光码分多址系统中光学相关接收机判决阈值的分析

介绍了光码分多址系统中常用地址码（一维扩时码、二维码和三维码）的特点，并对它们各自的互相关均值和方差进行了理论分析。基于非相干光码分多址系统中光学相关接收机的基本原理，结合不同的用户地址码，对系统误码率性能进行了分析，得到了接收机最佳判决阈值与地址码基本特性参数和系统同时用户数间的关系。最后，给出了数值仿真结果。结果表明，对于采用特定地址码的光码分多址系统，只有选择合适的接收机判决阈值，系统的误码率性能才能达到最佳。研究结果对光码分多址系统中接收机判决阈值的选取具有一定的参考作用。     

Reductions of interval nonlinear programming problem

A general nonlinear programming problem with interval functions is considered. Two reductions of this problem to the deterministic nonlinear programming problem are proposed, and illustrative examples are discussed.     

Numerical solution of the three‐dimensional parabolic equation with an integral condition

Developement of numerical methods for obtaining approximate solutions to the three dimensional diffusion equation with an integral condition will be carried out. The numerical techniques discussed are based on the fully explicit (1,7) finite difference technique and the fully implicit (7,1) finite difference method and the (7,7) Crank‐Nicolson type finite difference formula. The new developed methods are tested on a problem. Truncation error analysis and numerical examples are used to illustrate the accuracy of the new algorithms. The results of numerical testing show that the numerical methods based on the finite difference techniques discussed in the present article produce good results. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Indirect Oxidation of Organic Substances by Intermediates of the Oxygen Reduction

Results of two urgent and practically important directions of research on the indirect oxidation of organic compounds by highly reactive intermediates generated electrochemically from oxygen (HO₂ ^–, HO₂ ^·, HO^·) are considered and orderly arranged. The studies in question are the indirect synthesis and mineralization of organic toxicants in waste water.     

Polyaniline/12-phosphotungstic acid/V<Subscript>2</Subscript>O<Subscript>5</Subscript> nanocomposite and its platinum analog as oxygen reduction electrocatalysts

A guest-host nanocomposite based on electroconducting polyaniline doped with 12-phosphotungstic acid and V₂O₅ as well as its bifunctional analog containing not more than 5 mass% nanosized platinum were obtained. A study was carried out on the structure of these nanocomposites, their redox characteristics, and electrocatalytic activity in the reduction of oxygen. These nanocomposites were found to display catalytic properties in the electrochemical reduction of oxygen, while the presence of even a slight amount of nanosized platinum in the bifunctional composite leads to a significant increase in its electrocatalytic activity. __________ Translated from Teoreticheskaya i éksperimental’naya Khimiya, Vol. 43, No. 5, pp. 307–314, September–October, 2007.     

Crystallographic report: Diiodo[tris(2‐pyridyl)amine]mercury(II), [(C5H4N)3N]HgI2

In mononuclear HgI₂[(C₅H₄N)₃N], mercury is tetrahedrally coordinated by two nitrogen atoms of a tris(2‐pyridyl)amine ligand and two iodides. Baker＇s Yeast Mediated Reduction of Optically Active Diketone

Baker‘s yeast mediated reduction of optically active diketone is described. The two keto groups are efficiently differentiated and the ee value of the recovered material is considerably raised. It affords highly optically active key intermediates efficiently for the synthesis of natural polyhydroxylated agarofuran products.     

An Unusual Reductive Ring-opening Reaction of Phthalimide with Sodium Hydride in DMF

An unusual reductive ring-opening reaction of phthalimide with sodium hydride in anhydrous DMF was observed for the first time. The presumed mechanism was described in detail.     

Analysis of finite dimensional approximations to a class of partial differential equations

In this paper, a unified approach for analysing finite dimensional approximations to a class of partial differential equations boundary value problems (second‐kind Fredholm differential equations) is introduced. The approach is shown to be general despite of its extremely simple form. In particular, it is expected to be useful in the convergence analysis of finite element methods for solving PDE problems.
