The density of states and the conductivity are calculated in lateral superlattices with disorder in the period within a self-consistent Born approximation. Although the potential loses its periodicity on average due to disorder, it leads to an opening up of a pseudo-band-gap and modifies the conductivity perpendicular to the superlattice even qualitatively, when the energy reaches the zone boundary. 相似文献

Summary Absolute double differential cross-sections for target ionization and projectile electron loss were determined in collisions
of H+, H2
+,3He+ and3He++ ions (0.4 to 2.0 Me V/u) with He and Ar gas targets at electron emission angles from 0° up to 60°. The experimental results
are qualitatively well described by plane-wave Born approximations including screening of the projectile in target ionization
and of the target atom in the case of electron loss.
Riassunto Sono state determinate le sezioni d’urto doppie differenziali assolute per la ionizzazione del bersaglio e la perdita dell’elettrone proiettile in collisioni di ioni H+, H 2 + ,3He+ e3He++ (da 0.4 a 2.0 Me V/u) con bersagli di gas He e Ar ad angoli di emissione degli elettroni da 0° a 60°. I risultati sperimentali sono qualitativamente ben descritti dalle approssimazioni di Born per onde piane che comprendono la schermatura del proiettile nella ionizzazione del bersaglio e dell’atomo bersaglio nel caso di perdita dell’elettrone.

The topic of this work is the generalized X- and Y-functions of multidimensional radiative transfer. The physical problem considered is spatially varying, collimated radiation incident on the upper boundary of an isotropically scattering, plane-parallel medium. An integral transform is used to reduce the three-dimensional transport equation to a one-dimensional form, and a modified Ambarzumian's method is used to derive coupled, integro-differential equations for the source functions at the boundaries of the medium. The resulting equations are said to be in double-integral form because the integration is over both angular variables. Numerical results are presented to illustrate the computational characteristics of the formulation. 相似文献

A combination of ring opening metathesis polymerization (ROMP) and click chemistry approach is first time utilized in the preparation of 3‐miktoarm star terpolymer. The bromide end‐functionality of monotelechelic poly(N‐butyl oxanorbornene imide) (PNBONI‐Br) is first transformed to azide and then reacted with polystyrene‐b‐poly(methyl methacrylate) copolymer with alkyne at the junction point (PS‐b‐PMMA‐alkyne) via click chemistry strategy, producing PS‐PMMA‐PNBONI 3‐miktoarm star terpolymer. PNBONI‐Br was prepared by ROMP of N‐butyl oxanorbornene imide (NBONI) 1 in the presence of (Z)‐but‐2‐ene‐1,4‐diyl bis(2‐bromopropanoate) 2 as terminating agent. The aim of this paper is to study the static problem about a general elastic multi-structure composed of an arbitrary number of elastic bodies, plates and rods. The mathematical model is derived by the variational principle and the principle of virtual work in a vector way. The unique solvability of the resulting problem is proved by the Lax-Milgram lemma after the presentation of a generalized Korn's inequality on general elastic multi-structures. The equilibrium equations are obtained rigorously by only assuming some reasonable regularity of the solution. An important identity is also given which is essential in the finite element analysis for the problem. 相似文献

Analysis results for the elastic properties of a composite with a small amount of coplanarly arranged platelike filler particles
are presented. The geometrical form of the particles is described by an oblate ellipsoid of revolution. The calculations are
performed by formulas obtained by using the Eshelby approach for media with a low concentration of inclusions. The effect
of anisometry of the ellipsoidal particles and of the ratio between the elastic moduli of the filler and matrix on the effective
elastic constants of the composite is discussed. Calculation results are compared with experimental data for the elastic moduli
of a nanocomposite containing completely exfoliated particles of an unmodified montmorillonite.

Light scattering near and from interfaces using evanescent wave and ellipsometric light scattering 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
The broad range of interface light scattering investigations in recent years shows the power and the versatility of these techniques to address new and open questions in colloid and interface science and the soft condensed matter field. Structural information for polymers, liquid crystals, or colloids close to planar or spherical colloidal interfaces are either captured with long range light scattering resolution, or in a complementary approach by high resolution ellipsometric techniques. Of special interest is the dynamic behavior close to or in interfaces, since it determines material properties and responses to external fields. Due to the broad dynamical range and the high scattering contrast for visible light, interface light scattering is a key to elucidate soft matter interfacial dynamics. This contribution reviews experimental and related theoretical approaches for interface light scattering and further gives an overview of achievements based on such techniques. 相似文献
