聚苯胺光诱导激子和极化子的动力学研究

此文研究了三种不同分子结构的聚苯胺（本征态聚苯胺，间位聚苯胺和掺入有机玻璃的掺杂态聚苯胺）的飞秒非线性光学响应过程。用飞秒时间分辨吸收光谱技术测量了三种样品的激子和极化子的光激发和弛豫过程。从一个三能级模型出发，分析了上述过程的来源。最后讨论了存在于聚苯胺中的这种超快驰豫过程在光学双稳器件中的应用     

Numerical analysis of waveguide-enhanced optical bistability

We present the results of a simulation study of a multilayer structure for which strongly enhanced (resonant) electric fields are produced at the surface of, and in the interior of, a planar waveguide which is evanescently coupled to an incoming beam in a prism geometry. The resulting field enhancements can far exceed those associated with the well-known surface plasmon resonance in a typical silver film excited in the conventional attenuated total reflection geometry. Simulations are performed for optical bistability for the case of a typical YAG laser beam coupled to a zinc oxide (ZnO) waveguide, demonstrating that the effect should occur for reasonable values of the parameters involved.     

基于注入锁定法布里-珀罗激光器的光学双稳态及光存储研究

研究基于注入锁定法布里-珀罗激光器的全光双稳态效应及其在全光存储中的应用. 进行了法布里-珀罗激光器的注入锁定的实验研究, 对注入锁定的法布里-珀罗激光器的输出功率特性进行实验分析, 得到了不同注入光波长失谐量对迟滞曲线的门限宽度和消光比的影响. 进一步, 通过对控制信号功率的合理设置, 实现了对10 Gb/s输入信号的2.5 GHz光存储验证了利用注入锁定法布里-珀罗激光器实现高速全光存储的可行性, 在高速光纤通信领域具有极大的应用价值.     

Cavity optomechanics with cold atomic gas

We present a tutorial review on the topics related to current development in cavity optomechanics, with special emphasis on cavity optomechanical effects with ultracold gases, Bose-Einstein condensates, and spinor Bose-Einstein condensates. Topics including the quantum model and nonlinearity of the cavity optomechanics, the principles of optomechanical cooling, radiation-pressure-induced nonlinear states, the chaotic dynamics in a condensate-mirror-hybrid optomechanical setup, and the spin-mixing dynamics controlled by optical cavities are covered.     

Nonlinear optical media in photonic crystal waveguides: Intrinsic localized modes and device applications

A review is given of some of the properties of photonic crystal waveguides containing or interacting with nonlinear optical media including discussions of potential device applications. An introduction is given to photonic crystals, photonic crystal waveguide technologies, the properties of Kerr nonlinear dielectric media, the properties of new types of excitations in these systems known as intrinsic localized modes, and optical bistability. Device designs for switches, waveguide couplers, interferometers, transistors, photonic crystal receivers and transmitters, and photonic crystal sensors are reviewed. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Optical bistability of a thin layer of a substance with quasiresonance polarizability components

Optical-bistability conditions for a thin (smaller than the wavelength of the acting laser radiation) surface layer of resonance atoms are calculated with allowance for the influence of the polarizing fields of transitions adjacent to the resonance one and allowed in the electrodipole approximation on the transmissivity of the medium of the layer. It is noted that the change in the threshold bistability characteristics is due to the influence of the self-modulation broadening of the line of the laser field occurring in the thin resonancepolarized layer on the effective level of its absorption. 啁啾的引入对线性负切趾型布拉格光栅双稳特性的影响

基于耦合模理论，对线性负切趾型布拉格光栅中引入啁啾后其双稳特性的变化进行了研究.结果表明：引入正啁啾有利于改善线性负切趾型布拉格光栅的双稳态性能；通过合理选择正啁啾、线性负切趾型布拉格光栅的长度，可对其双稳态性能进行进一步优化. 关键词： 啁啾 线性负切趾布拉格光栅 双稳     

Optical Bistability in Three-Component Solutions of Complex Molecules

The possibility of realizing internal optical bistability in solutions of complex polar molecules in binary solvents is theoretically investigated. The hysteresis dependences of absorption on the exciting-radiation intensity for these solutions are shown to be related to the cooperative nature of the process of nonspecific solvation.     

具有非线性缺陷的光子晶体的局域模

采用传输矩阵的方法，严格导出一维具有克尔非线性缺陷的光子晶体的局域模频率方程。局域模频率依赖于局域光强。取负克尔系数时，随着局域光强的增加，局域模频率从下带边出现，在带隙间上升，最后消失在上带边。在给定人射光频率下，随着人射光强的变化，系统呈现出双稳态。这种光学稳态性质则由局域模频率的移动引起的。
