From the normally ordered form of the density operator of a squeezed coherent state(SCS),we directly derive the compact expression of the SCS’s photon-number distribution(PND).Besides the known oscillation characteristics,we find that the PND is a periodic function with a period of π and extremely sensitive to phase.If the squeezing is strong enough,and the compound phase which is relevant to the complex squeezing and displacement parameters are assigned appropriate values,different oscillation behaviours in PND for even and odd photon numbers appear,respectively. 相似文献

The dynamic and the radiative properties of an excited three-level atom embedded in an anisotropic photonic crystal with two coherent bands are investigated.The relative position of the atom in a Wigner-Seitz cell is described with a position-dependent parameter θ(r0),which is used as the coherent parameter for the two bands.The result shows that the dynamic properties of the atomic system are not only determined by atomic transition frequencies,but also affected by the gap width and the coherence of the two bands.In addition,the spontaneous emission spectrum of the atomic transition in free space is discussed.The center and the intensity of the spectrum can be obviously manipulated via the coherent parameter. 相似文献

We present a method to improve the performance of a reservoir computer by keeping the reservoir fixed and increasing the number of output neurons. The additional neurons are nonlinear functions, typically chosen randomly, of the reservoir neurons. We demonstrate the interest of this expanded output layer on an experimental opto-electronic system subject to slow parameter drift which results in loss of performance. We can partially recover the lost performance by using the output layer expansion. The proposed scheme allows for a trade-off between performance gains and system complexity. 相似文献

The influence of atmospheric turbulence on the propagation of superimposed partially coherent Hermite-Gaussian (H-G) beams is studied in detail. The closed-form propagation equation of superimposed partially coherent H-G beams through atmospheric turbulence is derived. It is shown that the turbulence accelerates the evolution of three stages which superimposed partially coherent H-G beams undergo. The turbulence results in a beam spreading and a decrease of the maximum intensity. However, the larger the beam number M, the beam order m, the separate distance xd, and the smaller the beam correlation length σ0 are, the less the power focusability of superimposed partially coherent H-G beams is affected by the turbulence. Specially, superimposed partially coherent H-G beams are less sensitive to turbulence than superimposed fully ones, and than partially coherent H-G beams if the beam power focusability and the maximum intensity are taken as beam criterions. However, the maximum intensity of superimposed partially coherent H-G beams is less sensitive or more sensitive to turbulence than that of superimposed Gaussian Schell-model (GSM) beams depending on σ0. 相似文献

The effects of turbulent atmosphere on the spectral degree of polarization (SDP) of aberrated partially coherent flat-topped beam were studied. Analytical formula for the SDP was derived. Detailed analyses of the SDP demonstrate that it is strongly affected by astigmatic aberration when propagating through turbulent atmosphere. The effect of source parameters such as correlation length and order of flatness as well as the strength of the atmospheric turbulence effect () on the SDP were analysed. Using the entangled state representation of Wigner operator and some formulae related to the two-variable Hermite polynomials,
the Wigner function of the squeezed pair coherent state (SPCS) and its two marginal distributions are derived. Based on the
entangled Husimi operator introduced by Fan et al. (Phys. Lett. A 358:203, 2006) and the Weyl ordering invariance under similar transformations, we also obtain the Husimi function of the SPCS and its marginal
distribution functions. The comparison between the two quasibability functions shows that, for the same amount of information
included in two functions, the solving process of the Husimi function is simpler than that of the Wigner function.

We present an optical scheme to almost completely teleport a bipartite entangled coherent state using a four-partite cluster-type entangled coherent state as quantum channel. The scheme is based on optical elements such as beam splitters, phase shifters, and photon detectors. We also obtain the average fidelity of the teleportation process.
