利用二维空间的面积,提出了一个新的区间数可能度的定义,并给出了简单实用的计算公式和证明了相关的性质,最后,通过实例说明了该定义的实用性.     

Means of unitaries, conjugations, and the Friedrichs operator

If C is a conjugation (an isometric, conjugate-linear involution) on a separable complex Hilbert space H, then T∈B(H) is called C-symmetric if T=CT^∗C. In this note we prove that each C-symmetric contraction T is the mean of two C-symmetric unitary operators. We discuss several corollaries and an application to the Friedrichs operator of a planar domain.

Hypercyclic subspaces in Fréchet spaces

In this note, we show that every infinite-dimensional separable Fréchet space admitting a continuous norm supports an operator for which there is an infinite-dimensional closed subspace consisting, except for zero, of hypercyclic vectors. The family of such operators is even dense in the space of bounded operators when endowed with the strong operator topology. This completes the earlier work of several authors.

     

Local Perturbations of Quantum Waveguides

We give necessary and sufficient conditions for the occurrence of eigenvalues of the Schrodinger operator in strips and cylinders under small localized perturbations. On a transport operator arising in growing cell populations II. Cauchy problem

This paper deals with Rotenberg's models of cell populations with general boundary conditions. It is shown, first, that the associated Cauchy problem is governed by a C₀‐semigroup. Second, we have proved that if the boundary operator is positive, the transport semigroup is irreducible. And finally, a spectral decomposition of the solution into an asymptotic term was derived. On Grothendieck Subspaces

The modulus of an order bounded functional on a Riesz space is the sum of a pair of Riesz homomorphisms if and only if the kernel of this functional is a Grothendieck subspace of the ambient Riesz space. Difference in enzyme activity and conformation of glucose oxidase before and after purification

Enzyme activity of commercial glucose oxidase was enhanced after purification through a strong anionic exchange resin. In order to get a better insight into this phenomenon, surface pressure–area (π–A) isotherms and surface pressure–time (π–t) isotherms was used to study the interaction and the absorption at different pH values of the subphases between octadecylamine and glucose oxidase purified by a styrene system quaternary ammonium type strongly basic anionic exchange resin. Circular dichroism (CD), electrophoresis and enzyme activity measurements were conducted to study these phenomena. A preliminary hypothesis has been suggested to explain why the enzyme activity of purified glucose oxidase was higher than that of the commercial one.     

Singular Integral Operators with Cauchy Kernel in Fractional Spaces

We single out the Besov spaces that embed into the class of continuous functions and enjoy the Fredholm theory of linear singular integral equations with Cauchy kernel. We give basic results of this theory in the class of continuous (rather than Holder continuous) functions in terms of Besov spaces. Alongside elliptic operators we consider violations of ellipticity: the degeneration of the symbol of an operator at finitely many points.

A one-dimensional Schrödinger operator with point interactions on Sobolev spaces is studied on the basis of the extension theory of nondensely defined operators.
