfer. The contacts also allow photoinduced electron transfer, which underlies photochromism and concomitant fluorescence response. The metal dependence in fluorescence and photochromism can be related to energy transfer through metal-centered d-d transitions. In addition, 1-Cd is demonstrated to be a potential fluorescence sensor for sensitive and selective detection of UO22+ in water. 相似文献

Based on Thiele-Cohen model, a swelling equation was derived by introducing the interaction parameters of a three-component system of polymer Ⅰ-polymer Ⅱ-solvent, which is a reasonable representation of the swelling behavior of general homogeneous IPNs. The degrees of equilibrium swelling of polyvinyl acetate/polymethyl actylate (PVAc/PMA) IPNs were compared between the theoretical and experimental values. Considering a two-level atom interacting with the competing two-mode field, this paper investigates the entanglement between the two-level atom and the two-mode field by using the quantum reduced entropy, and that between the two-mode field by using the quantum relative entropy of entanglement. It shows that the two kinds of entanglement are dependent on the relative coupling strength of atom-field and the atomic distribution, and exhibit the periodical evolution. In this paper, we consider the entanglement dynamics of a four-qubit model [2006 Phys. Rev. A 74 042328] where two entangled qubits a and b locally interact with separate qubits A and B via the spin-exchange-like Hamiltonian. We study the effect of purity of initial entangled state of qubits a, b on the entanglement evolution and its relation with energy transfer. Also, we find that the total bipartite entanglement of qubits a, b plus A, B is not a constant any longer when the initial entangled state of a, b is not pure, which is a complement to the result in the paper [2007 J.
