Size distribution measurements and classification tests by a low pressure differential mobility analyzer (LPDMA) for nanometer-sized silver particles and cesium iodide particles under low pressure conditions (123–300 Torr) were performed using a transmission electron microscope (TEM) and the tandem DMA technique. When the ratio of the sheath gas flow rate and the aerosol gas flow rate was set at 5 : 1, the targeted sizes calculated from the classification voltage applied to the LPDMA at 160 Torr are found to be in good correlation with the count mean Feret diameter obtained from the TEM observation of the particles collected after a classification ranging from 6 to 25 nm, although the targeted sizes set by the LPDMA were approximately 15% greater than the count mean Feret diameter measured by the TEM after classification. The geometric standard deviations of DMA-classified particles measured by TEM and those obtained from the tandem DMA method ranged from 1.08 to 1.17 and from 1.05 to 1.13, respectively. They were slightly greater than the ideal geometric standard deviations (1.05) of the particles classified with the LPDMA, which was calculated by neglecting the broadening effects due to Brownian diffusion. We experimentally demonstrated the validity of our LPDMA system for size measurements and classification of the nanometer-sized particles under low pressure conditions.  相似文献

Dynamic mechanical behaviour of natural rubber-silica composites was studied by a frequency sweep method at different temperatures (40 °C,70 °C and 100 °C) using a dynamic mechanical analyzer and a rotorless rheometer, RPA, in an attempt to establish a correlation between the two. The composites with silica content up to 40 phr were studied. It was found that the dependence of dynamic modulus on the frequency as obtained from both the instruments followed a similar trend. This suggests that the dynamic mechanical properties of rubber compounds can be determined even during curing. A correlation could be arrived at between the two sets of data, making it possible to predict one set knowing the other. The impact of silane coupling agent, bis (3-triethoxysilylpropyl tetrasulphide), TESPT, on viscoelasticity was also investigated. The mechanical properties were improved in the presence of TESPT. Additionally, an increase in thermal stability was also observed in the presence of TESPT. Scanning electron micrographs showed the better filler dispersion in the case of silane-coupled silica composites.  相似文献

使用元素分析仪进行土壤、沉积物样品碳、氮含量检测时,样品前处理过程(烘干和酸化)、包样质量以及参考标准品等因素均会对检测结果造成影响.试验结果表明:酸化导致氮百分质量的测定结果降低2.6%~40.0%,碳百分质量的测定受包样质量的影响较大,使用的校正标准与被测样品越相似,校正结果越准确.  相似文献

Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) are the most common genetic polymorphisms and play a major role in many inherited diseases. Methylenetetrahydrofolate dehydrogenase 1 (MTHFD1) is one of the enzymes involved in folate metabolism. In the present study, the functional and structural consequences of nsSNPs of human MTHFD1 gene was analyzed using various computational tools like SIFT, PolyPhen2, PANTHER, PROVEAN, SNAP2, nsSNPAnalyzer, PhD-SNP, SNPs&GO, I-Mutant, MuPro, ConSurf, InterPro, NCBI Conserved Domain Search tool, ModPred, SPARKS-X, RAMPAGE, FT Site and PyMol. Out of 327 nsSNPs form human MTHFD1 gene, total 45 SNPs were predicted as functionally most significant SNPs, among which 17 were highly conserved and functional, 17 were highly conserved and structural residues. Among 45 most significant SNPs, 15 were predicted to be involved in post translational modifications. The p.Gly165Arg may interfere in homodimer interface formation. The p.Asn439Lys and p.Asp445Asn may interfere in binding interactions of MTHFD1 protein with cesium cation and potassium. The two SNPs (p.Asp562Gly and p.Gly637Cys) might interfere in interactions of MTHFD1 with ligand.  相似文献

Point-of-care testing (POCT) is a laboratory-medicine discipline that is evolving rapidly in analytical scope and clinical application. In this review, we first describe the state of the art of medical-laboratory tests that can be performed near the patient. At present, POCT ranges from basic blood-glucose measurement to complex viscoelastic coagulation assays. POCT shortens the time to clinical decision-making about additional testing or therapy, as delays are no longer caused by transport and preparation of clinical samples, and biochemical-test results are rapidly available at the point of care. Improved medical outcome and lower costs may ensue.Recent, evolving technological advances enable the development of novel POCT instruments. We review the underlying analytical techniques. If new instruments are not yet in practical use, it is often hard to decide whether the underlying analytical principle has real advantage over former methods. However, future utilization of POCT also depends on health-care trends and new areas of application. But, even today, it can be assumed that, for certain applications, near-patient testing is a useful complement to conventional laboratory analyses.  相似文献

The bulk of the analytical data of a long period was used for estimation of RSD values of the CHNS analysis results obtained by EuroVector EA-3000 in the single-reactor mode. It is shown that the accident error level is conducted with the sample preparation procedure as well as with the properties of the certain analyzed samples. It is established that the experimental obtained CHNS analysis error levels significantly differ from those given in the technical specifications. In case of analysis of sample with the unknown composition the accidental errors of determination of each element are comparable with the standard sample ones.  相似文献

This paper describes a fast and simple pressurized liquid extraction (PLE) method combined with gas chromatography coupled to ion trap tandem mass spectrometry (GC-ITMS-MS) for the determination of polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs) in fish samples. The method is based on a simultaneous extraction/clean-up step to reduce analysis time and solvent consumption. The effect of several PLE operating conditions, such as solvent type, extraction temperature and time, number of cycles, and lipid retainer, was optimized to obtain maximum recovery of the analytes with the minimum presence of matrix-interfering compounds. The best conditions were obtained at 100 °C with n-hexane using 15 g of silica modified with sulphuric acid (44%, w/w) as sorbent for lipid removal. Quality parameters of the GC-ITMS-MS method were established, achieving good linearity (r > 0.998), between 1 and 500 ng ml−1, and low instrumental limits of detection (0.14-0.76 pg injected). For the whole method, limits of detection ranging from 0.03 to 0.16 ng g−1 wet weight and good precision (RSD < 16%) were obtained.  相似文献

样品直接置于石英舟中,在高纯氧气氛中燃烧,释放出的汞与齐化管中的金形成金汞齐,于900℃加热释放出汞蒸气,用冷原子吸收法测定汞的含量。方法的检出限为0.003 ng,测定结果的相对标准偏差为1.13%(n=6),加标回收率为90.5%~97.0%,并用标准样品对方法进行了确证。该方法具有良好的精密度与准确度,适用于明胶中微量汞的测定。  相似文献
