Scale invariance rule in electromagnetic scattering

The volume integral equation formalism is used to prove the scale invariance rule for an arbitrarily sized scatterer with an arbitrary shape, morphology, and orientation. The only assumptions are that the scatterer is made of optically isotropic linear materials and is embedded in a homogeneous, linear, isotropic, and nonabsorbing infinite medium.     

Cardy's formula for some dependent percolation models

We prove Cardy's formula for rectangular crossing probabilities in dependent site percolation models that arise from a deterministic cellular automaton with a random initial state. The cellular automaton corresponds to the zero-temperature case of Domany's stochastic Ising ferromagnet on the hexagonal lattice  (with alternating updates of two sublattices) [7]; it may also be realized on the triangular lattice 𝕋 with flips when a site disagrees with six, five and sometimes four of its six neighbors. Vibrational spectra of (NH4)3ZnCl5

IR and Raman spectra of (NH₄)₃ZnCl₅ have been recorded. The observed spectra have been analysed on the basis of the vibrations of ZnCl ₄ ²⁻ and NH ₄ ⁺ ions. The appearance of multiple Raman bands indicates the presence of two different types of ammonium ions. The effect of anisotropic crystalline field over the ZnCl₄ and NH₄ tetrahedra is also discussed. The assignment of internal modes has been verified by the potential energy distribution calculations.

HILBERTIAN INVARIANCE PRINCIPLE FOR EMPIRICAL PROCESS ASSOCIATED WITH A MARKOV PROCESS

The authors establish the Hilbertian invariance principle for the empirical process of a stationary Markov process, by extending the forward-backward martingale decomposition of Lyons-Meyer-Zheng to the Hilbert space valued additive functionals associated with general non-reversible Markov processes.

大视场短焦距镜头CCD摄像系统的畸变校正

从光学测量角度出发,结合计算机视觉中的摄像机标定方法,解决了大视场短焦距镜头CCD摄像系统的畸变校正问题。与摄像机标定不同,畸变校正中仅标定内部参数,外部参数作为已知条件。采用线性畸变模型,由最小二乘法解线性方程组得到摄像系统畸变模型的畸变系数。介绍了数字图像中像素间距和光学中心的标定方法。通过比较由标定参数得到的畸变图像和摄像机采集的畸变图像对实验标定精度进行评定,实验结果表明边缘视场(112°)的标定精度达到了0 75%。     

A New Modal Lindström Theorem

We prove new Lindstr?m theorems for the basic modal propositional language, and for some related fragments of first-order logic. We find difficulties with such results for modal languages without a finite-depth property, high-lighting the difference between abstract model theory for fragments and for extensions of first-order logic. Spectral and voltammetric studies on titanium substituted Keggin-type heteropolyanions

Bonding and redox properties of mono- and dititanium substituted 12-heteropolytungsto-phosphates and their complexes with bivalent Mn, Co, Ni and Cu are studied by UV-Vis, ESR and cyclicvoltammetric techniques. The heteropoly blue analogue [Ti^IIITi^IVW₁₀PO₄₀]⁸⁻ is unstable and its presence in solution is proved by optical and ESR spectroscopy. ESR results reveal that the odd electron is trapped on the titanium atom at 77 K. The optical electronegativity of Ti(III) in this heteropoly blue is estimated to be 2.4 from the intervalence charge transfer (IVCT) bands. X-ray powder diffraction results show that the complexes K₅M^II[Ti₂W₁₀PO₄₀].xH₂O(M^II = Cu or Mn) are isomorphous with K₇[Ti₂W₁₀PO₄₀].6H₂O. Electronic spectroscopy indicates very high symmetry around the bivalent metal ion M in the K₅M^II[Ti₂W₁₀PO₄₀].xH₂O complexes. This high symmetry is confirmed in K₅Cu[Ti₂W₁₀PO₄₀] by the observation of dynamic Jahn-Teller (JT) distortion at 300 K and static JT distortion at 77 K.
