大型低温配件的降温试验复杂和多变,文中针对大型回热换热器的降温进行了研究。将回热换热器置于特制的冷箱内,利用液氮作为冷源,氦气做为载冷剂为换热器提供降温条件;隔膜压缩机为循环氦气提供循环压力。试验前将换热器上面布置9支传感器,传感器所采集的数据自动记录并保存在上位机内,同时绘制降温曲线,为大型回热换热器的降温研究提供了数据。  相似文献

A differential heat flux calorimeter has been used to study the Smectic A-Nematic and Nematic-Isotropic Liquid transitions in 8CB liquid crystal. The Faktor and Hanks model under our working conditions enables us to distinguish first-order from second-order transitions by analysis of differential signal. The critical exponent values obtained justify the proportionality between Cp evolution and the normalized differential signal (differential signal divided by the scanning rate).  相似文献

A vertical cylinder was applied as a heat source into a water pool; the vibrations were imposed into the heater with different heat fluxes, and the frequencies were adjusted at 10, 15, 20, and 25 Hz. An imaging system was employed to observe the produced bubbles around the cylindrical heat source. The results showed that the boiling heat transfer was enhanced under the vibrations with a shorter transient process, and the wall temperature also decreased. The best enhancement ratio was achieved at the frequency of 25 Hz and a heat flux value of 30 kW/m2 as a consequence of imposed vibrations.  相似文献

The current study was conducted to investigate the convective heat transfer coefficient of a novel TiO2–CNT hybrid nanofluid through the shell-and-tube heat exchanger under a laminar flow and the effects of temperature and mass fraction on it. TiO2–CNT hybrid nanofluids were prepared using a new and modified hydrolysis technique. The thermal conductivity of the TiO2–CNT hybrid nanofluid and other thermo-physical properties were assessed. Results indicate that the effective thermal conductivity and heat transfer coefficient of the base fluid was influenced significantly and increased by the 0.2 wt% of this novel hybrid nanofluid in distilled water.  相似文献

In this work we present an experimental technique for the estimation of the average temperature on the cutting edge of each insert in a milling tool. The experimental device used thermistors, one per insert, and a rotational collector in order to ensure the transmission of the signals between the rotating tool and the acquisition device. Each thermistor is located at a point in the tool close to the tip of each insert. The average temperature on the cutting edge of each insert is estimated from the temperature at the nearest sensor and a model expressing these two temperatures. This model is achieved from the noninteger system identification method.  相似文献

Abstract

This article presents an experimental study of the local heat transfer on the rotor surface in a discoidal rotor-stator system air-gap in which an air jet comes through the stator and impinges the rotor. To determine the surface temperatures, measurements were taken on the rotor, using an experimental technique based on infrared thermography. A thermal balance was used to identify the local convective heat transfer coefficient. The influence of the axial Reynolds number Re j and the rotational Reynolds number Re was measured and compared with the data available in the literature. Local convective heat transfer coefficients were obtained for a dimensionless space between the two disks G = 0.01, for Re j between 0 and 41,666, and for Re between 20,000 and 516,000. The flow data found in the literature can be used to explain the heat transfers in this small space configuration. In fact, the rotating disk can be divided into two influence zones: one dominated by the air jet near the center of the rotor and one affected by both the air jet and rotation. Heat transfers with non zero impinging jets appear to be continuously improved compared to those with no jets, even if the two influence zones mentioned previously are situated differently.  相似文献

This article presents a measuring method for determination of convective heat transfer in rotating environments. The method is used to obtain temperature and Nusselt number distributions on optically accessible objects inside real operating environments, without the need for implementation of complex surface heat flux measurements. Temperature maps of the observed surfaces are acquired non-intrusively by infrared (IR) thermography, whereas heat flux data is computed numerically by computational fluid dynamics (CFD) tools. The method was employed on a rotating hollow blade, heated internally by secondary air flow. Experimental and numerical results for the observed blade side are compared in terms of surface temperature 2D distributions. Temperature distributions are further statistically evaluated and show good agreement, which is the basic precondition for combining experimental and numerical data by the method. Results are presented in terms of combined experimental-numerical Nusselt number shown as two-dimensional distribution on the blade pressure side.  相似文献

The nucleate pool boiling heat transfer data on a smooth flat surface were measured for three binary mixtures of HC600a/HFC134a, HC600a/HC290, and HC600a/HFC23. Much effort was made to investigate the influence of the boiling range on the pool-boiling heat transfer performance. From the experimental results, the HC600a/HFC23 mixture with a wide boiling range showed lower heat transfer coefficients (HTCs) than the mixture with a narrow boiling range such as HC600a/HFC134a and HC600a/HC290 systems. The measured data were also compared with the results predicted by five well-known correlations. It can be found that the average deviation is less than 25% for mixtures with narrow boiling ranges, but a larger deviation for mixtures with wide boiling ranges.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The present paper reports the experimental investigation of pool boiling heat transfer on multiscale functionalized copper surfaces. Multiscale functionalized surfaces are fabricated by employing the nano-second laser surface process (NLSP) technique. The heat transfer coefficients (HTCs) of functionalized surfaces are estimated experimentally by using water and acetone as pool liquid. Tests are performed at atmospheric pressure, and saturated pool boiling condition with heat flux varyies between 0 and 330 kW/m2. The maximum HTCs for functionalized surface and reference polished surface were found to be 41,500 W/m2K and 23,000 W/m2K, respectively, with water and 22,000 W/m2K and 14,000 W/m2K, respectively, with acetone.  相似文献
