The dynamics of a spatially extended system of two competing
species in the presence of two noise sources is studied. A
correlated dichotomous noise acts on the interaction parameter and
a multiplicative white noise affects directly the dynamics of the
two species. To describe the spatial distribution of the species
we use a model based on Lotka-Volterra (LV) equations. By writing
them in a mean field form, the corresponding moment equations for
the species concentrations are obtained in Gaussian approximation.
In this formalism the system dynamics is analyzed for different
values of the multiplicative noise intensity. Finally by comparing
these results with those obtained by direct simulations of the
time discrete version of LV equations, that is coupled map lattice
(CML) model, we conclude that the anticorrelated oscillations of
the species densities are strictly related to non-overlapping

We study a general class of nonlinear mean field
Fokker-Planck equations in relation with an effective generalized
thermodynamical (E.G.T.) formalism. We show that these equations describe
several physical systems such as: chemotaxis of bacterial
populations, Bose-Einstein condensation in the canonical ensemble,
porous media, generalized Cahn-Hilliard equations, Kuramoto model,
BMF model, Burgers equation, Smoluchowski-Poisson system for
self-gravitating Brownian particles, Debye-Hückel theory of
electrolytes, two-dimensional turbulence... In particular, we show
that nonlinear mean field Fokker-Planck equations can provide
generalized Keller-Segel models for the chemotaxis of
biological populations. As an example, we introduce a new model of
chemotaxis incorporating both effects of anomalous diffusion and
exclusion principle (volume filling). Therefore, the notion of
generalized thermodynamics can have applications for concrete
physical systems. We also consider nonlinear mean field
Fokker-Planck equations in phase space and show the passage from
the generalized Kramers equation to the generalized Smoluchowski
equation in a strong friction limit. Our formalism is simple and
illustrated by several explicit examples corresponding to Boltzmann,
Tsallis, Fermi-Dirac and Bose-Einstein entropies among others. 相似文献

We improve the isospin dependent quantum molecular dynamical model by including isospin effects in the Skyrme potential and the momentum dependent interaction to obtain an isospin dependent Skyrme potential and an isospin dependent momentum interaction. We investigate the isospin effects of Skyrme potential and momentum dependent interaction on the isospin fractionation ratio and the dynamical mechanism in intermediate energy heavy ion collisions. A general model of linearly stochastically coupled identical connected neural networks with hybrid coupling is proposed, which is composed of constant coupling, coupling discrete time-varying delay and coupling distributed timevarying delay. All the coupling terms are subjected to stochastic disturbances described in terms of Brownian motion, which reflects a more realistic dynamical behaviour of coupled systems in practice. Based on a simple adaptive feedback controller and stochastic stability theory, several sufficient criteria are presented to ensure the synchronization of linearly stochastically coupled complex networks with coupling mixed time-varying delays. The role of hypernuclear physics for the physics of neutron stars is delineated. Hypernuclear potentials in dense matter control the hyperon composition of dense neutron star matter. The three-body interactions of nucleons and hyperons determine the stiffness of the neutron star equation of state and thereby the maximum neutron star mass. Two-body hyperon–nucleon and hyperon–hyperon interactions give rise to hyperon pairing which exponentially suppresses cooling of neutron stars via the direct hyperon URCA processes. Nonmesonic weak reactions with hyperons in dense neutron star matter govern the gravitational wave emissions due to the r-mode instability of rotating neutron stars. 相似文献

Properties of the four rotation bands, ^157Er(1,2) and ^15SEr(1,2), at ultrahigh spin are investigated within the supersymmetry scheme including many-body interactions and possessing the SO(5) (or SU(5)) symmetry on the rotational symmetry. Quantitatively good results of the 7-ray energies and the dynamical moments of inertia in the rotation bands in ^157 Er and ^158 Er at ultrahigh spin are obtained. We theoretically predict that the competition between the anti-pairing and pairing effects may exist in ^157 Er(1,2) and ^158Et(2) bands states. In ^158Er(1) band state, the favourepairing effects may exist and the SO(5) (or SU(5)) symmetry play a dominant role.
