The Inert Doublet Model(IDM) is one of the many beyond Standard Model scenarios with an extended scalar sector, which provide a suitable dark matter particle candidate. Dark matter associated visible particle production at high energy colliders provides a unique way to determine the microscopic properties of the dark matter particle. In this paper, we investigate that the mono-W + missing transverse energy production at the Large Hadron Collider(LHC),where W boson decay to a lepton and a neutrino. We perform the analysis for the signal of mono-W production in the IDM and the Standard Model(SM) backgrounds, and the optimized criteria employing suitable cuts are chosen in kinematic variables to maximize signal significance. We also investigate the discovery potential in several benchmark scenarios at the 14 TeV LHC. When the light Z_2 odd scalar higgs of mass is about 65 GeV, charged Higgs is in the mass range from 120 GeV to 250 GeV, it provides the best possibility with a signal significance of about 3σ at an integrated luminosity of about 3000 fb~(-1). 相似文献

The Higgs triplet model (HTM) predicts the existence of a pair of doubly charged Higgs bosons H±± . Single production of H±± via eγcollision at the next generation e+e- International Linear Collider (ILC) and the Large Hadron electron Collider (LHeC) is considered. The numerical results show that the production cross sections are very sensitive to the neutrino oscillation parameters. Their values for the inverted hierarchy mass spectrum are larger than those for the normal hierarchy mass spectrum at these two kinds of collider experiments. With reasonable values of the relevant free parameters, the possible signals of the doubly charged Higgs bosons predicted by the HTM might be detected in future ILC experiments. 相似文献

Measuring the pionic structure function is of high interest, as it provides a new area for understanding the strong interaction among quarks and testing QCD predictions. To this end, we investigate the feasibility and expected impact of a possible experiment at EicC(Electron-ion collider in China). We show the simulation results on the statistical precision of an EicC measurement, based on the model of leading neutron tagged DIS process and the parton distribution functions of the pion from JAM18 global analysis. The simulation shows that at EicC, the kinematics cover the x π range from 0.01 to 1, and the Q~2 range from 1 to 50 GeV~2, within the acceptable statistical uncertainty. Assuming an integrated luminosity of 50 fb~(-1), in the low-Q~2 region( 10 GeV~2), the Monte Carlo data show that the suggested measurement in the whole x π range reaches very high precision( 3%). The top triangle moose (TTM) model, which can be seen as the deconstructed version of the topcolor-assisted technicolor (TC2) model, predicts the existence of the charged top-pions πt± in low energy spectrum. In the context of this model, we consider photoproduction of πt± via the subprocesses γb→tπ-and γ→πt+ at the large hadron-electron collider (LHeC), in which high energy photon beams are generated by using the Compton backscatting method. We find that, as long as the charged top-pions are not too heavy, they can be abundantly produced via γb collision. 相似文献
