In the zero-order approximation, we use the perturbation method of parameter with small magnitude to prove that the harmonic frequency in the solution of the equation is close to that of the driving force when the chaotic system from Duffing-Holmes equation stays in the stable periodic state, which is the physical mechanism of the detection of the unknown frequency of weak harmonic signal using the chaotic theory. The result of the simulation experiment shows that the method proposed in this paper, by which one can determine the frequency of the stable system from the number of circulation change of the phase state directionally across a fixed phase state point (x,\dot{x}) in fixed simulation time period, is successful. Analyzing the effects of the damping ratio on the chaotic detection result, one can see that for different frequency ranges it is necessary to carefully choose corresponding damping ratio α. 相似文献

In this work, we consider a nonlinear system of viscoelastic equations of Kirchhoff type with degenerate damping and source terms in a bounded domain. Under suitable assumptions on the initial data, the relaxation functions gi(i = 1,2) and degenerate damping terms, we obtain global existence of solutions. Then, we prove the general decay result. AbstractIn this article, a new relationship is proposed for the fictitious mass of viscous dynamic relaxation (DR) method. First, incremental equations are derived for DR steps. Using transformed Gershgörin theory, a new relationship is achieved for fictitious mass of viscous DR by formulating modified time step ratio. This procedure presents a new algorithm for the viscous DR method. To evaluate the numerical efficiency of the proposed method, some 2D and 3D truss and frame structures are analyzed with elastic linear and geometrically nonlinear behaviors. Results show that by using the proposed algorithm for fictitious mass, the convergence rate of the viscous DR method is improved so that the proposed algorithm presents the structural response with lower iterations in comparison with other common DR techniques.Communicated by Joerg Fehr. 相似文献

Piezoelectric shunt damping has been widely used in vibration suppression, sound absorption, noise elimination, etc.In such applications, the variant elastic constants of piezoelectric materials are the essential parameters that determine the performances of the systems, when piezoelectric materials are shunted to normal electrical elements, i.e., resistance,inductance and capacitance, as well as their combinations. In recent years, many researches have demonstrated that the wideband sound absorption or vibration suppression can be realized with piezoelectric materials shunted to negative capacitance. However, most systems using the negative-capacitance shunt circuits show their instabilities in the optimal condition, which are essentially caused by the singular variation properties of elastic constants of piezoelectric materials when shunted to negative capacitance. This paper aims at investigating the effects of negative-capacitance shunt circuits on elastic constants of a piezoelectric ceramic plate through theoretical analyses and experiments, which gives an rational explanation for why negative capacitance shunt circuit is prone to make structure instable. First, the relationships between the elastic constants c_(11), c_(33), c_(55) of the piezoelectric ceramic and the shunt negative capacitance are derived with the piezoelectric constitutive law theoretically. Then, an experimental setup is established to verify the theoretical results through observing the change of elastic constant c_(55) of the shunted piezoelectric plate with the variation of negative capacitance.The experimental results are in good agreement with the theoretical analyses, which reveals that the instability of the shunt damping system is essentially caused by the singular variation property of the elastic constants of piezoelectric material shunted to negative capacitance. 相似文献

Two different methods to model a point absorber wave energy converter(WEC)with direct drive linear power take-off(PTO)are proposed in the present study:the frequency domain(FD)method and the time domain(TD)method.In the FD analysis,the frequency response function(FRF)of the WEC device is obtained via the equation of motion,and the expressions of power capture width in regular and random waves are derived as well.In the TD modeling,based on a state space approximation of the convolution term in the motion equation,both regular wave and random wave simulations are carried out.The regular wave simulation results indicate that the state space approximation is sufficiently accurate and the capture width reaches the maximum in the vicinity of the natural frequency.In the random wave simulations,the effects of buoy size,the PTO damping and wave climate on the power capture width are discussed in detail,which leads to the conclusion that the capture widths are influenced by the natural frequency of the WEC device,peak frequency of the wave spectrum,the amplitude of FRF and PTO damping.Furthermore,the increase of the capture width is at the cost of a relatively large buoy size and PTO damping when control is not included. 相似文献
