We study the electromagnetic form factors and tensor polarization observables of the deuteron in the framework of the hard-wall AdS/QCD model. We find a profile function for the bulk twist \begin{document}$\tau=6$\end{document} ![]()

vector field, which describes the deuteron on the boundary and fix the infrared boundary cut-off of AdS space in accordance with the ground state mass of the deuteron. We obtain the deuteron charge monopole, quadrupole, and magnetic dipole form factors and tensor polarization observables from the bulk Lagrangians for the deuteron and photon field interactions. We plot the momentum transfer dependence of the form factors and tensor polarization observables and compare our numerical results with those in the soft-wall model and experimental data. 相似文献

In the atmospheric correction of satellite data in the visible and near-infrared bands, it is necessary to remove the adjacency effect due to the reflection from contiguous pixels. Evaluation of the influence of aerosol vertical distributions on the adjacency effect is done by calculating the single-scattering light intensity which, after the reflection at the ground surface, reaches the satellite sensor via a single scattering with a molecule or an aerosol particle. In the simulation, we assume aerosol vertical profiles similar to those used in the MODTRAN radiation transfer code, and those having a mixed layer with a uniform value of the aerosol extinction coefficient. We assume for the ground surface a simple model representing a border of land/sea surfaces. In spite of the single scattering approximation, it is confirmed that even if the optical thickness is the same, we have a larger adjacency effect when the extinction coefficient is large at higher altitudes. We also discuss the dependence of the adjacency effect on the aerosol optical thickness and that on the difference in the reflectances of the land and sea surfaces along the border. 相似文献

Hamilton equations based not only upon the Poincaré–Cartan equivalent of a first-order Lagrangian, but also upon its Lepagean equivalent are investigated. Lagrangians which are singular within the Hamilton–De Donder theory, but regularizable in this generalized sense are studied. Legendre transformation for regularizable Lagrangians is proposed and Hamilton equations, equivalent with the Euler–Lagrange equations, are found. In an attempt to explain the recent measurements on the radiative decays of the vector-mesons (V→Pγ), we study the consequences of introducing a small admixture of SU (3) singlet piece in the electromagnetic current. We find
that this leads to an excellent fit of the theory with the new measurements on theV→Pγ decays. However, this addition adversely affects the fit of the leptonic decays of the vector mesons (V→e
+
e
−) and of the radiative decay of the pion (π→2γ). We conclude that the overall fit to the available data does not favour a large (>10%) admixture of the SU(3) singlet. The

The interaction between a very-high-frequency gravitational wave (VHFGW) and an electromagnetic wave (EMW) in a rectangular waveguide is discussed in the weak field limit. The background EMW is assumed to be initially in the TE10 mode along the waveguide. It is then shown that a VHFGW, having the same frequency and direction of propagation of the EMW, induces through the waveguide a TE mode with a frequency doubled when compared to the original EMW frequency. Production and analysis of non-Gaussian radiation fields has evinced a lot of attention recently.
Simplest way of generating such non-Gaussians is through adding (subtracting) photons to
Gaussian fields.
Interestingly, when photons are added to classical Gaussian fields, the resulting states exhibit
non-classicality.
Two important classical Gaussian radiation fields are coherent and thermal states. Here, we
study the non-classical features of
such states when photons are added to them. Non-classicality of these states shows up in the
negativity of the
Wigner function. We also work out the entanglement potential, a recently proposed measure
of non-classicality for these states. Our analysis reveals that photon added coherent states are
non-classical for all seed beam intensities; their non-classicality increases with the addition
of more number of photons. Thermal state exhibits non-classicality at all temperatures, when a
photon is added; lower the temperature, higher is their non-classicality. 相似文献
