A slit viscometer has been constructed to measure the viscosity of aqueous systems at temperatures up to 140 °C. Liquid is forced backwards and forwards through the slit by the use of varying air pressure. The flow rate is obtained from the time for the liquid to pass conductivity probes located in liquid reservoirs either side of the slit. The pressure difference between two points on the slit wall is determined using a differential pressure transducer. By varying the slit height measurements can be made on liquids with viscosities in the range 10 to 10–3 Pa s. Shear rates from 10 to 104 s–1 can be achieved. A simple microcomputer control system enables the shear stress to be automatically increased and decreased stepwise. Representative data on polysaccharide solutions and strach suspensions are presented. The viscometer is particularly well-suited for following temperature-dependent biopolymer transitions and the thermal depolymerisation of water soluble polymers.  相似文献

District heating plants are becoming more common in European cities. These systems make it possible to furnish users with warm water while locating the production plants in the outskirts having the double benefit of lowering the impact of pollution on the center of the city and achieving better conversion performances. In order to amortize the costs throughout the year, the system often includes a combined heat and power (CHP) plant, to exploit the energy during the summer as well, when the demand for warm water decreases. A linear programming model for the optimal resource management of such a plant is presented and some results for a real case are reported. A distribution network design problem is also addressed and solved by means of mixed integer linear programming.  相似文献

The elastic constants of single crystal galena have been determined from the measured ultrasonic velocities down to liquid helium temperature. A cryostat incorporating an arrangement to inject the liquid bonding material at low temperature is described. At 5 K, the values of elastic constants are C11=14.90, C12=3.51 and C44=2.92×1010 N/m2.  相似文献

Abstract

A brief survey of our studies of free and self-trapped excitons (FE and STE) in alkali halide crystals under hydrostatic pressure up to 12.5 kbar at 4.2–140 K is presented. Main attention is paid to the following effects observed: (1) the strong coupling of three energy levels of FE in CsI revealing itself as an exciton analog of pressure-scanned Fermi resonance; (2) emergence of a new emission band of STE in CsI under pressure; (3) a large pressure shift of the thermal quenching curve for STE emission in NaCl.  相似文献

Traceability in illuminance measurements at the National Metrology Institute of Turkey (TüBITAK-UME) was established in 2003 with a detector-based realization. The new measurement technique was developed for the determination of illuminance responsivity and upgrating of the illuminance scale. The unit of the illuminance responsivity, in A/lx, was measured with an expanded uncertainty of 0.2% (k = 2) by supplying using the developed scanning technique for the calculation of color correction factor. The surface of a radiometer was scanned using a double-monochromator facility upgraded with an x-y scanning system. The illuminance responsivity as a function of bandpass and temperature were also investigated in this study. To use a radiometer in the photometric applications of metrology, a light-sensitive device, a so-called trap detector, was characterized by measuring the absolute responsivity, the non-linearity, and spatial non-uniformity.  相似文献

The electron spectrum of δ-doped quantum wells in n-GaAs is investigated by means of the Thomas-Fermi (TF) method at finite temperatures. This method shows rapid convergence and good accuracy. Under two-dimensional (2D) doping concentrations 1013…2×1013 cm−2, the simplest TF method (T=0 K) can be used to calculate the profiles of the potential well up to T≈200 K. The simplest TF method yields correct results for the electron concentrations and the differences of the electron energy sublevels in the quantum well up to room temperature (T∼300 K).  相似文献

利用平面波赝势密度泛函理论研究了AuCu3的结构性质,得到了晶格常数a、体弹模量 、体弹模量对压强的一阶导数 ,计算结果与实验值相吻合。通过准谐德拜模型成功地获得了高温高压下AuCu3的状态方程、热膨胀系数、热容及德拜温度。  相似文献

低温电力电子技术的发展日益得到重视,主要是由于功率器件(如功率MOSFET和IGBT等)在低温下表现出更好的性能,如更低的通态阻抗,更高的开关频率等.为了实验测试和充分利用功率器件在低温下的这些性能,急需寻找或设计可以在低温下稳定可靠工作的功率器件驱动电路.我们在对目前商业化的驱动芯片进行分析的基础上,从中挑选了三种在低温下进行实验,对其输出波形随温度的变化进行研究,首次发现了可以在-196℃(77K)稳定工作的驱动芯片,其驱动性能基本能够满足低温下驱动功率器件的要求,为功率器件低温特性测试及低温功率变换电路的设计奠定了坚实的基础.  相似文献

低温光学系统对于在空间探测微弱红外目标有重要的意义。无热效应的光学系统设计保证光学系统的像质不受温度变化的影响。有限元分析方法的结构优化设计,在确保光学性能的前提下使系统的重量达到最轻。特殊的制造工艺充分消除零件内部应力。低温检测的结果表明,光学系统的温度从室温降到100K的低温,在温度变化185K的条件下,系统波面误差几乎没有变化,光学系统都能达到衍射极限的成像质量。  相似文献
