MMVB is a QM/MM hybrid method, consisting of a molecular mechanics force field coupled to a valence bond Heisenberg Hamiltonian parametrized from ab initio CASSCF calculations on several prototype molecules. The Heisenberg Hamiltonian matrix elements Q(ij) and K(ij), whose expressions are partitioned here into a primary contribution and second-order correction terms, are calculated analytically in MMVB. When the original MMVB force field fails to produce potential energy surfaces accurate enough for dynamics calculations, we show that significant improvements can be made by refitting the second-order correction terms for the particular molecule(s) being studied. This "local" reparametrization is based on values of K(ij) extracted (using effective Hamiltonian techniques) from CASSCF calculations on the same molecule(s). The method is demonstrated for the photoisomerization of s-cis butadiene, and we explain how the correction terms that enabled a successful MMVB dynamics study [Garavelli, M.; Bernardi, F.; Olivucci, M.; Bearpark, M. J.; Klein, S.; Robb, M. A. J Phys Chem A 2001, 105, 11496] were refitted.  相似文献

The molar heat capacity of the azeotropic mixture composed of ethanol and toluene was measured by a high precision adiabatic calorimeter from 80 to 320 K. The glass transition and phase transitions of the azeotropic mixture were determined based on the heat capacity measurements. A glass transition at 103.350 K was found. A solid-solid phase transition at 127.282 K, two solid-liquid phase transitions at 153.612 and 160.584 K were observed, which correspond to the transition of metastable crystal to stable crystal of ethanol and the melting of ethanol and toluene, respectively. The thermodynamic functions and the excess ones of the mixture relative to the standard temperature 298.15 K were derived based on the relationships of the thermodynamic functions and the function of the measured heat capacity with respect to temperature.  相似文献

The ostwald absorption coefficient of argon was measured in aqueous solutions of two surfactants; sodium n-octanoate and in sodium dodecylsulfate, at several concentrations and at a few temperatures between 10–25°C. The free energies, entropies and enthalpies of solution were computed. A tentative interpretation of the results is given, based on a competition between the solubilization and the salting-out effects of the surfactants.  相似文献

Although recent decades have witnessed the synthesis of 1,3,4-thiadiazoles via phosphorus POCl3-promoted cyclization reaction, simultaneous access to 2-amino-1,3,4-thiadiazole and 2-amino-1,3,4-oxadiazole analogs remains unexpected and elusive. Herein, a detailed regiocontrolled synthesis of 2-amino-1,3,4-thiadiazoles in good to high yields with good regioselectivities from readily available thiosemicarbazides using POCl3 was disclosed. Meantime, to establish a comprehensive structure–activity relationship, 2-amino-1,3,4-oxadiazole derivatives as single regioisomers were prepared via EDCI·HCl-triggered cyclization of the thiosemicarbazide intermediates. The in vitro anti-influenza assays proved that the selected compounds with the pyrazine/pyridine ring exhibited certain inhibitory activities against influenza A virus strains A/HK/68 (H3N2) and A/PR/8/34 (H1N1) in MDCK cells. Among them, N-(adamantan-1-yl)-5-(5-(azepan-1-yl)pyrazin-2-yl)-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-amine (4j) was the most active compound, and exhibited favorable activity with EC50 values of 3.5 μM and 7.5 μM, respectively. In addition, the molecular docking results explained the reason why compound 4j had dual inhibitory activity and revealed the reasonable binding mode of this compound with the M2-S31N and M2-WT ion channels. This compound had the potential to be further developed as an anti-influenza drug.  相似文献

Decomposition of dichlorodifluoromethane in thermal plasma was investigated theoretically by computing the equilibrium composition of the gas mixtures involving carbon, chlorine and fluorine in presence of argon (which is assumed to be the main plasma gas) and/or in addition of hydrogen and calcium together with hydrogen. The calculations were carried out for the temperature range between 500 and 6000 K and for the total pressure of the system of 1 bar. Use is made of the fact that a thermal plasma is a plasma in (local) thermal equilibrium, which makes possible the theoretical determination of its equilibrium composition at definite temperature by employing Gibbs free energy data for the compounds present in the system and assuming that the equilibrium of the system corresponds to its minimum energy state. The results of calculations show that toxic molecules and radicals can be, under convenient conditions (appropriate temperature and amount of added substances), converted into stable non-toxic species like CaF2 and CaCl2.  相似文献

