A theory of high temperature superconductivity in YBa2Cu3O7_δ compound has been developed on the basis of the momentum pairing of electrons through the relativistic Darwin interaction.
The transport behaviour of electrons is explained in terms of a mechanism of correlated electron transfer arising from the
electron-phonon coupling. A model Hamiltonian has been developed to describe the superconducting properties of the system.
This gives an energy gap which is higher than the BCS value. Attempts have been made to explain the absence of isotope effect,
the linear dependence of specific heat, the presence of larger temperature-independent paramagnetism in the normal phase and

Chemical bonding in isolated molecules and crystals of zwitterionic pentacoordinate silicon chelates
The electronic structures of a number of zwitterionic pentacoordinate silicon chelates were investigated using the results of X-ray diffraction studies and quantum-chemical calculatoins by the MPW1PW91/6-311G(d) method. The topological analysis of the electron density distribution function and the study in the framework of the natural bond orbital partitioning scheme showed that the character of chemical bonding in the axial fragments of the molecules under consideration changes from dative to three-center, four-electron as the silicon atom assumes a trigonal-bipyramidal coordination. 相似文献

A simple model consisting of two electronic levels and one vibrational mode (phonon) was theoretically studied. The electronic-vibrational interaction was linear in the vibrational displacement. The vibrational mode was taken in the harmonic approximation and was attached to the thermal bath formed by the ambient environment. The kinetic constants of the vibrational dissipation were of the second order in the vibrational-bath coupling and were taken in the Markovian limit. Although, depending on the parameters of the model, different curves of the non-radiative vibration-induced excited state decay were obtained, in general, three time intervals, corresponding to different physical behaviour, were found. In the short-time interval, small oscillations superimposed on the excited state decay were observed. They were determined by the vibrational frequency and influenced by electronic-vibrational coupling. In the middle-time interval, almost quasi-exponential decay was detected; its rate constant increased with stronger electronic-vibrational interaction and speed of vibrational relaxation. In the long-time interval, the decay was very slow and, under special conditions, even an asymptotic non-zero excited state population was observed. Its value increased with the strength of the off-diagonal electron-vibrational coupling. Links of the parameters of the model with quantum chemical terms were estimated. 相似文献

Temperature gradient interaction chromatography (TGIC) was applied for the separation of a complex miktoarm star copolymer which has one polystyrene (PS) arm and three polystyrene-b-polyisoprene (PS-b-PI) diblock copolymer arms. Such miktoarm star polymers are much more difficult to characterize than branched homopolymers since the byproduct, typically polymers with missing arm(s) or coupled products, have not only different molecular weights but also different compositions. TGIC was able to fully separate the byproducts, and the composition of the molecular species corresponding to the different separated elution peaks was determined by two methods, fractionation/NMR and multiple detection (UV and RI). A reasonable agreement between the results of the two methods was obtained. By using the composition found, the corresponding molecular weights were determined by multi-angle light scattering detection. Based on the composition and the molecular weight we were able to identify the structure of the different molecular species. 相似文献

We present a simplified relativistic configuration interaction method (SRCI), by which all the energy levels and oscillator strengths in each transition array can be calculated. There exist generalized quasi-sum relations for the calculated oscillator strengths in the relevant transition arrays by the SRCI and by an unresolved transition array model (UTA). Based on UTA and the detailed configuration accounting (DCA), with a fully relativistic treatment incorporated with the quantum defect theory, the X-ray absorption spectra for any middle- and high-Z plasmas or composite plasmas can be calculated with much less computational efforts. The gross features of calculated spectra by DCA-UTA are in agreement with the relevant experimental measurements, except some detailed structures in some narrow spectral ranges. Such detailed structures can be calculated by SRCI incorporated with DCA-UTA. As an illustrative example, the absorption spectra of Ge plasmas are calculated by DCA-UTA-SRCI and are in agreement with the experimental opacity data. Therefore, the theoretical method (DCA-UTA-SRCI) verified by experimental measurements will not only be a basic tool to provide “precision” opacity data for the inertial confinement fusion research (ICF) and studies in stellar physics but also can be used to analyze the relevant diagnostic measurements for ICF plasmas. 相似文献

The influence of external uniaxial stress on the different indium-donor complexes in silicon has been studied using the perturbed γ –γ angular correlation (PAC) method. Such effect of an applied stress is detected by means of the probe atoms situated at different complexes in the sample. The current results showed that the responses of the probes in an extrinsic silicon samples are found to be dissimilar for the same value of stress. Such change in the local environments of the probe atoms could be associated with the various strain field created by the implantations of varied size of impurities. The phosphorous implantation in silicon has even lead to the complete absence of observable effect of the applied stress suggesting significant lose of the elasticity of the sample. 相似文献
