Taking the Gaussian Schell-model beam as a typical example of partially coherent beams, this paper applies the simulated annealing (SA) algorithm to the design of phase plates for shaping partially coherent beams. A flow diagram is presented to illustrate the procedure of phase optimization by the SA algorithm. Numerical examples demonstrate the advantages of the SA algorithm in shaping partially coherent beams. An uniform flat-topped beam profile with maximum reconstruction error RE 〈 1.74% is achieved. We have evaluated the effects of recombination processes in a charge storage layer, either between trapped electrons and trapped holes or between trapped carriers and free carriers, on charge trapping memory cell's performances by numerical simulation. Recombination is an indispensable mechanism in charge trapping memory. It helps charge convert process between negative and positive charges in the charge storage layer during charge trapping memory programming/erasing operation. of Penning trap mass spectrometry to mass measurements of exotic nuclei has been extended considerably at ISOLTRAP by improving
and developing this double Penning trap mass spectrometer over the past two decades. The accurate determination of nuclear
binding energies far from stability includes nuclei that are produced at rates less than 100 ions/s and with half-lives well
below 100ms. The mass-resolving power reaches 107 corresponding to 10keV for medium heavy nuclei and the uncertainty of the resulting mass values has been pushed down to below

We propose a two-color scheme of atom waveguides and one-dimensional (1D) optical lattices using evanescent wave fields of different transverse modes around an optical micro/nano-fiber. The atom guide potential can be produced when the optical fiber carries a red-detuned light with TE01 mode and a blue-detuned light with HEll mode, and the 1D optical lattice potential can be produced when the red-detuned light is transformed to the superposition of the TE01 mode and HE11 mode. The two trapping potentials can be transformed to each other for accurately controlling mode transformation for the red-detuned light. We demonstrate a scalable architecture for coherent combining of pulsed fiber lasers.A new method for generating synchronous pulsed fiber lasers by direct phase modulation is proposed and investigated.It is shown that phase modulated mutually coupled laser array can be a steady synchronous pulsed fiber laser source.The synchronous pulsed fiber lasers are coherently combined with an invariable phase difference of π in adjacent lasers.Neither active phase control nor polarization control is taken in our experiment. 相似文献

In the paper we construct a new set of coherent states for a deformed Hamiltonian of the harmonic oscillator, previously introduced by Beckers, Debergh, and Szafraniec, which we have called the BDS-Hamiltonian. This Hamiltonian depends on the new creation operator a
+, i.e. the usual creation operator displaced with the real quantity . In order to construct the coherent states, we use a new measure in the Hilbert space of the Hamiltonian eigenstates, in fact we change the inner product. This ansatz assures that the set of eigenstates be orthonormalized and complete. In the new inner product space the BDS-Hamiltonian is self-adjoint. Using these coherent states, we construct the corresponding density operator and we find the P-distribution function of the unnormalized density operator of the BDS-Hamiltonian. We study time dependence of various measures of entanglement (covariance entanglement coefficient, purity entanglement coefficient, normalized distance coefficient, entropy coefficients) between resonantly coupled modes of the electromagnetic field in ideal cavities with oscillating boundaries. Two types of cavities are considered — a three-dimensional cavity possessing eigenfrequencies 3 = 31, whose wall oscillates at the frequency w = 21, and a one-dimensional (Fabry–Perot) cavity with an equidistant spectrum n = n1 where the distance between perfect mirrors oscillates at the frequencies 1 and 21. The behavior of entanglement measures in these cases turns out to be completely different, although all three coefficients demonstrate qualitatively similar time dependences in each case (except some specific situations where the covariance entanglement coefficient based on traces of covariance submatrices seems to be essentially more sensitive to entanglement than other measures, which are based on determinants of covariance submatrices). Different initial states of the field, namely, vacuum, squeezed vacuum, thermal, Fock, and even/odd coherent states, are considered. 相似文献
