A simple method for the speciation analysis of bio-accessible arsenic (As) in rice was developed using a continuous on-line leaching method to release the bio-accessible fraction. The continuous on-line leaching method has several advantages over commonly used batch methods including quicker and easier sample preparation, reduced risk of contamination and access to real time leaching data. The bio-accessibility of As in the samples was monitored using inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). Results from a certified reference material as well as cooked and uncooked white rice showed that the majority of As was leached by saliva. Results obtained using the continuous on-line leaching method were comparable to those obtained using a batch method. Speciation analysis of the saliva leachate was performed using ion exchange chromatography coupled to ICP-MS. The four most toxic forms of As (As(III), monomethylarsonic acid (MMA), dimethylarsinic acid (DMA) and As(V)) were clearly separated within 5 min in a single chromatographic run. Over 92% of bio-accessible As in the certified reference material and uncooked white rice sample was in the form of DMA and As(V), whereas it was present as DMA and As(III) in the cooked white rice. 相似文献

This study investigated the inductively coupled plasma etching reactor and RF coils developed by North Microelectronic Corporation. Full three dimensional simulations were made at different discharge conditions. The simulations examined and compared the distribution and non-uniformity of several plasma parameters at a fixed position upon the wafer at different pressures and coil currents. These parameters included electron density, electron temperature and power deposition. The results demonstrate that the electron density, power deposition and uniformity increase with either higher pressure or stronger coil currents, while the electron temperature decreases at this condition. Coil number increase can reduce the non-uniformity of parameters in the spatial distribution. The linear relationship between power deposition and electron density does not always exist. The comparison between simulation results and experiment results is also presented in the paper. 相似文献

We develop a bead–spring Brownian dynamics model for simulating the topological interactions between polymers and thin obstacles
and apply this method to electrophoretically translating DNA strands interacting with an immovable post. The use of a bead–spring
method allows for the simulation of entanglement interactions of polymer chains too long to be simulated using bead–rod or
pearl necklace models. Using stiff “FENE-Fraenkel” springs, we are able to model short chains as well. Our new method determines
the shortest distance between a spring and the post, calculates a repulsive force inversely related to this distance using
an exponential potential, and corrects for the rare situation when a spring passes beyond the post despite the repulsive interaction.
As an example problem, we consider single-chain collisions with a single post in weak electric fields. We explore a wide range
of chain lengths (25–1,515 Kuhn steps), and we find that the average delay produced by the collision is a function of both
the chain length and the Peclet number. Chains of all lengths reach the same upper limit at high Peclet number, but they follow
separate curves with similar slopes at lower Peclet number. Our results are consistent with published results for a 25-Kuhn-step
chain at Peclet number Pe = 10. Our new method is a general one that allows us to compute the effects of entanglements in
systems with rare entanglements and long chains that cannot be simulated by other more microscopic methods. 相似文献

Under investigation in this paper are two coupled integrable dispersionless (CID) equations modeling the dynamics of the current-fed string within an external magnetic field. Through a set of the dependent variable transformations, the bilinear forms for the CID equations are derived. Based on the Hirota method and symbolic computation, the analytic N-soliton solutions are presented. Infinitely many conservation laws for the CID equations are given through the known spectral problem. A plasma immersion ion implantation(PIII) system based on inductively coupled plasma(ICP) technology was designed. The PIII system had a cylindrical chamber, and a radio frequency(RF) power was used to sustain discharge and a pulsed voltage source was provided to bias the wafer. The RF power was coupled into chamber by a non-coplanar two-turn circular structure coil. A Langmuir probe was connected to the PIII system to diagnose the plasma parameters. The probe diagnosis indicated that plasma ion density of the system achieves 1017m-3, the uniformity of the ion density along radial direction achieves 3.53%. Boron (B) and phosphorus (P) doping experiments were performed on the system. Results from second ion mass spectrum (SIMS) tests showed that the measured injection depth is about 10nm and the shallowest is 8.6 nm (at 1018cm-3), the peak ion concentration is below the surface of the wafer, and the ion dose reaches above1015cm-2 and the abrupt 2.5 nm/decade. 相似文献

On the tangent bundle TSN-1 of the unit sphere SN-1, this paper reduces the coupled Burgers equations to two Neumann systems by using the nonlinearization of the Lax pair, whose Liouville integrability is displayed in the scheme of the r-matrix technique. Based on the Lax matrix of the Neumann systems, the Abel--Jacobi coordinates are appropriately chosen to straighten out the restricted Neumann flows on the complex torus, from which the new finite-gap solutions expressed by Riemann theta functions for the coupled Burgers equations are given in view of the Jacobi inversion. 相似文献

A spatially one dimensional coupled map lattice with a local and unidirectional coupling is introduced. This model is studied analytically by a perturbation theory that is valid for small coupling strength. In parameter space three phases with different ergodic behaviour are observed. Via coarse graining the deterministic model is mapped to a stochastic spin model that can be described by a master equation. Because of the anisotropic coupling non-equilibrium behaviour is found on the coarse grained level. However, the stationary statistical properties of the spin dynamics can still be described with a nearest neighbour Ising model whereby the ordering is predominantly antiferromagnetic. 相似文献
