The D*D1(2420) and DD'*(2600) interactions are studied in a one-boson-exchange model. Isovector bound state solutions with spin parity JP=1+ are found from the D*D1(2420) interaction, which may be related to the observed charged charmonium-like state Z(4430). We study charmed baryon resonances that are generated dynamically from a coupled-channel unitary approach that implements heavy-quark symmetry. Some states can already be identified with experimental observations, such as Ac(2595), Ac(2660), Ec(2902) or Ac(2941), while others need a compilation of more experimental data as well as an extension of the model to include higher order contributions. We consider the SU(4) Skyrme model with explicit chiral and flavour symmetry-breaking terms. Using the masses of the 15-plet

We study the perspectives of resonant and nonresonant charmed-meson production in ˉp + A reactions within the Multiple Scattering Monte Carlo (MSMC) approach. We calculate the production of the resonances Ψ(3770),Ψ(4040)
and Ψ(4160) on various nuclei, their propagation and decay to D,ˉD, D
*,ˉD*, D
s,ˉDs in the medium and vacuum, respectively. The modifications of the open charm vector mesons in the nuclear medium are found
to be rather moderate or even small such that dilepton spectroscopy will require an invariant mass resolution of a few MeV.
Furthermore, the elastic and inelastic interactions of the open charm mesons in the medium are taken into account, which can
be related to (u, d )-, s- or c-quark exchange with nucleons. It is found that by studying the D/ˉD ratio for low momenta in the laboratory ( ? 2 - 2.2 GeV/c) as a function of the target mass A stringent constraints on the c-quark exchange cross-section can be obtained. The Babar Collaboration announced two new excited charmed baryons Ξc(3055)+ and Ξc(3123)+. We study their strong decays assuming they are D-wave states. Some assignments are excluded by comparing our numerical results with the experimental values of the total widths of Ξc(3055)+ and Ξc(3123)+. Photoproduction of η -mesons was studied with the Crystal-Barrel detector at ELSA for photon energies in the range from 0.75
to 3GeV. Total and differential cross-sections are presented. The η mesons are detected in two decay modes, in η → 2γ and
in η → 3π0 → 6γ . The cross-sections vary slowly as functions of energy and η production angle suggesting that only few resonances make
significant contributions to the cross-section. For photon energies above 1.5GeV, the differential cross-sections show a strong
forward peak due to meson exchanges in the t channel. A comparison of the η -photoproduction cross-sections with SAID and MAID as well as with a partial-wave analysis
performed on our data in combination with other data sets shows good agreement. The Bonn-Gatchina partial-wave analysis suggests
that the largest contribution to η photoproduction for energies below 3GeV proceeds via three resonances, the well-known N(1535)S
11 , via N(1720)P
13 , and a newly suggested N(2070)D

The MILC Collaboration has been performing realistic simulations of full QCD with 2 + 1 flavors of improved staggered quarks.
Our simulations allow for controlled continuum and chiral extrapolations. I present results for the light pseudoscalar sector:
masses and decay constants, quark masses and Gasser-Leutwyler low-energy constants. In addition I will present some results
for heavy-light mesons, decay constants and semileptonic form factors, obtained in collaboration with the HPQCD and Fermilab
lattice Collaborations. Such calculations will help in the extraction of CKM matrix elements from experimental measurements. 相似文献
