Azobenzene‐Functionalized Cage Silsesquioxanes as Inorganic–Organic Hybrid,Photoresponsive, Nanoscale,Building Blocks

Mono‐ and octa‐azobenzene‐functionalized cage silsesquioxanes were easily synthesized by the reaction of 4‐bromoazobenzene with monovinyl‐substituted octasilsesquioxane and cubic octavinylsilsesquioxane through the Heck coupling reaction. Excited‐state energies obtained from time‐dependent density functional theory (TDDFT) and the CAM‐B3LYP functional correlate very well with experimental trans–cis photoisomerization results from UV/Vis spectroscopy. These azobenzene‐functionalized cages exhibit good thermal stability and are fluorescent with maximum emission at approximately 400 nm, making them potential materials for blue‐light emission.

Viscoelastic properties of amorphous polymers 3: low molecular weight poly(methylphenylsiloxane)

By making creep and recoverable creep measurements of a nearly monodisperse low molecular weight poly(methyl phenyl siloxane) sample, we have found on decreasing temperature towardsT _g that there is continuously a change in the viscoelastic spectrum concomitant with a decrease of the steadystate recoverable compliance. This behavior is exactly the same as previously observed in low molecular weight poly(styrene), proving that this spectacular anomaly in the viscoelasticity of low molecular weight polymers is general and deserves an explanation. Photon correlation spectroscopic measurements performed on the same sample have extended the observation of the viscoelastic response to shorter times and the result corroborates the trend of variation established by the creep data.Dedicated to Prof.Dr. E. T1Effects in Sequential Dynamic Susceptibility Contrast Experiments

Residual effects of an initial bolus of gadolinium contrast agent have been previously demonstrated in sequential dynamic susceptibility contrast MR experiments. While these residual effects quickly reach a saturation steady state, their etiology is uncertain, and they can lead to spurious estimates of hemodynamic parameters in activation experiments. The possible influence ofT₁effects is now investigated with experiments in whichT₁weighting is varied as well as with serial regionalT₁measurements. Little evidence for significant residualT₁effects is found, suggesting instead that susceptibility effects underlie these observations. An initial saturation dose of contrast agent minimizes this effect.     

Computation of limit periodic continued fractions. A survey

Over the last 20 years a large number of algorithms has been published to improve the speed and domain of convergence of continued fractions. In this survey we show that these algorithms are strongly related. 本文对带时间窗的车辆路线安排扰动恢复问题进行了讨论,分析了各种可能的扰动:增加减少客户,时间窗、客户需求及路线可行性的扰动,构造了扰动模型.利用禁忌搜索算法对问题进行求解,同时通过对模型参数重新设置,得到了多个满足要求的不同的解,这样使解更具有实际可行性和有效性.     

Isotopic families of contact manifolds for elliptic PDE

A test for a function to be a solution of an elliptic PDE is given in terms of extensions, as solutions, from the boundaries inside the domains belonging to an isotopic family. It generalizes a result of Ehrenpreis for spheres moved along a straight line.

The authors achieved the temporal coherent control in an Er^3＋ doped telluride glass, one kind of disordered solids. The upconversion at 670 nm was modulated and the dephasing time was simulated as 300 fs. Moreover, the photon echo signal gave the dephasing time due to the phonon interaction. The agreement between the two data indicates that the interaction between the wavepacket and the phonon leads to the fast disappearance of wavepackets interference, which is helpful for the tech- nique to be applied to the disordered solids.     

时间分辨光子计数系统的研究和应用

对由SPCM-AQR-14和MCS组成的时间分辨光子计数系统进行了研究,分析了SPCM和MCS的工作原理及主要特性.利用该系统对磷光物质和洋葱的延迟发光进行了测量,对它们的光子计数率曲线进行拟合,发现其光强衰减符合双曲线规律.