The transport properties of separating membranes MF-4SK are studied during electrolysis of H2O in solutions of KOH. The effective diffusion coefficients of molecules of KOH and H2O and the transfer coefficients of ions K+ and OH? and molecules of H2O are measured at KOH concentrations reaching 11 M, currents reaching 0.31 A cm?2, at ambient temperature and at 80°C. In contact with a KOH solution in the concentration interval 0.1 to 11 M, the membranes that initially swelled in H2O lose a considerable fraction of water that was present in them and the overall volume of clusters and solution-filled channels in them noticeably decreases. The coefficients of transfer by current of ions K+ out of anodic compartment into cathodic and the OH? ions in the reverse direction, respectively, happen to be equal to about 0.6 and 0.4 at ambient temperature and 0.8 and 0.2 at 80°C. The coefficients of transfer of water molecules out of the anodic volume into the cathodic volume in the process of electrolysis happen to be in the limits 1.6–1.9 at ambient temperature and in the limits 2.2–2.8 at 80°C. The effective diffusion coefficients of molecules of KOH and H2O at moderate concentrations of KOH (5.6 M) amount to ~2.6 × 10?7 and 30 × 10?7 cm2s?1 at ambient temperature and ~4 × 10?7 and 61 × 10?7 cm2s?1 at 80°C, respectively. At a high concentration of KOH (~10 M) these quantities substantially diminish.  相似文献

The adsorption properties of silica gel with grafted aminopropyl and guanidinoethanethiol (GET) groups were studied by the techniques of adsorption under static conditions and gas chromatography. It was shown that molecules capable of forming hydrogen bonds are adsorbed on all modified samples more weakly than on the initial silica gel. The grafting of GET radicals on the surface results in a noticiable increase in the dispersion interaction with adsorbed molecules. Calculation of the contributions of molecular groups to the constant of adsorption equilibrium showed that the thermodynamic characteristics of adsorption on aminosilochromes and aminosilicas with a polymeric layer of the modifying agent have similar values. The present study was carried out to design and synthesize a number of novel aromatic carboxamide derivatives of dehydroabietylamine. The preliminary antifungal assay indicated that most of title compounds displayed moderate to good antifungal activity toward the six fungal strains in vitro. Compounds 3i, 3q, 4b and 4d showed significant antifungal activity against Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, with EC50 values ranging from 0.067 ~ 0.393 mg/L. Compounds 3i, 4b and 4d also showed pronounced mycelial growth inhibition activities against B. cinerea and A. solani. Furthermore, in the in vivo assay, compound 4b exhibited brilliant protective activity against S. sclerotiorum-infected rape leaves. Meanwhile, the in vivo bioassay on tomato plants infected by B. cinerea showed that compound 3i and 4d displayed excellent protective activity at 200 mg/L, which were near to boscalid. Primary mechanistic study revealed that 4b could inhibit sclerotia formation as well as reduce the exopolysaccharide level. SEM and TEM analysis indicated that 4b possessed a strong ability to destroy the surface morphology of mycelia, cell structure and seriously interfere with the growth of the fungal pathogen. In addition, 4b exhibited good inhibitory activity (IC50 = 23.3 ± 1.6 μM) toward succinate dehydrogenase (SDH). Molecular modeling study confirmed the binding modes between compound 4b and SDH. The above antifungal results and fungicidal mechanism study revealed that this class of dehydroabietylamine derivatives could be potential SDH inhibitors and lead compounds for novel fungicides development.  相似文献

The molar conductivities (Λ) of solutions of n-tetrabutylammonium tetraphenylborate (NBu4BPh4) in 3-pentanone have been measured in the temperature range from 283.15 to 329.15 K. The conductance data have been analyzed using the Lee-Wheaton conductivity equation with the distance parameter (a) set at Bjerrum’s pairing distance, and the limiting molar conductivities (Λo) and the association equilibrium constants (K A) have been derived. The limiting ion conductivities (λ_±o) have been evaluated according to the method of Krumgalz. The λ+ o values have been compared with λ+ o values calculated from the empirical equation of Gill. The thermodynamic functions, Gibbs energy (Δ G A o), enthalpy (Δ H A o) and entropy (Δ S A o) for the process of ion-pair formation as well as the activation energy of the ionic movement (ΔH ) have been evaluated. The obtained results are discussed in terms of ion-ion and ion-solvent interactions.  相似文献
