Wegner estimate for sparse and other generalized alloy type potentials

We prove a Wegner estimate for generalized alloy type models at negative energies (Theorems 8 and 13). The single site potential is assumed to be non-positive. The random potential does not need to be stationary with respect to translations from a lattice. Actually, the set of points to which the individual single site potentials are attached, needs only to satisfy a certain density condition. The distribution of the coupling constants is assumed to have a bounded density only in the energy region where we prove the Wegner estimate.     

An exact estimate of the boundary behavior of functions from hardy-sobolev classes in the critical case

In the critical case αp=n functions from the Hardy-Sobolev spacesH _α ^p (B ⁿ ) have a limit almost everywhere on the boundary along certain regions of exponential contact with the boundary. It is proved in the paper that the maximal operator associated with these regions is bounded as an operator fromH _α ^p (B ⁿ ) toL ^p (ϖB ⁿ ). Darboux transformation and elementary exact solutions of the Schrödinger equation

Darboux transformation is applied to three classical potentials, namely the harmonic oscillator, effective Coulomb and Morse potentials to generate exactly solvable potentials of elementary form. For every potential, the isospectral families of potentials are constructed. For almost all potentials, a set of normalized discrete spectrum wave functions is given.

算子半稳定分布的分解

JAJTE于1977年提出了算子半稳定分布的概念,并给出了满的算子半稳定分布μ的刻画:存在c(0＜c＜1),h∈RN,和RN上非奇异线性算子B,使得μc=Bμ*δ(h)成立.作者利用μ的对称群给出μc=Bμ*δ(h)的B,再利用B的最小多项式具体给出μ的分解,把μ分解为简单的Poisson部分和Gauss部分.     

Conservative finite-difference scheme for the problem of propagation of a femtosecond pulse in a nonlinear photonic crystal with nonreflecting boundary conditions

Conservative finite-difference schemes are constructed for the problems of self-action of a femtosecond laser pulse and of second-harmonic generation in a one-dimensional nonlinear photonic crystal with nonreflecting boundary conditions. The invariants of the governing equations are found taking into account these conditions. Nonreflecting conditions substantially improve the efficiency of conservative finite-difference schemes used in the modeling of complex nonlinear effects in photonic crystals, which require much smaller steps in space and time than those used in the case of linear propagation. The numerical experiments performed show that the boundary reflects no more than 0.01% of the transmitted energy, which corresponds to the truncation error in the boundary conditions. The amplitude of the reflected pulse is less than that of the pulse transmitted through the boundary by two (and more) orders of magnitude. The simulation is based on the approach proposed by the authors for the given class of problems.
