Quantum systems with quadratic Hamiltonians are considered. Some results about the time evolution of homogeneous polynomials and of quantum correlation functions are given. The image of arbitrary orbit of Weyl–Heisenberg group under this time evolution is shown to be again an orbit of this group. For quantum free particle it is shown that its time evolution intersects arbitrary such orbit at most once. The external cavity feedback of a broad-area laser diode is investigated. In Fourier optic methods, the inserted prism in an external cavity can be interpreted as a spatial filter in the Fourier plane of the laser diode. The transverse mode can be selected by changing the position of the filter. As the result of a self-consistency theoretical analysis, the output beam of the external cavity has a single-lobed far-field profile. It agrees well with the experiment result. The beam times-diffraction-limit-factor M2 is measured to be 1.16.  相似文献

Feedback is a significant strategy for the control of quantum system. Information acquisition is the greatest difficulty in quantum feedback applications. After discussing several basic methods for information acquisition, we review three kinds of quantum feedback control strategies: quantum feedback control with measurement, coherent quantum feedback, and quantum feedback control based on cloning and recognition. The first feedback strategy can effectively acquire information, but it destroys the coherence in feedback loop. On the contrary, coherent quantum feedback does not destroy the coherence, but the capability of information acquisition is limited. However, the third feedback scheme gives a compromise between information acquisition and measurement disturbance.  相似文献

The propagation of premixed laminar flame in ducts of circular cross-section considering a thermal-diffusive model is investigated numerically. Heat losses by conduction to the channels walls are taken into account using the thermally thin wall regime. The effects and the relationship between thickness and diameter of the tube with the flame speed propagation are studied and the quenching condition is obtained as a function of the heat-loss parameter. The mathematical model employs the axisymmetric energy and species equations. The calculations are based on a two-step chemistry, with an Arrhenius, energetically neutral, radical production reaction followed by an exothermic radical recombination reaction. For large values of the heat-loss parameter, the wall temperature is close to the free stream temperature and all the heat losses through the wall are convected away. No heat feedback occurs. On the other hand, for small values of the heat-loss parameter, a feedback mechanism occurs by transferring heat from the burned gas to the fresh mixture along the tube wall. For values of the heat-loss parameter of order unity, the heat feedback mechanism is able to sustain the flame propagation and the quenching condition disappears, producing an almost planar flame front as the propagation velocity reduces. For this two-step reaction mechanism, the radical species behaviour at the duct walls seems to have negligible effect on the quenching process.  相似文献

The structure and optical properties of the films of ternary compounds AgInSe2, CuInSe2 and Cu x Ag1–x InSe2 solid solutions obtained by pulsed laser evaporation are investigated. It has been established that the films like bulk crystals have the structure of chalcopyrite. By the transmission and reflection spectra near the edge of natural absorption the refractive index and coefficient of optical absorption are calculated and the energies of interband transitions and the crystalline and spinorbit splitting are determined.  相似文献

We propose a photothermal phase-modulating laser diode interferometer equipped with a high-speed feedback control system. The CCD camera’s shutter-function raises the modulating frequency, which in turn elicits a higher feedback response, thus enabling us to eliminate nearly all external disturbance. With the recent application of a system purpose-built for discriminating between numerous fringe sequences, we have also reduced processing time.  相似文献

According to the volatility feedback effect, an unexpected increase in squared volatility leads to an immediate decline in the price–dividend ratio. In this paper, we consider the properties of stock price dynamics and option valuations under the volatility feedback effect by modeling the joint dynamics of stock price, dividends, and volatility in continuous time. Most importantly, our model predicts the negative effect of an increase in squared return volatility on the value of deep-in-the-money call options and, furthermore, attempts to explain the volatility puzzle. We theoretically demonstrate a mechanism by which the market price of diffusion return risk, or an equity risk-premium, affects option prices and empirically illustrate how to identify that mechanism using forward-looking information on option contracts. Our theoretical and empirical results support the relevance of the volatility feedback effect. Overall, the results indicate that the prevailing practice of ignoring the time-varying dividend yield in option pricing can lead to oversimplification of the stock market dynamics.  相似文献

A simple method based on Sagnac interferometric spectroscopy (SIS) is applied for frequency stabilization of diode lasers. Sagnac interferometric spectra of rubidium vapor are investigated both theoretically and experimentally. The interference signal at the output of the Sagnac interferometer displays a sharp dispersion feature near the atomic resonance. This dispersion curve is used as the feedback error signal to stabilize the laser frequency. Linewidth of a diode laser is stabilized down to 1 MHz by this modulation-free method.  相似文献
