Optical fibers are key components in telecommunication technologies. Apart from optical specifications, optical fibers are expected to keep most of their physical properties for 10–20 years in current operating conditions. The reliability and the expected lifetime of optical links are closely related to action of the chemical environment on the silica network. However, the coating also contributes largely to the mechanical properties of the fibers.The aim of this work was to study the strength and the mechanical behavior of the silica optical fibers in an acid environment and with a permanent deformation. A container with ammonium bifluoride acid salt was plunged into hot water at different temperatures (55 and 75 °C). This emitted acid vapors which attacked the optical fibers for a period of 1–18 days. An aging study was performed on silica optical fibers with standard polyacrylate coating and with hermetic carbon coating. A dynamic two-point bending bench at different faceplate velocities (100, 200, 400 and 800 μm/s) was used. For comparison, the same dynamic measurements were also carried out on non-aged fibers.After acid vapor condensation, salt crystal deposits on the fibers were displayed using an electron scanning microscope. The characteristics of various types of refrigerator noise were investigated in an anechoic chamber and in a real living environment - a 100 m2 apartment which is a common size in Korea. It was found that the sound pressure level of the refrigerator noise in the real living room was about 10 dB higher than the level in the anechoic chamber at the same position (1 m in front of refrigerator). In addition, a tolerance level for refrigerator noise was determined by subjective evaluation experiments. Refrigerator noise was presented by a loudspeaker placed in the kitchen where the refrigerator is normally located. Level 2 responses to the subjective evaluation (“hardly perceivable”) corresponded to a sound pressure level of about 26 dB(A), for which 90% of participants were satisfied with the level of refrigerator noise. A semantic differential test using various adjectives was also conducted to evaluate the sound quality of refrigerator noise. With the semantic differential and the factor analysis, adjectives used in this experiment were grouped into three factors. From the results of correlation and multiple regression analyses on the psychoacoustical parameters and subjective evaluations of 30 kinds of refrigerators, sound quality index which predict the subjective rating score were proposed. 相似文献

High entanglement generation and high fidelity quantum state transfer in a non-Markovian environment 下载免费PDF全文
This paper analyses a system of two independent qubits off-resonantly coupled to a common non-Markovian reservoir at zero temperature. Compared with the results in Markovian reservoirs, we find that much higher values of entanglement can be obtained for an initially factorized state of the two-qubit system. The maximal value of the entanglement increases as the detuning grows. Moreover, the entanglement induced by non-Markovian environments is more robust against the asymmetrical couplings between the two qubits and the reservoir. Based on this system, we also show that quantum state transfer can be implemented for arbitrary input states with high fidelity in the non-Markovian regime rather than the Markovian case in which only some particular input states can be successfully transferred. 相似文献

以玉米芯颗粒为原料在两段式固定床气化装置上进行了气化实验,考察了当量比ER、富氧浓度OC和水蒸气配比S/B对气化温度、气化气组分、低位热值、气体产率、气化效率和碳转化率等参数的影响,并比较了两段式固定床与传统下吸式固定床的气化特性。实验结果表明,当量比为0.27时H2的体积分数、CO的体积分数和气化效率达到最大值;增加富氧浓度能优化气化效果,但富氧浓度大于90%后,燃气质量和气化效率均提高不大;增加S/B能提高H2的体积分数,但同时会降低CO的体积分数、气体热值、气化效率;当S/B为0.6时,氢气的体积分数达最高值33.3%,H2/CO比为1.32;相比于传统固定床,两段式固定床气化可明显提高气化温度、氢气的体积分数、碳转化率和气化效率,降低焦油含量。 相似文献

Continental regions are experiencing rapid environmental changes due to expansion of industrial activities and land uses in different types of agricultural productions, burning of fossil fuels, etc., which lead to the emanation of huge amount of smog aerosol particulates and chemicals in the atmosphere. Information about these chemical tracers has been found from Indian Ocean Experiment (INDOEX), Intergovernmental Panel for Climate Change (IPCC) assessment reports as well as from other sources. The results of these computations may be interpreted by the chemical tracer transport model. In this paper, we have used a global atmospheric model in which the optical properties and the concentrations of the chemical tracers and aerosols have been incorporated. The aerosols and chemicals are transported in the atmospheric environment by the model cumulus convection and through the model semi-Lagrangian advection process . Thus, they are globally distributed along with the wind flow. The model has been used in studying the impact of the tropospheric chemical perturbations on the global environment. 相似文献

针对复杂海陆环境中的无线信号传播预测问题,研究了适用于抛物方程的信号时延与到达角估计方法。将自由空间中抛物方程轴向波前信号视为本地副本信号,然后利用信号的自相关特性,将接收信号与副本信号进行互相关运算,最后通过相关函数的峰值检索,得到脉冲信号在复杂环境中传播的附加时延。采用数值算例,验证了该方法的正确性和有效性。此外,采用多重信号分类算法,由抛物方程构建接收阵列的协方差矩阵,并对其进行特征值分解,然后利用信号子空间和噪声子空间的正交性,实现复杂环境中的信号到达角估计。仿真结果表明,相比于传统的平面波谱方法,该方法具有更高的多径分辨率。基于上述方法,并结合数字地图,在典型的海陆环境中进行了仿真实验,分析了蒸发波导对脉冲信号传播时延和到达角的影响。 相似文献

根据《环境监测质量管理规定》、《江苏省环境监测质量管理实施细则》及环境监测技术规范的要求,探讨了降水监测采样、样品保存技术、实验室分析的质量控制方法。采用不同采样方法、不同采样器同时采集15场降水,其降雨量、电导率、pH值的比对监测结果合格率均大于90%。经试验,降水各组分有效保存时间不同,其中NO_3~-,NH_4~+为3 d;F~-,Cl~-,SO_4~(2-)为14d;K~+,Na~+,Ca~(2+),Mg~(2+)为30 d。选择2家实验室对降水样品、空白样品、标准样品同时测试,结果显示,空白测定结果均低于方法检出限,标准曲线相关性系数r≥0.999 0,测定结果的相对标准偏差为1.4%~5.9%(n=6),加标回收率为89.8%~106%,标准样品的分析结果均合格。该方法能保证降水监测结果准确、可靠,满足HJ/T 165-2004《酸沉降监测技术规范》的要求。 相似文献
